Yet the stunning and brave people are already telling us "television has changed" and "getting 4 million viewers is really good." Not when dross like EastEnders than goes out four nights a week, every week, can achieve 5 million per episode without even trying.

They have every opportunity for artistic greatness, on a nice bed of funds, and these "artists" squandered it with their personal politics and self-righteous rants.

It's very simple, but BBC and the activists just won't hear it. The truth is that most people in the UK (British born at least) are fine with gay people, but they just aren't passionate about it. The BBC think they can force behaviours and tastes to change, but they aren't influential or sophisticated enough to achieve it. When people watch Doctor Who, they expect escapism through exciting space/time travel adventure, and they're getting current day culture war ideology driven content instead. If you don't give the customer what they want, you won't have a customer for much longer.
