Now, what Gamesworkshop are doing is just sad.
Please bring awareness, recently the PrintedWarhammer reddit has been invaded and slowly overrun by bots/NPCs and creatures that are trying to infest even that. Lots of pushing of female Custodes, female Space Marines especially from a certain demographic of people. The reddit is run by atleast 1 mod with very aggressive behavior towards anyone who voices they just don't like the 3D models and no more.
They are literary using bots to like their own posts and interact with each other, all of the replies are very similar. Please spread this and maybe we can have some big channels pull the signal alarm so light is shone on PrintedWarhammer so the cockroaches scurry away.
Brother, its Reddit. They're heavily left-leaning. No matter how much people cover it, call it out, nothing will change. Those tyrant pride-loving mods will remain in power; and censor everything, because that's what most redditors (who are also wokies) want. Every sane person has left that site. And if they haven't their community hasn't been infected yet; or they drank the koolaid.
You don't get it, do you? It's too late. When they roll out the retroactive lore changes, and trot out apologists to defend them? The whole corporate-sponsored hobby is cooked.

I love me some 40K, but it is wonderful to see the stock tank bc people are rejecting the woke bs directed at people who don't care.
I read most of the books and have now moved on from 40k. All the best stuff has already been published so I don't feel like I am missing anything new that comes out of this mess they got themselves into. 3D printers will put their model business out of business and the long time players can still play with the current ruleset. There is still a few story threads I would have liked to see concluded but its no great loss to me.

When the hobby projects of our great fellowship are released, I wonder how much outrage there will be against any spicyness, no matter how small or subtle.

Gw increase the prices for a lot of articles all the time. What for? I replaced my citadel colours with Army painter, the gw tools with different ones - even the glue, and few years ago the games. I tried Battletech Alpha Strike - a great game, I spend my money for zombicide Black plague - holy shit, what a game.

3d printers have come a long way so printing your own army is extremely viable. Plus most of the codex are in digital format so playing with the rules is not hard. GW would rather get a tick in the box for esg then make money. My only concern is those that have a franchise and the situation they're in.

Love your channel but I do have something to say in regards to 3d printing as I both collect and print.
GW are not worried at all by 3d printing. Everything they make sells out as fast as they can make it. Plus 3d printing isn't as easy as they make it look in the adverts. Its a hobby in its own right. Not everyone has the technical inclination, time, patience or space to 3d print. Yes its on the rise, but should gw be worried about 3d printing? Not any time soon.

Same. I've enjoyed the books, (got nearly the whole Horus Heresy series, and a few others) and played just about every 40k game ever made, and I read the lore a lot. The only thing I didn't get into was the tabletop stuff. At first this was like a gutpunch seeing what GW have become, so the thought of dropping it all was galling and I never thought they'd do all this. But honestly, dropping it all was easier than I thought. It'll save me some money and time also.
Here is the thing that the people opposing female Adeptus Custodes don't understand.
For purposes of this issue:
The lore doesn't matter.
Your nostalgia doesn't matter.
Existing female representation doesn't matter.
There is only one thing that matters and when you understand it, you understand that female Custodes and Space Marines must exist.
It is this; Custodes and Space Marines must be inclusive because they are described as being the best of the best of the human race. Whats more, Space Marines are the face of 40K.
If you say women can't be a part of the best of the best, than you are saying women are inherently inferior to men. Thats the shameful 40 year old message they wrote into their lore. That message is not only untrue; it is abhorrent to any fair minded person.
40K has existed with this implicit statement as part of it's IP so far because it is not even a blip on the average person's radar.
But things are changing. Games Workshop and Warhammer 40k are entering larger spheres. They must fix this problem in the lore if they are going to be accepted in those spheres.
Games workshop knows this.
