I would suggest any of these over AC Shadow.

Yasuke was NOT a samurai, he was Oda Nobunaga's PET.
Either this will surpass the sales of Valhalla and cross the 1 billion dollars sales mark, or this will be the biggest flop of the year and Ubisoft's career. There's no in-between now, time will tell.
They'll be scraping for that money for both SW: Outlaws and AC: Shadows. Nobody talks about the Avatar game, which was released last year, so they're scrounging for that too.

This was the age of some of the biggest battles in Japanese history. If they wanted to add Yasuke, he could had been an informant, giving the player the next mission on behalf of his Lord Nobunaga. It would had been way better for him and more realistic, but they decided to make a man who was just a pet of a Damiyo into a Japanese killer.

All the triple A gaming companies seem to be competing hard to see who can destroy their customer base the fastest at this point. Fortunately for me the AC franchise stopped appealing to me after the second game, so I'm not part of this dumpster fire.
If I go onto the AC Reddit, almost every post is so positive about the game but everybody on the internet is hating on the fact that you don't play as a Japanese character when the game is set in Japan, like if you look at most of the AC games... AC 2.. you played as a Italian and the setting is Italy, AC Unity... you play Arno who is French and the game is set in France, like I don't care if the game is historically accurate or not, I want the characters to feel authentic to the world and setting. I think I know why Ubisoft made Yasuke a main character when he could have been a side character...."the message"
Also the sub reddit have deleted my post which provides criticism and my opinion on why this game shouldn't have a main black character, but apparently I can't voice my opinions which is funny, because the top post on the sub reddit right now, is a Japanese person who is excited and they don't care about the game having a playable black character set in Feudal Japan, but that is not the problem, everyone can have opinions and if you want to play as a black "samurai" in the game then thats fine with you, but its the fact that the reddit is removing any negativity about the game and its only people who praise the game so far are the most upvoted, like its kinda ironic how people who are praising the games are saying everybody has opinions and if they like it then that is their opinion, but people who don't like that the main character is black can't voice their opinions on the reddit, so if you do perhaps go onto the Assassin's Creed reddit, please note if you talk any negativity about the game, you will either get heavily downvoted, even though you can "voice your opinion" or if you create a post trying to call out Ubisoft, then your post is getting deleted
Difference is: as far as I know, the japanese actually loved Ghost of Tsushima (and it actually helped restore the Watazumi Shrine after a typhoon).

If ubisoft had any business sense whatsoever, they'd immediately fire the lead writers of ac shadows, scrap the game and redo it, following the theme of origins and do a founding of the ninjas(by the creed) in the early kamakura Era. It would make for much better and more authentic Japanese story since the birth of the samurai and the ninja emerged in the early years of that time period.
I'm black and I want King Kong vs Godzila to be deleted because Kong is a gorilla and gorillas are native to Africa and not native to Asia as mentioned in the films. You stole what is ours.
