If you haven't bought already, you might hold off a little bit. It looks like the Delta jacket will be getting revamped this year. I'm not sure what changes there will be, but it'll either be better and worth the changes. Or you'll be able to get an older version on sale for much cheaper.

So should I wait a little longer for deeper discount? I won't be able to afford $400 for the new version, gotta buy two one for wife and myself.

$250 is a good price. You likely won’t see discounts much lower than that until places are trying to get rid of the very last stock they have, and it’ll likely be very limited size options at that point.

I was at a gun show over the weekend and they had some brand new Remington pump action 12ga 870 Field Masters and I was amazed at the quality! Much better than the Express! If the Field Master is that good, I can't wait to see the new Wing Masters! I am told that the new head of Remington is absolutely dedicated to quality! It looks like Remington is poised to reclaim it's position in the firearms world!!!

If you are looking for sizing, I would go more off of your weight rather than height. I was very skinny at the time, and could wear a small. I've since added weight, and wear a medium and could maybe even fit a large.

Would definitely not say it is baggy. All of Sitka's stuff is meant to be more fitted or streamlined. The delta is meant to be able to wear layers underneath it, so the fit may be slightly more roomy than some of the mid layer jackets they offer. The delta does run pretty short though. Mine basically hits right at my belt line.

I'm still alive! Life just makes it hard to invest the time required. I miss making the videos, but with the last few seasons being pretty rough for waterfowl hunting for us, it took the enjoyment out of hunting. Days when I would be content just being out enjoying the outdoors, turned into just always being frustrated because I couldn't get good content for videos. Needed to get back to enjoying the experience regardless of the outcome of the hunt.

@@DrakeValleyOutdoors i live in vermont (alantic flyway) and the hunting is terrible 😂 i scout and drive around the whole state theres just not a lot of birds. Thousands of golden eyes and bluebills but you can only shoot one bluebill and diver hunting is fun but they dont taste good. I totally understand!

What swivels did you get? Are #6 the best size?

How did you like the stick weights instead of egg sinkers or the other ones?

You can certainly set it up that way if that is your preference. It works and saves the cost of the swivel. As I mentioned in the video, I had done it like that the year prior, the reason I switched is because the line does not always slide through the decoy smoothly, especially with decoys that are a softer, more rubber like plastic. We'd throw out decoys, and the weight wouldn't drop because the line would stick trying to slide through the decoy and the decoy would end up floating away. So the line slides through the metal swivel way better, and then you have the added bonus that you can move your rigs to other decoys without needing to cut and re-crimp the lines.

These are just regular sizing. The fit of them is a little on the slim side, as I'm really skinny and they aren't all that baggy on me. Height wise, I'm 5'10" and had some trouble getting the shoulder straps tight enough for me. So I'd say they are actually a little on the taller side.

I haven't had the problem with my cam pin just yet, but my cousin had that issue two seasons ago. He was able to file down and smooth out a burr that had developed and then it started working good as new.

Depends on the walk distance and if I’m walking on dry ground, or through a marsh. Either a decoy sled, or I just hold the carabiner and sling them over my shoulder.

It will run off a 10-30v power source. It does come with the power and ground ran, as well as a rocker switch but you will have to do some wiring to get it hooked up to a power source.

#6 is the size I use. Be careful, some of the different brands are sized differently, even when the numbers are the same. #6 size in the link provided in the description is what I use.

Yeah I believe around the time of making this video, or shortly after, they stopped making them. I just don't think there was much of a market for them.

I have not tried many of the Flambeau decoys, but I have came across some. The thing I don't like about the ones I've seen is how hard and brittle feeling the plastic is. They just don't feel like they'd last. I'm on my 4th season with the Hot Buys and they still look great. I only lost one decoy so far, from trying to throw it to hard with a texas rig, and it broke the hole. I repaired it and it's still hanging in there.
