Civ Div is a beast. He's got a bunch of vids that are worth your time. Also, mate, Garand Thumb did a whole vid on the SA80, you've gotta see it. Also notice how long he had the safety off while sitting there, he was ready to rock.
Appreciate that your reaction videos contain real world knowledge and you point out things to explain from real world interaction and knowledge on the subject.
"Comrade... why are the buildings speaking English?"
"I guess that's means we're all gonna die, if only there are jungles speaking Vietnamese to run to"
Part 2 mate! Part 2 gets crazy and close up fighting 1-3 meters away! Do part 3 :D I love ur videos mate !
The viewpoint of those thst met face to face with the Russians is on his channel too it’s wild! He’s standing literally under the window and a Russian fires out the window at him but couldn’t get the angle downward when he hugged the wall. It’s insane
When was this in the video?
@@88balloonsonthewall70 it's in the next video uploaded by CivDiv.
the next part of the video is crazy compared to this one
Nice watching some CivDiv…. The next video is better hopefully you watch it…. Merry Christmas
Read my comment. I've seen the video of what happened and I explained how it all ended.
Spetsnaz encompasses a large organization of units who’s operators perform many vastly different roles. There are spetsnaz teams for national guard, intelligence, anti terror, protection of diplomats abroad, army special forces etc… in this particular conflict SOBR units (Russian special police) are often sent to the front and labeled spetsnaz when their specialty is dealing with criminals not soldiers. I say this because Ukrainians likely never know which spetsnaz unit they are dealing with… for example this could be a national guard unit, they did have the determination to fight to the last man, but had these soldiers come into contact with units of GRU, Alpha Group or Vympel for example… units with far superior training and access to expensive and specialized equipment even beyond that of a regular spetsnaz unit things might have gone much differently.
Also could mean that the Russian units don't even know what they getting either...shoddy organization.
@@ScarriorIII Sounds like you are really experienced with fighting Russian Spetznaz
Love your videos. Merry Christmas sir.
Good explanation on the finer details.
Thanks Ryan this is amaizing information on top of a stupendous movement.
Thanks!
Intense video again Mr. Forrest!
None of the Russians killed in the video were Spetznaz, they were 3rd army corps volunteers, it was claimed they were Spetznaz after one of the U.S. volunteers saw them wearing Atacs-fg and using an AK-12 and having a medkit, that’s literally it lol
where did you get this information from? it could be excuses from the russian side or like you said a possible assumption on the ukranian side
@@lardmandan the soldiers were identified from their bmp-2, the BMP belonged to the 3rd army corps, Spetznaz btw don’t ever use bmps, the area they were at and the date was also where 3rd army corps operated the most in Kharkov. The names of each of the soldiers was identified. Both Civ Div and a Finnish Mercenary said the Russians were Spetznaz because of their nice kit and ak-12, which is strange because first of all half the Russian military has AK-12s and secondly the 3rd army corps for example (just search on google images) uses cooler looking kit like combat attire and AK-12s not to mention, the Finnish mercenary himself said “these russians had molle pockets and ak12s and surprisingly cool clothes on” but they were absolutely not Spetznaz. Also the same Finnish mercenary made a whole thread on the incident, he said that one of the Americans that can be seen in the video executed the Russian officer who came to surrender walking outside, he was shot in the head and the American soldier said “f - that guy”. Also 2 of these foreign volunteers including their team leader from Ireland was killed in this battle, and everyone receiving serious wounds of various degrees
We need part 2 of this ! Civ Div got the second part!
thanks CivDiv and everybody else!!
absolutely love to see your reaction and hear your personal perspectives!!!!! keep on keeping on Mr Forrest!
Is there a link to the other video?? Also, Merry Christmas Eve, Brother. Semper Fi
go to Civ Div page, I believe it's this - "Combat GoPro - Wiping Out Russian Spetsnaz Team in CQB" (intense and deadly) : these also i think are from same Kharkiv counteroffensive----- "Kharkiv counter offensiveCombat GoPro - Recon into Russian Position" ; "Combat GoPro of Foreign Fighter Destroying Russian BMP" ; - I watched them so long ago can't remember what is in each one, maybe some overlap or duplicate , not sure....
This is footage from earlier in the war, just to make awareness of that.
Merry Christmas mate
Last time I saw this channel it was the “Gen Dit Commando” I think. Bro you look like you should still be serving. In a good way. Lol
5:04 Direction and Distance, Gentlemen!
Anyone else noticed that selector switch went from semi to burst the moment he was facing that building?
Love my DD quad rail 😂
Every male member of my family / extended family all had / has to serve in the US Navy after undergrad / grad / post grad (we participated in every war our nation ever fought since WWII as Navy fighter pilots) for at least one tour of duty ..., it's my turn now so I will be accepting a commission upon finishing my residency in medicine as a Navy surgeon, hopefully I will be able to either embedded with the Marines or as a flight surgeon on one of our flattops.
Love your channel. keep up with the great work!
BRILLIANT VIDEO KEEP THEM COMEING AND HAVE A NICE XMAS SCOTTY FROM 🇬🇧 ENGLAND 🇬🇧
Nice i love go pro footage brother
Ryan, I have been watching you for over 2 years now and somehow missed your reaction to Pat Tillmans death from two years ago until today. I just got done watching it and posted a reply giving a shortened explanation of what I listened to on another CZcams channel. I decided to come to your this video as well since it isnt 2 years old in hopes that you see this message.
If you havent watched it I recommend you watch the interview of Pete Blaber on the Combat Story CZcams channel. Pete investigated this incident at the Request of Pat's mother and goes into detail of what he uncovered in a 2 plus hour interview. I wouldn't recommend this as a reaction video because of the length but thought you might find it interesting and tragic at the same time.
As a former US Army Paratrooper with a family history of military service I watch alot of military related content and am in no way afiliated with the Combat Story channel or any other. I just think that a lot of the Combat Story material is fascinating and think you might also; since this channel interviews many former Spec Ops personnel to get their stories about their down range experiences.
Hey mate.. Still waiting for part 2 ! :D Have u forgotn about it ? U did part 1, it's time for part 2
Thanks
Merry Christmas to all the brothers across the pond.
8:38 As long as they're maintaining security, and they treat the street crossing as a danger area...linear or otherwise...😮
Love your work mate
If you check the description on the original channel, it states that the uploader wasn't the soldier that recorded the footage. It states that not longer after this video, he was unfortunate and suffered a serious spinal injury but recovered and returned to service months later. As somebody else stated as well, that a lot of the squad were also injured or KIA.
It seems that the group of Spetsnaz were more of a threat than it appears in this video. It may have been their intention to stay inside and to lure as many soldiers to the building as possible. The Russian military are not above abandoning a squad and then calling an artillery strike on them. Perhaps the BMP was leaving to regroup with reinforcements or to rearm it's weapons, and it came back as they were surrounding the infantry were caught by surprise.
Sir, I watched the original videos after they came out. This was September 2022. These weren't Spetsnaz. They were just BMP crewmen. Spetsnaz don't operate BMPs. That would be like putting Rangers in Bradleys. I posted a comment giving the rundown on what happened next.
They were hit by a mortar
14:36 Yessir. I noticed some blurred-out spots, too, so that should help them...at least with This video...lol
2:23 Yeah, Brother, but...They're all kinda the same, YKWIM?
YKWIM.
Merry Christmas!
O an skipping a corner, you ever heard of fatigue? It happens... training training training but when new people are thrown together, well !
Merry Christmas to you and your family Ryan..
Thanks
This is not special forces, this is the crew of a damaged infantry fighting vehicle
I'm definitely no expert, but it seemed like they were just too small of a unit for what they were trying to accomplish. The guy we were watching is trying to cover the leakers himself, but there's no cover and two windows pointed directly at him where he can see absolutely nothing inside. He effectively flanked himself as I can tell. I did like when he fell back a little and laid down and focused more on the window to try to protect himself a little, but he was still in a very vulnerable position with basically no cover.
Basically a bunch of volunteers with varying degrees of experience and language barriers with a mismatch of equipment and weapons smash a supposed SF unit from Russia. My question is how did a SF unit allow themselves to get cornered in a building like that? It doesn't bode well with the reputation that Spetnaz are supposed to have, does it?
The soldier from the POV has great fire discipline.
The dude clearing the room probably did check all corners you just dont see his camera pointing towards every single corner
Do you have the next video available?
16:48 Yup...Qnd; Don't give up real estate that you've already cleared...if at all possible.
This group of lads actually killed a group of spetznaz the one filming with go pro hes been injured twice
7:10 Abso-f'n-Lutely, Brother.
I've heard the name "Jabroni" a few times in different videos
The US armed forces are training in the Philippines currently. You should react to some videos of US Philippines 2 week training.
You got to give us a reaction to Grand Thumb who is a former United States interdiction in the Navy Seals
This lot could be heard for miles! Stealth isnt their strongest point then?
I also wiuld almost assume that you can train train n train but you guys teally must have quick thinking in hectic situations
SO when u going to get a boxing match going. Havent heard you talk about it in a while.
Sir, what happened to part 2?
You should react to "French Commando Helicopter Rescue in Mali "
He said clear, more doors… use your ears
Nice one bootneck .from an ex fallin plate 👍
What's with constantly switching the picture between color and B&W?? People typically do the B&W thing to accentuate specific moments, not just randomly throughout general commentary.
I believe is footage from CivDiv
Yes jabroni and this group have caused some chaos over there
All I seen was a empty building
You are absolutely correct when that soldier called that room clear and didn’t actually check it he potentially just killed his whole team, & jeopardize the mission, which could snowball into countless lives lost. Just that simple thing has huge consequences, that is why SF, Seals, Rangers, Marines, & Commandos have such a high drop out rate. They have to know they can trust every single guy to do the job 100% correctly 100% of the time. Trust that every man Will clear that room properly, so when they say clear everyone else knows for a fact it truly is clear. This is a game of life and death and the best prepared mentally will win. Also it looks like he didn’t clear the left corner in the main room before going to the second door and calling clear without actually going in. The first guy pied off 75% of the room before going in but that last 25% needed to be cleared by man 2 before going to door two. That’s two areas that one soldier was responsible for that he dropped the ball on. He needs more training
"Comrade... why are the buildings speaking English?"
"I guess that's means we're all gonna die, if only there are jungles speaking Vietnamese to run to"
question: how do they know anyone was in the blgd?
You should do a video of the green berets in Mac V SOG during the Vietnam War. Jocko podcast 180, 181, and 182 has amazing stories from John Stryker Meyer. They did some amazing missions in cooperation with the CIA in Laos and Cambodia.
We're is part two? Anybody know.
Hello, not related to this video but would love a reaction video from to the recent podcast on FORCESTV about future of the Royal Marines and also reaction video with regards to future of HMS ALBION & HMS BULWICK 🫡 🇬🇧
Ive seen that full Version Video 1 week berfore this 1 , so , i watch and dident tell somthing , only 1 its intresting !!!!!
happens all the time because some f's up
that pkp opening up is scary asf
Im curious how did they know it was spetsnaz?
I followed the links and found out what really happened that day.
Almost everyone in this video had an unhappy ending.
All the blurred faces are those who were either injured or killed an hour later.
Good job detective you can click on some links, you act like it was secret information 😂
@@thesincereone2886
Actually no.
I act like it's just information that's in public. Information that wasn't shared in this video.
Hence the words "I followed the links and found out what really happened that day".
Perhaps you should bother someone else with your keyboard thumping.
I'd love to see your reaction to CZcamsr The Fat Electrician, especially my favorite video, about the USS O'Bannon.
Surrownded? How did you get that gem through spell check?
😂 true
yo please watch the Training course for Danish Frog men
The guys that civ div knows from the usa
Spetznas probably wondering why yanks rolling up on them 😂
don't worry, soon you will wonder why the Russians destroyed your countries so quickly, why they lied to you all the time about the real strength of the Russians
If you look at my earlier comment, it explains that they didn't run into Spetsnaz. They got demoralized by BMP crewmembers. There was only 3 of them.
how do we know those guys in the building were Spetsnaz?? because these guys said so?? interesting.
Persumably based on investigating their bodies
Besides not checking the corners of the room, neither of the soldiers checked the entrances to the traps. They entered the building as if entering a store. The Russian army uses several models of landmines and traps with grenades. Furthermore, they moved around the building badly, looking for threats from the surrounding area but not for threats from the building.
Who exactly identified them as spatznaz?
HMS BULWARK*
I heard from a couple different sources that the Russians over there when Americans or British are talking in English they damn near shit themselves because they know that some way probably knows combat a lot better than them😂
Americans and NATO have no combat experience. you will soon see in a real war how much better the Russians are. The USA and NATO have never fought, while the Russians have constantly fought throughout their history.
"Comrade... why are the buildings speaking English?"
"I guess that's means we're all gonna die, if only there are jungles speaking Vietnamese to run to"
Aah no wonder cus that was the whole plan of the UA counteroffensive, the Russians would simply see the Leopards etc and run away...a soldier in the 47th Brigade that was annilhated stated this...yeah that went well
This video is from last year, now, in the legion, we have extensive training in every AT weapon we carry.. This year march 2023, I spent a huge chunk of time learning 6 different launcher systems.
And most of the dudes in this video are ex military, most of the lunatics that come with no experience leave pretty quickly.
4 are ex us military
If you miss the corner you MIGHT NOT miss the next one. That is a HARD lesson to learn, especially when people are scared and on their last leg they are looking for one last person to frag....SO YOU MUST CLEAR ALL THE CORNERS. These guys know this isn't a video game.
Piggybacking off other videos is so low rent!
Mashallah bless you my muslim brother.
One thing I have noticed recently. Is the lack of new footage, featuring foreign fighters
Maybe because Ukraine keeps fragging them for equipment
Always a yank called Jabrony!🤣🤣
Momentum - "Slow is fast, fast is slow", "Fast is slow" is what will get you killed when clearing buildings.
I saw this same video many months ago (maybe early to mid summer) either on Reddit or on Funker530 channel (can't recall). Russia has a long history of overexaggerating the capabilities of its military (MiG-25 Foxbat, SU-57, T-14 Armada, Terminator, etc.). As far as I've have seen, following the war in Ukraine, it appears the Russian Spetsnaz falls into the same overhyped category. Their so-called "special operations" forces have repeatedly been outclassed by regular Ukrainian militia, as was proven during the battles at the Irpin Bridge, battle for Kharkiv, south Mariupol and in the eastern Donbas region. They even lost a Spetsnaz brigade commander in Vuhledar. The 346th Spetsnaz lost nearly the entire brigade with only 125 personnel active out of 900 deployed. As far as I have seen during the war in Ukraine, the entire Russian military machine is a disorganized, rag-tag, motley crew and tiger that looks formidable only on paper (i.e., a paper tiger🤭). But what do I know? I've only been paying attention since the 1970s.😉 Peace Ryan🕊, and a Merry Christmas to you and your family.🎄👍
Yet its exactly those sorta things Ukrainians hate people saying because it is simply not true, yes they make mistakes, yes they have some pretty sub par soldiering etc but there is also some very capable soldiers too. The same applies to the Ukrainians. Its just we in the west only ever get one side of the narrative constantly
@willknowler8194 Oh really? So you've taken it upon yourself to speak for all Ukrainians? In fact, what I said is precisely true! All of it is readily available on the internet, and NOT just from "Western" news outlets. Why don't you help yourself to this easily available information? Spetsnaz has had a very difficult time in Ukraine with many of their units being haphazardly thrown in with regular Russian infantry.
The Russian Spetsnaz had their heads handed to them by the Ukrainians during the battle of the Irpin Bridge. Next time, try some fact checking before you reply. The Ukrainian military is a much tougher, more disciplined and better organized fighting force than the best that Russia can offer. 😄
@@beesnestna9544 I've read countless articles of Ukrainians openly stating for example in this summer offensive that there plan stood on the russians running away when they saw Leopards etc. Doesn't sound so high and mighty. The awful decision to keep defending Bakhmut, the plan to head straight at Russian lines with no air cover wasting valuable equipment, evidence og mobiks getting barely a months training in Nato countries. Yes the Ukrainian army was in 2022 much better but on a soldiering level the difference now is really nothing at all.
@willknowler8194 What are you, like 12 years old or something? Or perhaps you're just another Russian disinformation troll?😆 The Ukrainians never built their offensives upon the premise that Russian forces will run away.🤣 How do you come up with these crazy fantasies? Try reading some intelligence reports from the British Ministry of Defense, the Institute for the Study of War or the Pentagon and then weigh that information against western news media reports. It's not Rocket Science.😄 Are you even out of Russian high school yet, with the way you reason and communicate?🤭 I realize that Putin hides the truth from you but you can still use a VPN to get around all the information controls that Russia has imposed.😉
Good comentary for a cabbage-head. 🤭😘
Merry Christmas and may The Lord Jesus/Yeshua bless you all.
Merry Christmas!

My understanding with Russians they do not come anywhere close to USA, UK NATO top tier 1 and tier 2 spec forces
Well, when was the last time USA, UK or NATO fought a professional military with a comparable army? Answer: WW2. I compiled what happened next in the incident. These mercenaries are wanted for war crimes and there is a bounty by a Russian businessman on all of their heads. To give you an even condense version of the aftermath, they tried to get the Russian soldiers (they were BMP operators, not Spetsnaz) to surrender. One came out with his hands up, unarmed. American mercenary and former Kansas City, Missouri policeman Jay Blake (who they called "Jabroni") executed him. Thats a war crime. As a result, the remaining crew members rained hell on the platoon, wounding 8 and killing two (an Irishman and an American). After the fight, almost everybody you saw in this video reportedly ended their contracts and fled Ukraine. The guy with the red beard (Joshua Lopez) got seriously injured and had surgery on his stomach. He returned in February 2023. The guy that threw the grenade in the BMP is a Japanese guy named Ren Takeda. He's still there reportedly. Overall, all survivors within this group has a bounty on their head.
Listen Bryan, i really got the idea That these guys are on "active war holiday" maybe im wrong but there is so much difference between them and the guys fighting in the tranches. They try to look good in their outfits. Where are these spetnats?
For all you LARPers in the comment section, the guys in the video made no contact with Spetsnaz. There is two videos linked to this incident. In on video, the Russian BMP they were talking about got disabled from a rocket, so the crew ran into the house for safety. The other video is of this mercenary team surrounding the building. When I kept hearing the name "Jabroni," I remembered what information I came across a few weeks earlier and dug it up. This is what happened later on this GoPro:
This happened in September 2022. They surrounded the Russian crew members in the building. They (mercenaries) negotiated for the Russian crew members to surrender. But when one crew member came out the front door with his hands up, American Jay Blake, a former Kansas City, Missouri policeman under no direction, shot the surrendering Russian in the head. This prompted the remaining Russian crew members to fight back.
The fight carried on with the surviving crew members keeping the mercenaries outside of the house. The mercenaries shot through the windows and tossed in grenades, but none were hitting their mark. They attempted to storm the house, but was immediately met with fire, wounding one and killing another. In the end, presumably due to running out of ammo, the Russian crew members fragged themselves to avoid capture (a common occurrence). The end result was 2 mercenaries KIA and 8 others wounded.
The story doesn't end there. All the mercenaries blame Jay Blake ("Jabroni") for how it all needlessly went down. And from the non-Americans among them, they blame the Americans for being hopped up on testosterone. Among the dead as stated by Riku Arima (Finnish with artillery experience) from this incident was Rory Mason (Irish). He had no military experience. At the 6:00 mark, you can hear the pointman call Rory's name "Hey Rory! We're pushing in here!" The other who died was Steven Keith Munroe (USA with less than a year of French Foreign Legion experience). He was shot in the head, medivac'd out of the area, but later died in a hospital.
As stated by the Riku Arima, “those who were not injured immediately terminated the contract because they did not want to die." Ren Tanaka (Japan with military experience) is the individual who threw the grenade into the BMP. Joshua Lopez (USA "red beard"). Both are still in Ukraine (Lopez left, then returned in February 2023). Overall, the surviving Russian crew members gave so much hell that they made almost an entire platoon (Bravo-3) quit after their death. There are more details about the individuals (like how Lopez is somehow into gay porn posing as a US Marine and how Takeda and other Japanese mercs are being deemed Russian spies for posting too much info). In the end, there is a bounty on all of their heads by a Russian businessman for their participation in the Battle of Petropavlovka,.
Thanks man for the info,i knew these channels always lie
@@ordinaryAussie No prob. A lot of these channels are just fluff to give a false perception of what's really going on. Russia has been eliminating mercenaries wholesale, which is why the media stopped talking about them. Plus there are even bigger problems the media wont highlight. I've seen a video where some mercs were in a fighting position arguing with Ukrainian soldiers who were demoralized to fight. So two mercs left the improvised shelter and fragged the guys. Then there was another incident where a pair of british mercs were trying to tell a pair of Ukrainian soldiers to go back to the front and fight. The Ukrainian soldiers capped them both up close. And if you try to retreat, it doesn't matter if you're a Ukrainian or not. You will get capped if you're around the wrong people. That's why the media wont talk about it. They know, but it's too much of an embarrassment for Biden.
It's funny how people think that this is real.
