  • Vintage Story Desert Life is a desert-themed survival playthough in version 1.19, with a large list of mods to speed up the process of building and chiseling. While our builds will all (or at least mostly) be in the desert, we are not restricted to hot and arid climates for the purposes of gathering materials and resources.
This series exists as a series of VODs, as well, but for people who prefer their videos in a more manageable length, the VODs will be cut into these shorter episodes and released throughout the week after each livestream, provided that there is enough desire for this format.
Want to play along? You'll need the world files and all of these mods (likely) in order for it to work. Download links below.

I'm very interested in this. Great video.
What would u say is the reason someone would want to play this over minecraft?

Glad it caught your eye. I'd say that if you enjoy that other block game but want something with a more mature, realistic feeling, where your daily farming and ranching and sewing actually matter, then this is the game for you. It's got a fair bit of extra challenge and realism without some of the really grindy bits of TerraFirmaCraft.

Question if I place farm soil over a water block will that count ? 😊

Thats a good question. I would assume no because i think a block filled with water isnt a real “block”, and i also think farmsoil registers only its sides and not under

The other person who replied has it right! Farm blocks only look for water horizontally, not vertically.
