@@rustyshackleford6035 She wasn't bad in Twilight either. Bella as a character was an insecure, awkward, introverted teenager who didn't communicate well. And that's what she portrayed. People just in general hated on Twilight and tried to find as much stuff to hate on as possible. Though Twilight has been having a bit of a renaissance as the girls who used to love it are now adult women and out of f*cks to give what old male movie critics and old men in general have to say about the media they consume.
Kristen Stewart played Princess Diana in Spencer! It was a very subtle role for her & she earned Oscar nomination for it
EDIT: I actually loved the movie! & I think this is her greatest performance, Nothing showy but she’s doing much more!
Slighly off topic but you mentioned the whole vomit thing......I saw The Blair Witch Project in the theater in 1999 when it came out. People were still questioning if it was "real" and the theater manager came in and gave a little talk before the movie started. He pointed out where all the exits were and they rolled out a big garbage bin that people could vomit in(had never seen that before or since). This warning was basically because of motion sickness but it did really add to the whole experience of the movie. Nobody barfed though so that was kind of disappointing.

I thought saint maud was okay, really well done, but I really liked this one just because there was so much more plot so the pace felt more to my speed. Great fun.

Grew up in Albuquerque and saw this was filmed in certain spots of Duke City in the trailer. That place is sure starting to come up in film.
I've been dying to see this since i heard about it last year. Love K Stew I'll watch any movie she's in but for her to be in a Rose Glass movie has made me even more excited to see this one. Thanks for this great review.

I'm very interested to see this one. Saint Maud is one of my favorite horror movies and I feel like Rose Glass is well on her way to cinematic fame.

How to watching it online
I feel I'm the only horror fan that did not enjoy St. Maud at all, but I LOVE Kristen and gore, hopefully I can enjoy this film.
I saw this with my mom, hahaha…. She’s a big Kristen Stewart fan and loved it.
I really liked Kristen in this. Even though she was playing a character like herself, I actually felt less like I was just looking at Kristen Stewart somehow.

Saint Maud was very good and I really enjoyed it. Personal Shopper was another underrated horror movie. I loved that movie.

I called this film The Dark Adventures of She-Hulk. I really enjoyed it though
I have no problem with gore in movies as long it fit the story the movie is telling. I know some have enjoyed and other haven't, which is typical when it comes to some A24 films. I'll check it out when comes out here in Philly here in the States.

How did the police not smell the body in the room with Kirsten Stewart. Gun powder or the person using the restroom on them selves for the last time. Outside that movie very different. I enjoy the story though

I mean, this is a24 we’re talking about. If the test audiences aren’t having a visceral reaction, did they even do their jobs? A24 is really the only studio out there allowing filmmakers to take big creative and unique swings and I’m all here for it. The mainstream audiences eventually get tricked to watching them but I think I’d rather the mainstream audiences pay their money and be slightly disappointed than to not watch them at all!

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but Saint Maud wasn't all that to me, but this one seems interesting to me.
I'm excited for Rose Glass to make more movies because they will vindicate my criticisms of Saint Maud. Her politics are obnoxious and idiotic. They were transparent in Saint Maud, but it went over most normies' heads. I suspect that won't be the case in her latest.

I only support it because it has a "muscle mommy" as a lead. More woman with this physicality should be allowed in lead roles. Not just prissy or petite women as this discrimination. Women come in all body types.
