There’s a major aspect of the story that wasn’t really touched on here. The big legal issue (the reason Ned was fired and scrubbed) was that Ned was her boss. Morality and friendships involved aside, he put the entire company in jeopardy by having an affair with his employee, she could have sued and they wouldn’t have a leg to stand on in court.

Her comment about male suicide is misleading too… perhaps 80% of suicide attempts that result in death are committed by men (because statistically in America at least men tend to use firearms whereas women tend to use poisons or attempt to OD). That suicide percentage she quotes though is inaccurate and attempts is a more representative number… Great vid as always though TRO. Keep it up. Your research methodology and approaches are things I admire as someone who spent 10 years teaching research methodology and persuasion and argumentation at university.

He walked the fine line, often on one foot, never stumbling into poor taste. 4. He never resorted to mocking someone to increase laughs. 5. Many of us will always miss Craig, especially when 12:35 AM approaches. Craig has no 'flaws', what is a more appropriate word?

I think the difference is that now you're plugged into your celebrities instead of being required to wait for that interview to come on television at the end of the week with your favorite celebrity you can now just find their twitter feed and see what they're saying on a day to day basis. It's not that the celebrities "aren't as interesting". It's that they're more accessible thus people have found out that celebrities are just as boring as everyone else is and just as normal as everyone else is. Expectations vs. Reality. Some people's expectations of what "celebrities" & their livestyles are like have come crashing down when you have a celebrity complaining about changing diapers or buying groceries or 16 hour work days.

The corporations don't understand that young people do not watch television and haven't for about a decade now. I wish some television networks would understand that they should have their whole episodes accessible on CZcams. I'd love to have full episodes of "The Graham Norton Show" to watch on CZcams (even as an American...I love that show and its premise). Television networks need to start putting some of their WHOLE episodes online. At least, add the back catalogue of episodes for shows like "The Daily Show" and now even the show that Corden had. They could still make money by adding those FULL episodes to their CZcams channel even though the show itself was cancelled.

I had actually seen him in some interviews about things (where he wasn't the focus) and he seemed like a likeable guy in those segments. He seemed like a likeable guy in the segment where he introduced himself. However, I think he let his fame get to his head and he stopped being that likeable guy. Whether it was the fame, or whether he was always pretending to be someone, I don't really care. I never really liked him but I could see his appeal to some of his audience. He never has to work again with the money he made. If he does go back to acting, maybe he should stop taking the roles where he's that loud, obnoxious jerk of a man and just play a kind, solemn person to see if he can do that.

You know...had they (him and the corporation) been honest about why they had chosen him and that it was to gain an online audience. That may have cleared up a few things, especially for those of us who kept asking ourselves "why him". What made him unappealing to me was the fact that Hollywood (either him or his agency) kept trying to shove him into every movie and I totally got so tired of him. There were times that I didn't know he was in a movie and would turn it off once he came on the screen because every character he played in every movie (at least here in the USA) was EXACTLY the same. It didn't matter what movie it was HIS character was the exact same as it was in every other movie he was in. Loud and obnoxious.
