What is it with some people feeling bad or sorry for him? No one forced him to join, he went in for the money fully aware of the situation and what might happen. He doesn't even care about the Witcher IP or else he wouldn't accept to join and work with the same people who despise the Witcher book and who forced Henry out.
I hope he got all the money upfront. Because this 💩 show is not going to do well at all. 😂😂

Serves them right. You hire writers based on DEI points who not only have no idea about the source material, but hate what they do know. Games-Workshop and Amazon are headed in the same direction with their 40K show. I feel bad for Henry.
Tis a shame, really. Liam might actually do a great Geralt. Unfortunately, this season was damned from the start

Caville really nailed his character on this show. Shame. First shows were brilliant...
In the very first episode of the first season they completely missed the point of the short story they were adapting. You can read it, then watch the episode, and you will see, they failed to convey the point of that plot, effectively making the entire episode meaningless. This was when I realised we're dealing with people suffering from microcephaly in the writers' room, and haven't bothered watching anything after the first episode. You don't put pinheads in charge of writing stories.

The show had lost its way WITH Cavill, but at least there was hope it might get better with him pushing them to stick to the source material…now we’re going to get Blood Origins level 💩
I'm going to be honest, game fans were going to bitch about the show even if it was 100% accurate to the books. Most of them haven't touched the books and don't know the story. See people bitching that Ciri has too much screen time, despite being a main protagonist in the books with as much page time as Geralt in the core series? People are stupid and just wanted monster fighting every five minutes. That being said they did divulge from the books and missed the point of them entirely, especially the short story adaptations.
Have not seen trailer but I was out as soon as I heard about the change
I hope within the next ten year's they remake the series under HBO with a whole new cast and Producers
I stopped watching show after season 2/ Cavils departure. However, Liam looks great. It’s a shame they butcher lore.

i dont hate it...i will give Liam a shot...for two reasons...1rst i like the actor and i do want it to be good (even if it has little chance) 2nd because i want to see how they will go with the story...
The thing is - if you look at Cavill's first Witcher teaser e.g. czcams.com/video/gAN5fVYys24/video.html people hated that too and thought he looked like crap.
Ironically I think that Hemsworth in witcher gear looks more like Connor McLeod than Cavill ever will...

That’s what I did…I didn’t play the games but knew a bit of the lore. Once I found that Henry was the lead, I jumped on it! I liked it, it could have been something really nice! 😢

I think this Liam looking clean in this season is because of a lower budget. I only watched the first season, which had movie quality visuals, but later I saw my friend watching season 3 & I thought he was watching another fantasy show until I saw Henry, because it looks extremely cheap compared to the first season. Everything just looked flat & im guessing season 4 might look the same or worse
I wouldn't have minded Liam taking over as Geralt... BUT... I would've liked it better if the producers went with a more "original" look for Liam's depiction - Like change up the attire so it's not ALL BLACK (which was Cavill's thing) AND... I would've had Liam sporting a full beard like Witcher 3 Geralt. Also, I would've had Liam sporting both swords on his back. This depiction just looks like they've carbon copied Cavill's whole look. 🤔

I haven't even watched season three. Season two was enough to turn me off. I was happy with season one.
I think most people were happy with season one because it was kind of world building a fleshing out some characters but they were expecting season two to go hard core monster killing and it didn't.
I havnt seen the Witcher.

No reason to watch any now, given that they screwed the pooch on season 3 and no Cavill in season 4.
Season one…only season 1
Season two ruins several fan favorite characters and divulges from the books more so than any season. Season one misses the point of a lot of the short stories, but it's a lot better than seasons 2 and 3.
It's not just the writers, it's just the cast also that ruin it. I love the books, I love the games, but this show doesn't haven't anything from the books or games in it. It's a whole own thing, there are many cosplayers online who are much better than the whole cast. Henry, Joey and Kim were the accurate actors in my opinion.

It’s literally hate for main strong masculine character. Fortnite released a Witcher skin package with no Geralt just Ciri and Yen. Like wtf??? Complete cut him out like the show runners wanted to do with Henry.

He is the BeSwitcher. Because he switched with Cavil and tries to BeWitch you. A BeSwitcher. Joke aside, nothing against Liam. Hissritch and cronies get that from me.

The problem isn’t who is playing Geralt, it’s the bloody writing. It’s awful.
Half way through season 2, me and my other half quit watching. We found it quite dull and repetitive in its themes, also I couldn’t stand the dialogue. It’s like teens are playing the characters lol
I’ll just stick to the games and the books. You know, where the writing is actually amazing and mature. 👍

As stated, Liem is, fine. The fault lies with the writers, producers etc. Liem does indeed look too "clean", but I would like to point out that before we saw Henry as Geralt, a ton, if not most, of people also didn't like how he looked.
Oh I think we'll see Liam on more now since the box wine drinking cat collectors will finally be able to write more nude scenes into the show with him.
I'm getting sick of this treatment towards Hemsworth. Lets face facts here, Cavill was not the best Geralt. He didn't even look remotely close to how he's portrayed in the books, or to a lesser extent the games. Cavill did a great voice for Geralt, and thats because he played the games, read the books, and knew the lore. That's the reason people hold him in such high regard for the casting of Geralt, not for his looks, but for how he respected the source materal, which helped elevate his casting. If you took that away from Cavill and he was just another actor cast for a tv show, then Liam actually looks closer to Geralts depiction than Cavill ever did. Lets actually wait for a trailer at least to see how Liam fares before judging him because he is an actor, he took a job, and im sure he will work hard with the material given.

henry cavill's fans are like the SJW, they scream loudly whenever henry is somehow at even a slightest disadvantaged, (puckering their lips in the corner, ready to fluff) but they wont ever show up whenever he make any new movies..
People saying they feel bad for Liam. But understand, he auditioned and asked for the role. He and his team knew the drama and still decided to step into it. It’s on them nobody should feel bad except them.
