The Devil's Carnival and the sequel, Alleluia! The Devil's Carnival, were unwatchable for me. I love Repo: The Genetic Opera though...

I've never walked out in a cinema before, but I had to turn off August Underground Mordem about 1/3 of the way through..I can deal with violence/torture/gore, but torture and gore like a smut film aspect I cannot..that paired with the motion sickness I felt with the camera movements and poor lighting plus the f word thrown in literally every other word just for lack of dialogue was enough for me.

The Human Centipede was a funny comedy next to that...

The movie irritated me. It's a cartoon caricature of the '70s made by people that didn't live through the decade.

I've turned movies off halfway through before, but that's because they sucked

The BBC Anthology show Inside No.9 has a episode caled 3x3 which has related themes to his movie, pretty good

"Funny Games" is a little Vanilla for this list. Ok for trashy horror but VERY shallow compared to the rest.

Safe Haven is a 10 for sure. It’s the best one in any of these movies. So memorable I always compare cult horror films to that one.

I only support it because it has a "muscle mommy" as a lead. More woman with this physicality should be allowed in lead roles. Not just prissy or petite women as this discrimination. Women come in all body types.

Hungry Hearts is more traumatizing than Marriage Story, but both star Adam Driver.

The Warrens themselves were frauds IRL. I hate that these movies try and make them heroes. They were nothing but con artists, preying on their gullible clients!

I've tried to get through The Sadness twice now (a few months apart) and I just can't lol I love horror, I love zombie/rage type films...I know 100% that it's fake, but THIS film just gets to me in a way no other film has, and I seen a lot of horror over the years. I'm about 1/2 way, where the guy is on the scooter in the hills/countryside. I think that where I'll leave things for a while. BUT I want to know what happens to the girl and I "hope" they make it out together. But I have a feeling things are actually going to go the opposite and get much worse before the end...😳☹

I’ll have to look through your posts but to save time, two greats from the 80s which I’m sure you’ve seen but just in case, are Pumpkinhead and C.H.U.D.! Also, I have an original Blade doll from Puppet Master.

Probably not new to you but Lars Von Trier’s depression trilogy. All three are hard to watch imo.

Is it gorier than Evil Dead Rise? Someone I know wants to come see this with me in two days and is a bit nervous as he cant handle anything past the level of Evil Dead Rise in terms of gore and blood

Savage Streets sounds like it deserves to be a cult classic if it's not. I'm definitely going to give that a watch.

I just finished watching it, so i came here to finally finish watching your video. I was actually surprised at how much it got to me. I have a history of sexual abuse that is a bit similar to what is portrayed in the show. And the accuracy of his reactions and the traumatic response to the experiences are exactly what i've been through. I've seen many movies and tv shows that portrayed similar subject matter and it's never affected me quite this much. It never felt this real before. It was triggering in a way, but also strangely freeing.

“The one thing I loved more than her was hating myself.” This show was heartbreaking. I teared up several times. This is what’s missing in cinema today, raw and uncompromising emotional truth put before us. First time I’ve heard of Richard Gadd and he’s blown me away.

I really feel that "Them" season 2 needs a shout out! So far it's had some really bone chilling scenes. I don't know what it is .. but the series seems to be pretty under the radar for how well executed season 1 was.

I saw The Skin i Live in in school. My spanish teacher figured it was a good movie to show her class. Let's sat it was a controversial choice among both students and parents. I wanted something to run behind as I worked on my project.i started watching this. And kept everything aside...until I finished this. I put myself thru it again. To really know if I got the meaning of the entire thing right. I have faced such a stalker, not this intense, but yes 200-300 calls a day for 8-9 months.

I just watched this movie last night and 1st hour is so sloooow 🦥🐌 I actually fell asleep and when I woke up it was at the part about the cops 😴😳🤯 I went back on the DVD 📀 and finished the movie and loved the 2nd half of the film 😁👍 so I guess I have to give the 1st hour 👎 but the last 40 mins 👍 for a final score of 8 out 10 if you watch the movie Stick with it because it does get Good 😃

Cool list! I know three of the movies mentioned but i watched only two - Tim Roth's movie is really sonething you cannot forget. I also loved Spider - i watched it in a theatre when it came out and I bought the book as well. The one that I didn't watch is Asia Argento's movie - I was extremely disappointed by her debut, Scarlet Diva, one of the most embarrassing movies I watched - I believe the correct way to describe it is sad-cringe.

Kids, from 1995, is one that I found profoundly disturbing...just the fact that it was made is kind of disturbing.
