Despite being my least favorite of the 5 films, Dead Men Tell No Tales had the perfect ending for the franchise in my opinion. Barbossa completed his redemption arc, which began in At World’s End, by sacrificing his life for his daughter, Will and Elizabeth finally get the happy ending they both deserved since the first film, and Captain Jack Sparrow gets the Black Pearl back, for good this time after so many years, and sails off into the sunset to whatever crazy new adventure awaits him. While I would’ve liked a 6th film to round out the number of films, and to create something of a sequel trilogy, I think that it’s best that they end things with DMTNT. I think a reboot or a spinoff is a dumb idea.

I love star wars but i think the most honest thing ever said about George lucas was that "he doesn't write as much as he vomits out of a pen."

So watched Fury Road the same day I watched Furiousa and I think Fury Road is the better of the two. Maybe it’s just me, but the pacing seemed kinda wonky in Furiousa in some scenes and went on for too long compared to the scenes in Fury Road. Furiousa just seemed less fluid.

They essentially stepped their disaster factory several steps backwards and essentially said "fine, YOU make it." As you said, it can't be *this* hard to make a Blade film. I know many have said it but just give us a vampire equivalent of The Raid; Blade works his way through hordes of vamps in a single location, load the film with practical effects and bring in the best fight choreographers out there and boom. Done. Have the main villain at the core of it escape at the end and run off to inform Dracula that Blade is onto them and now you've set up a sequel.

At this point it’s all like a bad dream. So surreal. I’m 41 and was an adult by the time the prequels ended, and back then I never thought Star Wars would continue on after that, seemed like a finite end to it all. But THIS. This I never could have foresaw. Ugh Disney. Smh
