- I was invited out to Handgun Brutality 2023 by @InrangeTv and @SinistralRifleman to design and build a gun specifically for a chosen division. You can see the gun that I designed (but unfortunately didn't run) at this link: • Booligan Shooting Spor...
For the gun that I was able to run, I went with my brand new Canik MC9 METE, which completely blew away my expectations. The thing ran perfectly, and if I had properly prepared before the match, I would have placed much better.
Enjoy this run of the match and stay tuned for more content like this, as I'm officially hooked on these kinds of matches now. - Věda a technologie
I RO the brutality events, glad you had a good time. Makes setting up the stages and running this really worthwhile to see people such as yourself having such a good time. Hope we got you hooked and we see you again.
I’ll definitely be back. I’m putting together some good options for CQB Brutality in the fall!
@@booliganshootingsports CQB is going to be a lot of fun, very unique. look forward to seeing you there. Any chance of making it up to Idaho for High Desert Brutality? It's gonna be amazing as well.
Unfortunately can’t make it out to high desert.
@@booliganshootingsports You need an optic for this ?
@@booliganshootingsportshey booly, i just figgured out what your old work-in-progress needs to be complete...
A few years ago, a few airsoft companys made a under-barrel 12gauge launcher.
With a bit of your fine-tuning, im sure it would survive a 12gauge flare.
Very slick reloads, smooth and quick! And you almost had that spinner, I don't think you heard me but I was rootin for you 😂 Great shooting man.
The overwhelming positivity and support at the events is amazing. Thank you!
Dan sent me here. 😂
After years of following your reviews and sage advice, I believe you are of the few who discerned enough during airsoft reviews to understand what it means to shoot
Occasionally, lol. Comps like this definitely help highlight your deficiencies as a shooter and I found this whole exercise really helpful for training.
@@booliganshootingsports that's modestly said! Haha I'm sure next time having actually gotten to know your new pistol and this setup will it start getting fun lol
That looks awesome. Great job!
I loved the one-handed shooting - it actually looked good!
those are some seriously cool stages it mustve been so much fun
Damn this looks fun and hard and hard as hell
Would love to see some of your designs on the clock. If I could get a holster together I'd be tempted to run one of the long slide Glocks chungus'
My mete mc9 magazines would fall freely, after investigating, I had a plastic burr from the forming process that was causing excess friction, after using one of those snap blade box cutter to remove it they don’t cause me any more issues
Yep, I filed the frame a tiny bit after this comp to get my mags to drop free.
He walks really good
Can you make a AKM space style kit for the Draco 9S? Stock and grip attachments?
Inrange kinda went crazy dude, might wanna check out Ians vid on it.
Man, I wish you posted more!
Unfortunately CZcams doesn’t show my longform content anymore so I’m not hugely motivated to make it. But they do show my shorts which is good at least.
Man i remember the time crisis game!
I kicked ass at Time Crisis back in the day.
Very interesting.
I have no further comment or elaboration though.
Come back booligan we miss you
It's pronounced rather like "John+ick" and "Math+a". Canik is a range of mountains in Black Sea region of Türkiye, and also a small city/district around it, and Mete was Turkic ruler aka Modu in Chinese. From Istanbul with love ✌
Badass gun competition! Is this in St. George?
Yep! It’s at the practical shooting sports complex in Washington
This was down in Saint George correct?
Yep, at the huge practical shooting park near Washington
Been trying to leave a response to your comment on InRange about how much you and the other print guys are doing for the 2A but I can't get anything to post, not even a simple "test comment".
Not surprising, social media hates us all.
Actually I just double checked and it appears that Karl banned/blocked me on my main account. I guess the message got too political for him. I simply stated without malice that law makers in my state had crushed my 2A rights with Jim Crow laws and how guys like you were doing more than any rights group to give them back to me. I've heard people say before that he has some pretty wild views and doesn't appreciate free speech so honestly I think it hit a nerve with him and sent him into full censorship mode LoL
Here's what it said in case you're curious.
Guys like Booligan are doing more for the 2A than any group I know. Leftist law makers in my state made it almost impossible for law abiding citizens to get handguns for over 100 years starting in the Jim Crow era in 1919. This issue affected me worse than anyone else because a county line residency issue prevented me from getting handgun purchase permits for my entire adult life until republicans finally came together with enough votes to topple our tyrannical democrat governors vetos. Before the R's saved me from tyranny it was innovative guys like Booligan here that made sure I had access to my constitutional rights. If it weren't for him and his informative vids and important uploads I may not have been able to build my first AR pistol.
@@Impactjunky well, Karl is a total lefty, maybe praising Republicans got his panties in a bunch.
@@Impactjunky jim crow wasn't leftists you illiterate dork
I'm guessing the game reference was from Bloodborne. Eileen the Crow, "A hunter must hunt" (but with a thick Victorian English accent, so hunt sounds like hoont).
That’s the one!
Correct.
A hunter should hunt beasts. Leave the hunting of hunters to me.
(I named the stage).
Idea being that in bloodborne you regain health after taking damage be being aggressive and dealing damage, and we(Karl, Russell and I) wanted to steal that idea. So if you take damage(shoot a penalty) you have a quick moment of aggressive redemption on the circle plate.
WHERE ARE YOU!?!? MISS YOUR VIDS!!
I’ve got fun things planned for my return 👍
@@booliganshootingsports can't wait bud! You're truly an inspiration to so many of us!
@@booliganshootingsportslooking forward to it. ever get around to adding some LEDs to the sawed off cyberpunk shotgun?
Same, love watching his builds
refreshing to hear “Kentucky windage”. Makes me wanna dust my 1851 navy sheriff off.
Where's Booligan??!
Still producing videos but at a more leisurely pace. CZcams doesn’t show my subscribers my videos so there’s not a lot of point to taking the time producing them. But I still do short videos fairly regularly as CZcams doesn’t throttle those as bad. Long form content comes and goes whenever I have interesting things to show.
Who really needs an Optic for this ? I know you're a Big 7 yard proficiency advocate so I thought the Optic would be overkill
Miss the 75+ yard shots on half sized torso targets from a 3” barreled tiny sight radius gun?
Optic shooters outperform iron shooters. Look at any shooting competition since the advent of optics.
@@booliganshootingsports For the last 6/7 years Optics in Professional competition had become popular. You had a shot or 2 at 75+ the rest of your exercise was at minimal distance. For you to use an Optic was like Cheating and hardly a true representation of proficiency.
@@booliganshootingsports you understand for How long people shooting competitively have not Used Optics ? Long enough to show Real proficiency is Demonstrated without them
Optics in professional competition date WAY further than 6/7 years. Look at frame mounted Cmore sights on open division guns dating back to the early 90s. See par and comp times on optic equipped guns vs iron equipped guns since that time. There’s a reason they have to put iron only shooters in their own classes, because they get outshot by optic shooters and complain.
It’s like complaining that Formula 1 cars exist when NASCAR exists too. One is better and faster. It’s not cheating, it’s equipping yourself with the best options available for all scenarios.
This comp was a good demonstration. I’m an ok shooter. Not great, not bad. With a gun I’ve never fired before, shooting against people who shoot much more than me and who have a LOT more money in their guns, most of which are designed to be easier to shoot than this little micro compact handgun, I finished about middle of the pack. That’s the testament to a good gun, good fundamentals, and yes, optics.
@@booliganshootingsports No Optic, No Middle of the Pack. Not all Guns have Optics, not all can afford Optics, you may not always have the Luxury of defense with an Optic ready handgun. Learn to be Proficient without them and be proficient with anything In your hand. That is the Truthful Reality of where a shooter is at
