Wow, I am all caught up and should be able to catch the stream on Sunday. What kind of band is your wife in? My daughter was in a concert band in college and a friend of ours is in a community band that does parades and charity events. And years ago my husbands cousin was in a rock and roll band that played at local bars and the like.

While i too dont like the "reach" change, it does make sense... if you think about the fact that one block is 1 meter (approx 3ft) then its bizzare as hell that we used to be able to reach over 6feet away with our max 3foot long arms all while staying stood up straight and not leaning over at the waist to reach further.. xD

I agree that REMOVING map markers is far better than changing their color to black or something else to denote "empty/looted". The only time i have been turning a marker Black is if its a ruin of sorts with Clutter still available for gluing and collecting that i want for later on. Markers for things such as ore deposits, veg and fruits get completely removed once collected as there is no need to remember where an empty hole/field is.

I keep misreading that Omen-class TSS Kardashevian as the TSS Kardashian. I don't even keep up with that aspect of pop culture. rewatching these as company while i play, its early fall for my seraph and im meandering around the late bronze age comfortably, finished my permanent house, got my first generations of animals born... trying and failing to milk my wild ewe lol. found some iron but not feeling pressed to mess with them yet. these vids get me through the clayforming of many many crocks for my winter larder... sooo much jam.

Helve Hammer Head Molds... why? Why does this even exist, seriously why? I have always just smithed mine because by the time you can run an H.H. you inevitably have the ability to hand smith and most likely at or very close to Iron, which you cant cast in a mold, so like seriously whats the point of using a mold when it cant be used for the 3 best hammer heads.. just take the 30sec to smith it by hand lol. And on top of it all it costs 50% more to cast in a mold for some reason... sooo why is it a thing?!

Talking about barrels, washes and tannins... "theres got to be an easier way". There is in fact an easier way, although its totally not what you would think, it actually has nothing to do with taking out little bits of water at a time... "Overflow Supply Barrels"... ive been keeping 1 extra barrel per resource (dilute lime, dilute borax, tannin, etc) JUST for the "little extra" that gets leftover after almost every recipe finishes its production time. So if you want to have say 3 barrels for lime wash/borax wash then you would actually use 4 barrels, 3 for actual production and the 4th for "overflow". You would then just always make full barrels (50L) of xyz liquid and after later production when some is left it simply goes in the "overflow supply barrel" until it is full then you would transfer the full contents over to the production barrels for futher production. This may seem like a waste of valuable space and production capability but its helped me out greatly as i no longer have to pull 1L at a time all finicky like nor grab the small remainder and just dump it out on the ground. Personally ive found this extra overflow space to be fantastic, those 3L and 1L leftovers add up over time.

Besides the "cows" from the medieval expansion mod, Gazelle are AMAZING!!! Imo hands down the BEST animal to farm for meat and fat. You get like 12-16 meat from adults and like 10-14 from the babies, totally miles above any other animal out there especially considering the babies yield soooo much. Ive got a nice desert near my current base that has a TON of Gazelle spawn. I spent like 35-45min hunting Gazelle, lost like 18 tin bronze arrows from breakage but walked home with a FAT STACK of meat, well ok more like 9 stacks and 28 meat as well as almost 2 full stacks of fat, i think i was like 6 or 7 fat from the 2nd full stack. Gazelle are crazy awesome!

It's been a real hot minute since the last starsector series ended. I think I'm going to miss the big fleet rolling down the enemies like they're a block of silken tofu. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Captain KuraBee and the Tryhard Squad in action.

If you used those quarry plugs to dig out huge chunks of ore, could you process it back at base like normal? I got the impression you could pick the appropriate chisel to break it down whichever way you want, would that work?

If you want an extra crop you could have Aloe Vera and use it for loads of things, including healing poultices and the like.

Did you confirm for science that either you cannot tame another mount while you have one, or that if you tame another mount the first one gets released? It would be fairly awesome to fly around the place on a hornet while a ladybird trundles after you on the ground carrying your supplies 😲 It would be hilarious to have a train of ladybirds following you carrying huge amounts of loot 🤣

This is such a legendary episode. Not just for the bountiful loot, but also for the rare occasion where we can hear the sound of brown pants being made.

It is fun watching you outfit ships because I don't build ships like you do. Unless i am making a missile boat my lode-out is salamanders and pilums and the rest beams because an all tac laser afflictor are funny

Whoa, the temporal storm looks much scarier on the episodes than the stream. I guess constant, higher resolution does have an effect after all. Anyways, I'm glad to see the channel growing well. It's always interesting and fun to watch branching discussions about random topics as well as the occasional dad jokes during your streams. I hope you get to grow to become one of those channels that could drop irregular bombshell videos once or twice a year and still rakes in billions of views. And by could, I really, REALLY don't mean that you should.

was this experiment done with 9 day months? If so then that means that it takes an extra half a month to grow with medium fert. That is actually kinda rough. Two harvests would add up to a whole extra month being necessary (assuming you use different nutrients in succession).

Sad I missed the stream again, but we had a massive party (almost 20 people!) that I've spent the last two days helping prep for. Gotta love Americans and their 4th of July celebrations. The dog, I am happy to report, is doing well! Bagel didn't particularly like the fireworks but he was very well-behaved with all the strangers that showed up. Poor guy is exhausted, sprawled on my bedroom floor and dead to the world. I'm gonna circle back around to this comment as I watch the VOD and leave my two cents here.
