@@RyanForrest1664 Alert! There is a scammer among your comment, and is impersonating you trying to give fake givaways
☝️this guy maybe spell it right first off and unless you no him personally then why are you in here saying dumb stuff.
@Thom1973 a simple what happened by calling someone a (liar) ok bud, and I'm not attacking anyone just simpley making a point you calling someone a liar is a very odd way of asking a simple question I'd say.
@Thom1973 right after you show me proof he isn't bud.
shoutout to the guy in the back doing 90% of the work!
Perfect last name for this dope new series. Would love to join in on one of these!
Let’s do it!
Definitely makes me want to dig out my passport, or have Ryan come to the swamps of the SE USA for an adventure
@@RyanForrest1664 i do be living in colorado. Love this new idea for a channel btw! lets chat about it sometime I have some thoughts that might be helpful!
@@RyanForrest1664 . i sent a private message
This was honestly one of the most therapeutically pleasing videos I’ve ever watched brother. I could watch this type of video for hours
one of the best things that happened to me is finding this channel... hats off to u mate hope u succeed on ur new journey🔥 wht a great start to the bushcraft world
Welcome dude
I love the outdoor boys channel and live even more your idea from someone I’ve followed a long time as an American Patriot that loves my British war fighters , now you’re doing a survival shelter outdoor channel and I’m ALL about it ! Love to see a colab of you and the outdoor boys guy. Keep up the great content brother
I only caught that this was uploaded on my work break, and I will have to come back to it later. I look forward to it
Congrats on your 1st Bushcraft video. Will finish watching after work.
Thanks mate
That little saw is the bomb !!
Awesome bit of kit hey mate
This is awesome I'm excited for more of these! I think i may start bushcrafting again!
It's happening!!!
Yes indeed
Tremendous marra, you should definitely keep doing these videos 📹 👏 😉👍

Hey!!! This very exciting to see. Love that you actually did it within of a week of saying you want too! This is awesome, and excited for you! Watching your military stuff was really cool, and seeing you apply some of the military stuff for us to see is really exciting as well. I hope you get to come to the states and camp out here in the future.
If these videos do well I’ll travel the world doing them bro. Glad you are here and support the channel my friend
Yesss! Can't wait for more videos! Love this direction the channel is taking!
Thanks mate
I've enjoyed watching the Outdoor Boys the last few years. But being from the UK it made the video so much more enjoyable being able to relate to the environment your in. Keep these videos coming !!!
Love it. I found bushcraft a “ few” years ago when I got out of the military. Going out and keeping yourself alive with your own drive and work fills that space that civilian life doesn’t. I’m no poet but you get my point. Keep it up.
Nice one Ryan, keeping them coming mate very entertaining "you get a thumbs-up from me" 👍👍
I know Steve Wallis would gladly go camping/stealth camping with you.
great video man love to see that you took matters into your own hands and decided to change your content hope you continue to stay passionate about this you could get as big as outdoor boys one day
Yess love seeing your content! Can't wait to see more of this type of videos!
I want more outdoor vids for sure
Living here in Kentucky USA has all the benefits of outdoor activities to heal the soul.. Salute!!
Super excited to watch this!
Enjoy mate
I knew the out door boys would cry about you using his videos. It's a shame. I'm sure you've sent a whole new audience his way and you said nothing negative about him. He just seems like he is a Darren at heart. Good content or not. Great work getting started soldier.
Thank you brother
to be fair due to some bad reactors in the past (and present in a way), reaction type videos are usually looked down on. it's not like he needs to react anyway, i'm sure ryan will grow a following if he keeps uploading videos of him bushcrafting and spending the night out since they are genuinely great
It's good to see you're staying local on these early trips. Wet rainy weather has it's own challenges regarding staying warm and dry. No need to dig a snow cave to make good outdoor videos.
Basic camping trips are inspiring, since they don't require a big investment in specialized clothing and tools.
Liked before I even watched. Looking forward to the new content.
Perfect spot for a tarp camp
i found your channel only recently and i love it. I have been binge watching all the survival reaction videos and am super excited to see you do this!
Glad you are here mate. Trying this out to see if the CZcams gods send it to the world, fingers crossed
This is great, you're on the perfect track! Get your skills back up and pick up some new ones on your own channel and then try to get that collab with Luke somehow! Looking forward to the content as always
New subscriber to your channel. Love it Mr. Forest. I’m a retired disabled garbage man living in Northern California. Watch CZcams all the time love the cat videos just came across yours. Awesome. I have a lot to catch up on. Thank you for your hard work you’re awesome. 💯🙏🇺🇸
Keep these videos up! I'm excited that you've joined the outdoor camping scene!
That was fun. I saw a few improvements to be had, but really excited for this journey. Thank you guys.
I have autism and i also do survival bushcraft in the woods 2 times a month. I would pay someone like you to do a few nights in the woods to do real survival camping plus i love nature and i absolutely love your video's. Keep up the great work you do . blessed be
@@Thom1973 you really are a weak minded individual - one is a former royal marine and the other- sorry what is he 😂
@@Te.legram_RyanForrest1 the army accepted me and i start training in a few months

@@poedgar3085 Wow, you’re great man
@@user-jq9ep8ci3y Yep... And the later used a gas powered snow dog in one of his videos and ran home the same night because the throttle cable.
Great video thumbs up from Australia 🦘👍
All i can say is, consistency is key and experience is everything. Keep it up brother.
Very well made video. Can appreciate the work gone into it considering I have been camping on Dartmoor twice and it can be harsh conditions. I am actually 16 almost 17 myself and am going to doing a army work experience for 4 days in Dartmoor so hopefully give me a insight into that life. Its a thumbs up from me
Love the video man, really can't wait for your next survival vid already, I recently found you're channel and have been really enjoying you're videos, I wish you all the best man.
I’ve been waiting for this video awesome video 🔥keep up the amazing work would love to see more of this in the future

i used to go out camping with my dad when i was about 10 to 12 years old, this makes me wanna go out camping again
Get amongst it man
Nice job on your first bushcraft video Ryan. Very enjoyable to watch. As veteran of the USN I would much rather support a veteran than a lawer!
Awesome job Ryan!! You definitely need to do this more. I really enjoyed it. You should react to videos while camping 😊
Badass new series. Looking forward to more. Keep it up, brother.
well done mate, loved every second of it. looking forward to seeing more.
Hey man, practice makes perfect and I will definitely be here to watch you on this journey. Hope this is the first of many of these kinds of videos.
Cheers from across the pond
Loved this video! Please keep them coming!!!
As someone who has just started doing wild camping but making my own shelters a good UK bushcraft survival series is perfect for you and for us looking forward to these and to learn because I am only a beginner 👍👊
Cool adventure man. Thanks for sharing it. 8)
Brill the reality of bush craft camping its not all roses and sunshine felt like I was watching me and my mates at the weekend keep it up fella and thanks
It helps to remove the bark off the kindling because its wet the wood under isn't wet. You can shave the wood under in little strips put somewhere close to body to dry with the heat from your body even more. If you do that before start sweeting the kindling will be dry before you get to camp. I also try to use pine tree wood it takes a flame easier. Great Video good to see you out enjoying the outdoors. Also green trees don't burn very well better to find dead. WTF you have camper van 🤦♂🤦♂😂😂
That tree was perfect.
Definitely
Hey, good job. You did the most important thing right. Never go into the mountains alone. Too many CZcams do this. No matter how good you are, 1 accident can end your life. Keep it up.
lets go!!!
Amazing stuff , congratulations on you’re first bushcraft video 🎉
I saw the scrape marks on that burger 😂
Great video.
letss goo! been waiting for this vid🔥
ryan discovered the new type of content that will make him tons of views and $ lol. shoutout to the outdoor boys
Well, I’m yet to see the views and ££ but I’m happy to try new content bro lol
🔥video brother!!!! Excited for the next one
Those woods look nice. Here in the northwest of Washington State our forests are so thick you can't travel without game trails through most areas. Even in the winter there is a ton of underbrush
I enjoyed this video very much. I see you left us with a couple of mysteries. What happened with the other channel? Whos the guest? Of course you are under no obligation to divulge any of that info. That said my favorite parts of this video is watching in real time someone strong and humble enough to not just sit on their credentials but try something out of their comfort zone. There is a lot of potential here in this series for not only that learning experience but to overcome challenges someone in the UK might have with trying to do this type of work. I see that you dont have an axe or bushcraft knife. Is that due to legal restrictions? If so thats what Im talking about. What is it like trying to do survival type camping there? Do you need permits? Fire restrictions? Location restrictions? If so you of all people could make that sort of education and demonstration entertaining. There is a lot of fertile content ground, challenges, and growth to be had. I look forward to whatever you chose to do but I humbly request you keep at least a little bit of your reaction content. Love the channel from the States.
good on you brother! excited to see all the adventures
Cheers really enjoyed that keep up the great work looking forward to the next one 👍👍
Im loving the outdoorboys camera transitions!! im sure we'll see him reacting to your bushcraft survival before too long xD
As a US vet, was employed with the US Forest Service (Wilderness) in Utah, and a current alpine wetland ecology student, the best applicable lesson that crossed over from the military to any sort of backcountry endeavor regardless if it's work, hiking, hunting, backpacking, or bushcraft is "slow is smooth, smooth is fast." Love seeing you guys manage energy expenditure in that way! So many times I've seen people burn out or become overwhelmed by rushing whatever they're doing out in the bush. This was really great guys! Just a suggestion, next time bring a really sharp hatchet, it might be a little more weight to carry but, for me it makes collecting firewood much easier and quicker than a foldable handsaw.
Really like the aspect of u speaking about the SERE stuff from the service, very similar to the one in the Swedish military SERE school. Keep it up!
I can't wait til the next video.
Great vid fella smashed it 🎉
Keep them coming! Definitely enjoy the content.
Looks like a beautiful place. I wanted to camp by the stream. Thanks Ryan
Love this !
Yes mate loving this video hopefully you can do a few more like this 💪
Overall, enjoyed it. I really like the reaction videos but its nice to see a video of you doing something for a change. Cooking burgers over a fire, a man after my own heart!
Can’t beat them mate 👍🏻
Brilliant video very interesting thank you .uk.
lets go! im exited for this
Great camera work, I see where you get the inspiration from! ;) Keep it up!
Good for you! Waiting for that Scotland trip! If you ever make it to the states, Utah and Colorado are fantastic places for every type of terrain you could imagine. From high snowy mountains to extreme desert.
One little detail. I was always taught to NOT sleep in the clothes you wore all day. The reason - you sweat all day in those clothes. When the temp drops, all that sweat will chill and wick heat from your body. It is better to change clothes at night and sleep in something dry.
Good luck on your new adventure. B
inspired
💪🏼
Awesome video love the new type of content!!
Great trekking through the forest. The climbs were different from the usual videos people post of just driving up or taking a hike. Luke at The Outdoor Boys does something unique with his skiing. Great idea to rethink the approach to the campsite.
Great work! Much respect
i think in future you are probably best preparing for the worst case scenario rather than the best case, you can always open a bag thats too warm but a bag thats too thin in the cold will be miserable.
Looking forward ti this
great video keep it up love watching these so much better then outdoor boys
such a great video mate keep this up along with the reactions love the content
Like the new series! Solid content!
quite enjoyable, a bit long but nice content, i liked the fact that you showed how it is like to be in a forest mosly as a newbie-intermidiate camper (after a while like you said we forget stuff or get the bag we have at home into conditions that is not ment for or something goes wrong) unlike most other campers that know exactly more or less what they are doing like the outdor boys, liked that keep going mate waiting on the next one
