I LOVE Santa Sangre!
I was in the audience once on the Amanda show
Heartbreaking to watch what she went through
"Knock at the Cabin" is brilliant. Don't need to apologize. Shyamalan is an underrated director.
Booo!! Sucks
Too simple to be brilliant even if you loved it lmao
And no it was not “brilliantly simple” lmao
@@sawyerscheitler6416 It's a brilliant movie even if you don't like it. Perfectly written and executed. And the fact you think "simplicity" is a defect proves you know nothing of art.
@@sawyerscheitler6416what exactly makes it “simple”? 🤨
I just watched Frogman and enjoyed the Blair Witch throwback feel of the movie.
"Frogman?... How can you assume it's a man?." 😂
I wish I had your attention span. I celebrate if I can sit for 3 movies a month 😭 but the three I watch are ones you’ve recommended haha
omg the 31 days of horror mention lol, that's how i found your channel and also so many spooky recommendations!
YAY! Making my coffee to watch this video!
I was laid up for a month and you still watched way more movies than I did! 😊
OKAY, THANK YOU! LISA FRANKENSTEIN WAS AWESOME. I was so confused by how critical some of the reviews were. I thought it was fun and I really appreciated it for what it was. Quiet on the Set was harrowing the one episode solely focused on one persons experience was so heartbreaking. Also, The Traitors is totally brilliant I do wish they would change up some of the challenges as UK and USA not only share the same location, but sometimes the Challenges are the same for the corresponding seasons. Have you gotten into The Challenge? Reality TV gold. I started on season 25 (there's 38) and haven't regretted it since. Thanks again for all you do!
The Quarry is so fun! I just started playing it a couple days ago.
Season 4 of True Detective is technically stand alone....but it's connected to the first season in ways season 2 and 3 were not.
Lots of fun watches this month, Emma.
Always look forward to these. Great work as always.
Hi Emma! I don't know if you already knew this, but The Silent House is a remake of La Casa Muda, a 2010 movie from Uruguay. I watched them both when they came out, and I remember prefering the original, even though I liked the remake as well. Very tense and ansiety inducing movies!
21:23 Godzilla Kong: The New Empire
Thanks for the tips! I always enjoy your wrap up videos.
Thanks for the post Emma, Love the reviews of the videos ☺️☺️😊😊
These are probably my favorite videos
Lisa Frankenstein Stan! The comparison to Warm Bodies is spot on. I went in expecting something tonally the same but was pleasantly surprised with how much heart this movie had! And I loved the sisters relationship. So glad folks here appreciate the movie too!!
I watch these videos with pen and paper in hand. There's so many movies I don't know about that'll like to see. Thanks for the heads up Emma!👉🙂👈
Good review 😊
Outback sounds like Wolf Creek. Which I love and want a third. 😊
Thanks for the recap for March, Emma. I have got to get to "Frogman" and "Amelia's Children" as soon as I can. It was a pretty average movie month for me, but here are my top three for March:
LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL (2023) - score 8/10, such a treat to watch.
NIGHT SHIFT (2023) - score 7/10, set during one night at a lonely motel, with an unexpected twist.
GODZILLA X KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE (2024) - score 9/10, I loved it!
Have you seen the Spanish horror movie Disappear Completely from 2022? It is a very interesting movie about a series of events that causes a photographer to slowly start losing his five senses one at a time. The question is whether he is slowly starting to succumb to his demise or is he spiraling into a psychosis he cannot escape from... Definitely worth the watch, it is on Netflix now.
If you like Traitors, Kid Nation and other reality shows I highly suggest The Joe Schmo Show from 2003. 1 participant is 'real' and the rest are actors.
Loved Silent House
I personally prefer the end of knock at the cabin to the book. I liked the film.
New movies I watched this month!
- a dark song
- Villains
- Unwelcome
- Ghost Watch
- hell house llc 2
- hell house llc 3
- sunshine
- the void
- anyone but you
- luck of the Irish
- heartbreakers
I can't wait to see Frogman. It's getting good reviews too
Origin is definitely going to be a priority on my watch list! Very interesting month. So many good recommendations!
17:40 lucky I can't find this anywhere
thanks for recommending the Tunnel! ~ beg ur pardon: what system is that u use to track what u'ved watched? (I'd like to give it a go) ~ Great content!
I love November
Watched Lisa Frankenstein last night and enjoyed it. Kathryn newton gives a strong unique comedic performance. I think this is my favorite role of hers.
did you know Silent House is actually a remake of an Uruguayan movie called La Casa Muda? highly recommend checking that one out
11:48 we shall see about that. If I can watch it.
I really need to finish Succession, we paused after season 2 and haven't got back to it! The new True Detective season sounds so good too, I wasn't interested in continuing after the 1st so good to hear this one is horror!
btw emma you should watch the first and second season of 'the missing' 2nd season is amazing but both are good. the second eason just keep s you on your toes. highy recommend if you havent watched that.
Happy to see a horror fan who also watches VPR hehe
The first season of True Detective I believe is connected to the fourth season. You can watch it without seeing it I suppose but the reveals won’t be as cool without that perspective
True Detective tied to the first season of, True Detective. (Maybe other seasons - I haven’t watched 2 or 3). In the first season, Mathew McConaughey is tracking down the head of the ritual murders & it’s the family who owns the mining company in the most recent season of true detective.
Some nice recs. I skipped Frogman because it looked like it got horrible reviews, but I'll give it a go. I skipped Origin too, but I'll watch it with my gf. November is now on my list! I did a double-take when you mentioned Kid Nation. I watched that when it aired like 17 years ago! You doing Bug Juice next? 😅
Glad you enjoyed Frogman! Thanks for the review!🐸🪄
hey have you seen sweet home yet emma youd like it it at korean horror tv show just came out with a 2nd season. plus do a ep on Takashi Miike hes the best soo many good films and his masters of horror ep was so good.
Bloodborne is my favourite horror game!!! Very long, but would be entertaining just to try if you haven’t
"Mostly harmless" was the name of a hiker. Can't remember the story, but it's a rabbit hole
Yes this is that story
If you're interested in more on the behind-the-scenes of Kid Nation, JonTron did a 2-part interview with the youngest member of the show about 3 years ago :)

I remembered watching a movie a couple weeks ago and getting all disappointed, but not which one it was. Thanks for reminding me it was Knock on the cabin. What a let down.
I would also second the request to watch the original version of Silent House.
I believe I’ve seen it
Omg I thought Kid Nation was a fever dream. I remember watching that when I was young! (Also, Bloodborne is definitely the best horror game out there)
In “Outback” were they attacked by drop bears? 🐨
I loved night country until the end. It felt rushed to me.
Knock at the cabin would've been better with the book ending. Hated the Hollywood ending but a pretty good adaptation
I thought Wicked Little letters was both hilarious and charming.
Hi Emma . Totally not related to this but are Horroscope and Tarot the same move ?
No
i didnt think so now im starting to think that way, theres conflicting articles!
Watching a documentary on Netflix called unexplained it came out today pretty creepy
I took my Mum to see Wicked Little Letters and I was surprised I had a laugh it was a easy watch and very funny
Your face is mesmerizingly beautiful.
Please watch the original uruguain The silent House from 2010 ,the remake is good but very bland.
I got hacked on my instagram too and I haven’t got it back yet!!! 😩who is Adam and Jake!?
_Please_ don't open a video with a jumpscare like "It's already April," my constitution can't take it.
And *SUPERCONGRATULATIONS* on getting your Instagram back! That's gotta be a huge relief. Big hugs to Adam and Jake.
I didn’t open with a jumpscare it’s my opener that I’ve had for years?
I think they meant "it's already April" not actual jumpscare :D@@spookyastronauts
Ohhh! I see thanks haha I was confused
@@gorg-zj6mo Bingo! 😆
In U.S today is 3rd of April, times & Months goes sooo fast
In the rest of the world is January 10th, you are so ahead!
@@jotade2098
Can't wait for the Halloween that's my favorite time of year actually the whole October month 🥰😘
Hmmm yes it’s the same here, not sure what you mean we both share the same calendar
Every time you say that the lead in The Rapture decides to convert “overnight” it triggers me.
You and only you!
Watched at least 90% of the recomended from last month. Really hoping this month is better I dont want another frogman 😅
Just wanted to point out the pacing of You'll Never Find Me. It does a great job of shuffling the audiences emotions Id say, the added time was added anxiety for me
This may be unfair but I absolutely will not consume any film that uses any AI. Even if it’s just a couple of photos, it’s about setting a precedent. So I unfortunately cannot support even though I’ve heard great things
I would say to look into it further, apparently it was the art department themselves that cut corners to get the work done because they were on a time and budget crunch 2 years back before it was as popular . I wouldn’t believe word of mouth on this one, big studios get away with it more often but they just don’t discuss it. I’m sure you have watched many films with it. I do think it’s important to talk about so moving forward people are aware of how audiences feel, but that takes time to research and have those conversations
@@spookyastronauts very fair! I’ll look further into it because I don’t want to miss a good film if I don’t have to! I would just hate to see AI generated films or people losing their jobs to AI it makes me sick just thinking about it! But I’ll look into it further and give it a chance:)
You'll never find me
I'll never find that movie again, was bored to death
I only watched Amelia's children out of your list. I enjoyed it but such cringe !!!!
Did you watch Irish Wish? You kinda look like Lindsay Lohan
We don't want any give away. Just your reviews.
Your new chopping editing really, really sucks. Once you were cool and natural. How many stars? Oh well. New world.
Hey thanks for the feedback, I haven’t changed anything to do with my editing but I’ve had a hard couple of weeks doubling my content and pushing myself with streams, so maybe I had a few more pauses than usual in this video to cut out the dead air. I apologise for that. My star system hadn’t changed I don’t put stars on entries that I’ve done stand alone reviews for, that’s always been the case.
