My son always knew he wanted to enlist, we just always thought he would choose Air Force. He told me wanted to be a Marine. He turned down huge “signing bonuses” from the other branches for a chance to be the best of the best. And he earned it. I could not be prouder of him.

What some don’t think about right away is that the American military isn't just our Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Space Force it’s also our citizens. We have numerous civilians, that own similar or the same equipment than what even our military has provided for them. We even have civilians who own tanks, helicopters, rpgs, and not to mention our arms, ammunition, armor piecing rounds, ballistic vests, ballistic helmets etc. I’m talking about civilian ownership of these items. Here in the U.S. for most states you can even order ammo, ballistic vests, ballistic helmets online and have it shipped to your door delivered to you. It’s super cool to have that freedom, and for people who cry wolf on gun violence when they hear the word America, just know that most of that gun violence is committed by gangs who possess firearms illegally anyway. I love our country, and America provided a safe home for my family when they fled a war that broke out in their homeland. By nationality I’m European, by birth and my patriotism I’m American. USA all the way my brothers and sisters, oorah! 🇺🇸 💪 😎

I spent 10 1/2 months on the front lines in Ukraine & was injured by a Russian artillery shell in Bakhmut. I suffered a traumatic brain injury & numerous shrapnel wounds in my back and legs. God bless my medic who saved my life as he pulled me out and got me to the hospital. I spent about 3 months in the hospital just outside Kiev & now I'm home in America where I see these socialist college kids who are pushing for a socialist government & fascist police officers who believe they can stop you at any point & demand i.d from you like this is 19030's nazi Germany. These people have no idea how valuable freedom is & I wish they all would be sent to the front lines so they can see the cost of freedom while trying to stay alive every single second while trying to save their guys lives as well. Funny in Ukraine I was called a hero & back in America I'm treated like a criminal by law enforcement. When is America going to get rid of these socialist & fascist who are destroying America from the inside. I wish I was back in Ukraine but my injuries keep me from going back as I would just put others lives in danger because I can't move like I used to be able to move.

I have to drop a comment related to the formation in slow pace column... I was on the Portuguese Marines or Fuzileiros 5 years from 83 to final of 88 and this type of formation for the ones that never fought in countries with high cover grass and vegetation like this in the video or country with large forests , there is a problem , specially with this type of Rebel or terrorist camps , is that they had a lot of booby traps possibly mines so the guy in front usually carries a mine detector and all others follow his steps , another situation is if you check the beginning of the assault the Personnel carrier vehicles are in fact at both sides in front attacking with the Mounted machine gun and they should not advance to the camp until they are given orders to do it , So this is called coordinated assault on a certain location or building and finally possibly there are more Portuguese soldiers in the other side of the camp or in the left or right sides , the assault never could be done the way you think or given the stuff i talked here a lot of units could be injured ... Just my two cents ! Salutes from an old soldier !

Ryan, in a hot climate the quickest way of cooling the body is to expose the glabrous regions of the body to cold or icy water. In this case the palms of the hands & the upper part of the face, areas where hair follicles don't grow. Andrew Huberman has done a fair amount of work with US SF on this.

The SAS are the best western special forces no doubt, but in the rest of the world? Remember these guys come from 1st world countries & are backed by 1st world resources, they’re tough as nails but haven’t lived in a tough environment compared with other parts of the world, there’s bearded men in Afghanistan that fight & overcome invading superpowers, they faced the military might of the NATO & didn’t give up eventually retaking they’re country back, armed only with small arms they faced the most advanced technology NATO had, had to deal with airpower as well as a far superior equipped NATO ground force backed by massive firepower, these western SF guys have only ever fought those from much poorer nations, less trained & equipped, they are fed upto to date intel on they’re much weaker enemy & operate in the shadows, they are provided every advantage over those they fight. Turn the tables in Afghanistan, imagine if these SF guys were equipped with only small arms & the taliban has all the weapons & air superiority, massive firepower, do you think these guys would last a single day there? It’s easy to claim to be the best when you have all the expensive toys backing you against a barely equipped opponent, when you have access to satellite imagery, precision guided missiles, jets & attack helicopters & the opponents have non, it’s like a heavyweight boxing champion fighting a old blind man & being proud of winning the fight.
