With all due respect for Ukrainian soldiers l don't understand at 14.19 why Tank is withdrawing and at least 5 times less powerful and less protected Military vehicle is leading attack . Answer will be highly appreciated .
the tank is a very formidable weapon, but at this stage of the war it is a glass cannon, since drones destroy tanks very easily, now the tank goes into position, shoots at the target and immediately leaves the battlefield. If it stays more than 10 minutes in one place, it will be destroyed.
It seem to have be reported by some channels that these guys refuse to obey orders from the new commander in their mission in the coke plant. They seem to realize that this was a long lost fight that was already hopeless and the forces of south Avdiivka that were cut off had mostly no chance and saw no reason to stay. In many ways this battle was mix of Mariupol and Bakhmut in both forces that should've left a long time ago before getting cut off and sending forces into a meat grinder for PR reasons. Seem like even if they did kept going with this mission they wouldn't have made much of a difference anyways.
It seems you don’t quite understand what the third brigade is, they are one of the first to implement junior officers. The commander decides on the spot whether to carry out the order or not. What you described did not actually exist, these are rumors of Russian propaganda When your commander leads an attack and shows fearlessness and heroism, it is very difficult not to follow such a leader. Only VOLUNTEERS are accepted into the third brigade. People who want to fight are all in the third brigade of their own free will and desire.
There were mix reports at the time many of which were coming from pro-Ukraine groups in fact I don't think or recall anything that came from the pro-Russian groups at all until much later. And I know for some people this is going to be a hard truth to accept the Russians sources aren't that bad and if anything better than most of the Ukraine sources. From what little I found out later they were sent in to delay a operation encirclement/weaken its effects at the time to allow as many people a way out which still ended badly at the time. I never stated they were conscripted force where the on Earth did you get that idea from?
I would rather see my tax dollars going to proud men who are fighting for their homes and families instead of all the money that goes off to the countries who hate us then work against us. The government will piss away every dollar dollar they get we have had homeless people and border problems for years they always remind us a year before elections then do very little to fix
