“Aliens” Themed 3-Gun at CQB Brutality
Finally was able to get the current version of my Aliens inspired M56 “Smartgun” out to the range, but not just a normal range day: @InrangeTv CQB Brutality called to me and I answered “let’s rock”. In their “3 Goon” class and “Action Hero” division, my kit consisted of the Smartgun, my Mossberg Shockwave build for those close encounters, and a Daewoo DP51 in case I got chased into an air vent. I had to go fill Vasquez with my outfit and it all worked out better than expected.
It’s ok to go to events just to have fun and maybe sharpen your skills a bit. This wasn’t built to win, but I had an absolute blast.
Many thanks to @OperatorClassified and TheyCallMeButt for filming and for @SinistralRifleman and @InrangeTv for inviting me out!

I was invited out to Handgun Brutality 2023 by @InrangeTv and @SinistralRifleman to design and build a gun specifically for a chosen division. You can see the gun that I designed (but unfortunately didn't run) at this link: czcams.com/video/nkoUopJKPUs/video.html For the gun that I was able to run, I went with my brand new Canik MC9 METE, which completely blew away my expectations. The thing ra...

What frame is better in your opinion printed or p80
One isn’t better than the other. A P80 has fewer reliability variables, but a printed frame can even exactly what you want it to be. Want a 26 length grip with a 17 length slide? Print it. Want a frame that looks like the Halo Magnum? Print it. It’s about making what you want and not just what the market offers.
"Target down. Great work,47. Now time to locate an exit.'
So you made a belly gun. A last ditch gun you can press up against an attacked while he's choking you out or beating you.
It’s more competent than that, but sure. You can get all 6 rounds on a hand sized target at the 7 yards that 95% of self defense shootings occur at. But yes, if it goes to ground, you’re still in good shape with this.
I agree....Choate stock and grooved vfg..that's it. Classic look is the best!!
It seems like in the manual it says no +p loads?
Mine is a pre-production model so it didn’t come with the factory manual, but it says right on the site that +P loads are good to go. If the manual says something different, that’s news to me!
I have 2 friends built like you, both prefer a shoulder rig for the access. It's all about training with what you use.
Remember kids. If a politician says something then it's probably bullshit
So, essentially does nothing but look different?. Put the makeup down boys
Third point stabilized for more precise firing at long ranges and non reciprocating optic mounting with MANY more options for optics are reason enough to do something like this. It’s like comparing a Glock 17 with an Evo3 Micro. Both shoot 9mm and both have roughly the same size barrel, so they essentially do nothing but look different right?
cyberpunk type shit
hi I am looking at a Charter Arms Mag Pug 357 RemMag 2" 5rd Rubber Grip SS. Can someone please tell me what they mean by RimMag?
Good gun to bring to a knife fight
I would have to see it and hold it before I thought it was good.
Whatever you say hotshot.
it almost resembles the Taurus view. It’s 38 special also. Looks nice though.
The View was one of my inspirations for this, but I wanted to improve on the concept by retaining +P rating and adding that 6th round.
Very nice....love all the safety lillies that obviously have no real trigger time on revolvers or anything for that matter...did you see the vid on the 1917 .45 Fitz I took?
Cool gun but cutting trigger guard is dumb just personal opinion your gun you can do what you want
It’s not a Fitz without the cut trigger guard and we wouldn’t be talking about it today if it wasn’t a Fitz 🤷♂️
How well is the quality for being only 350 bucks? I have alot of smith and wessons a few colts andblove all steel classics. That being said i was born in may and have always wanted 1 taurus just to have since im a taurus. This looks like a good buy but i also know the problems with low price guns especially revolvers. Even great revolvers like smiths run into timing problms eventually
It’s surprisingly well put together. It’s effectively an all steel Taurus 85 with some cosmetic changes to appear more like a classic revolver, and they did a fantastic job on it. Runs smoother than some of my Rugers and Smiths.
@booliganshootingsports interesting! Yeah rugers quality has gone down hill to the point I refuse to buy any of there revolvers anymore. I have 5 ruger revolvers an 1970s black hawk an 80 security 6, 2 90 new vaqueros and a recent super redhawk tablet in 454. Ruger has 3 factories 1 for pistols, 1 for rifles and Shotguns and 1 for revolvers and the quality of the revolver one has declined significantly. I bought a 3in gp100 last year to finally get a new ruger style da revolver and when it came the barrel was so messed up when you looked at the forcing cone there was material hanging out between the barrel and forcing cone. It couldn't hit shit so after 2 cylinders I sent it back. The guy said he tried 3 new barrels a new cylinder but the whole frame wad a lemon so they offered me any gun I wanted as a replacement so I asked for a super redhawk tablet version which is very hard to get and I wanted one originally before I settled on the 460 s&w. It arrived witch scratches and dings on the crown, the cylinder had bad lock up on one of the chambers it's unpolished in alot of areas like all ruger revolvers leaving this pitted metal look. It was very inaccurate where as my 460 s&w is a tack driver. I took a deer st 96 yards with iron sights running down the fence line of our yard the 2nd day I got the 460. Hit him halfway down the body and spun him around. My dad went out and bought a 460 the next day and scoped it and put a bipod on it lol. The 454 redhawk I bought a barrel scope for but it's still sitting in a box waiting to be used. New smiths on the other hand outside of internal locks not being preferred shoot just as good as the originals. I have 8 s&w revolvers and that's by far my favorite brand. The model 27-2 I have is perfection and my fixed sight model 36 and model 10 are tack drivers.
@booliganshootingsports the only issue I've had with smiths is on older used ones eventually the timing can start to go out. Like I have beautiful 1917 from ww1 that started to have late timing and a victory model that's the same way but I took them to my gunsmith and had large hands put on them and tuned up and they run like butter. My model 27-2 I bought was also owned by a gunsmith and competition shooter so it's been tuned and my god it's the smoothest thing I've ever felt
Now the 500 s&w fritz special
Meme carry that.
fuck taurus
Right because you’re the first person in all of world history to have a snub nosed revolver 😂 they definitely ripped you off man!
I mean, their design and development team literally told me that they decided to make the factory “barkeep” model because of requests from vendors and customers who had specifically referenced my original build videos. I didn’t claim to invent the snubnose revolver. But I created the modern interest in THIS snubnose revolver. You’d be surprised how often manufacturers are “inspired” by the custom builds out getting internet publicity. Luckily I do publicity and design work with their team now and do contract design work for other manufacturers.
This should be a factory option from Taurus
As much as I love a fritz special no company would ever make one. The legal liability is off the charts. Someone one slips when holstering and pushes down the trigger on the edge of the holster boom a foots shot. Now Taurus gets sued.
@@Mibit911 yep sadly true
Is this legal to chop the trigger gaurd like that lol?
There’s no law saying you can’t.
Why wouldn’t it be? Not everything dumb is illegal.
I don't get the open trigger guard thing. What is that supposed to do other than make it really easy to put a new hole in your jeans, and maybe your femoral artery?
It’s an important part of the Fitz Special design. It’s intended for easier access while wearing gloves or when shooting from a coat pocket.
Lmao, so OP was right. Nothing but added danger.
So, you will put a Glock with a 5.5 pound trigger in your pocket with no safety and you have no worries but a .38 snubby without a tigger guard but a 10 pound trigger makes you think you're in danger? Not to mention that thousands of Fitz Special copies have been made and I've never heard of anyone shooting themselves by accident with one. A pocket holster completly covers the trigger so where is the danger?
I’ve done a whole other video on the safety of Fitz Specials. It’s extremely unlikely and requires multiple failures on the part of the shooter to have a ND with one, just like any other firearm.
@@johnelder4273 When someone asks a question, usually, they're seeking to understand. Sarcastic answers that don't actually answer the question, really aren't helpful.
Lookin good man.
The trigger guard worries me but it is correct to the true Fitz special, very cool gun in the evolution of the modern CCW
I can see why you worn gloves, probably FR gloves.
You’re going to look like a real jellybean carrying that heater to the speakeasy.
Everyone at the speakeasy better watch out.
fuck your cp liberty build i need this big bad mf 😭
Could be a little prettier, but it’s a really good start.
Hi there. Do you have a store to sell this?
Tac-14 pump
Is a monster. 😢
I want something like this
I need this for my P80/17 chambered in 357(cant remember the Glock nomenclature for it). I could justify it by saying it will increase velocity and therefore terminal performance... When in reality i just want to look like RoboCop
I had the same exact canted sight issue with my PTR. I sent them an email with a photo of the sight and they sent me a fedex shipping label the next day. Got it back about 2 weeks later and its been a solid 100% gun ever since.
" LDS " LONG DONK SILVER!!! Dayumm... " FORE " !!! Respectfully, Seth ( I keep saying how awesome it could be to be 3D Printing! )
I got a mini desk top cannon like that one that actually shoots liitle ball bearings i need one that size
That is the absolute coolest gun i have ever seen
Yes but does it go pew pup pew or does it go Burrrrr?
The #PSAX57 AND MY own version of THIS! 🛡️😎⚔️👹
The end result is a .38 special offering the ballistics of an old .38 S&W short. Lol
With short barrel optimized loads, you can hit 250 ft/lb muzzle energy! It still has a lot of punch.
Only think missing is a longer barrel to really get the most out of the 5.7mm
3:46 "let's try to turn some gun powder into smiles" Quotes like this remind me why I reload ammo 😅
Do you think I would be able to build this in California. And if so where I could look up information. Any help is greatly appreciated
Unlikely, but someone like Reno May could likely provide more info.
That was cool with the shotgun
