As an Asian, I can absolutely assure that whenever we got bully or some sort of thing this AC black washed stuff, nobody really cares and we also kinda stay quiet most of the time, but when the other minor groups face the same situation, well they fight back and they are always the loudest and proudest. I wish the Yasuke fans would at least be honest and stop pushing this narrative that he is one of the most beloved samurai in Japanaese history. Like if that was true, the bulk of Yasuke media wouldn’t be western studios in the last decade. He is a fun curiosity for some Japanese people, but he isn’t popular.
