Iran is like a bully who picks fight with smaller people but whenever it seems like they'll get beat they'll call for there bigger buddies (Russia and China) for backup. There's a reason they use proxies instead of direct conflicts

Americans are tired of paying for foreign wars. One party cannot run on immigration - they know they've lost that argument. However, Trump is pro-Israel. He has told Israel they need to finish their war already, with Iran entering, this could force him to run on a war campaign. 1) he'll either fun their war, which Americans are tired of or 2) he'll potentially send military aid or even maybe military intervention. Regardless, this puts him in an awkward position no matter what.

war is so complex, innocent people on both sides are hurt. thats why i believe there shouldnt be 'sides'. its not a game. i know an israeli and before the war she would be getting bombed by hamas, and now people say its deserved. how can you expect humanity when you cant even show humanity yourself? i stand by my countrys choice (US), but that doesnt mean i have to say everything bad that happens to the civilians on the enemy side is good. war is just terrible.
Post WWII the West had adopted a view that war can be waged in a civilized manner. Unfortunately those who don't adopt western idology still use the old ways. That's why Vietnam and Afghanistan are the way they are.

The desolation spoken of here isn't physical but spiritual. See Daniel 11:31, Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15
