- Intro:
At one point, I had also planned to make this a kinda “New Year’s” thing, but knowing how long these videos take I think there’s a reasonable chance that it’s closer to next year by the time this video’s out. That is of course a hilarious joke, though you may have believed it regardless. Obviously this is a minor instalment in the TRO catalogue, but I still think it’s a necessary one. As implied in the title, there will be a Q&A that will hopefully provide you a little more insight on the man behind the avatar, I also have a fair few announcements to make, but first of all, I would love to spend some time thanking those who have helped me on this rather chaotic journey.
The main party who have probably played the most prominent part in the advancement, are of course, the editors. Now, as you probably know, I have a fair few editors, so I’ll be leaving them all in the pinned comment, however, I do want to give a few special mentions to individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in the past few months in particular. It’s hard to know exactly who to start with but I’d like to mention Peter Day, he has worked around the clock with some of the toughest edits and post-edits, when other people haven’t been quite able to deliver, he has been on call every time, no exception, the dude is a superhuman and I can’t understate that. We’re going to be working on a new channel project together and I can’t wait to get on that ground.
I’d also like to give thanks to anyone who has helped post-edit on a regular basis, most notably to Lanooski and Mullenax, if you’ve ever heard Danganronpa music in the background then I can tell you that was the product of Mullenax’s magic. They’re both also really talented editors on their own terms with really distinctive styles, I love what they do and all three of these beautiful people have been working with me for over a year, and I hope that we can continue through this year.
I’d also like to give a mention to people who have consistently delivered high quality edits on a regular basis, a large majority of them have, and we’ve all worked on improving throughout the year, it’s good to slowly work to push the bar higher, and I hope I can match their quality. I also want to give a huge shout out to my Discord server, the admins, and the head admin and furry, Derumisis. Many of you probably don’t know that when I was starting off I ran Colossal Is Crazy’s server for a bit, and it was an absolute nightmare. Discord has obviously made it easier to manage certain elements since then, but it’s still a challenge, and when I was working on it, it was always tough to make the decision that I felt would represent Colossal the best. So if you see him, tell him he does an alright job and that he’s a furry, he loves to be told that he’s a furry.
I’d also like to thank my Patrons, for their support, it gives me a bit more security when talking about topics that may be sensitive, obviously I’m always paying money out to others for their work on my videos and so their contributions are a lifeline. I don’t really plug my Patreon too much, I only mention it right at the end of the videos, and a lot of people tend to click off at that point so the fact that people wanna actively involve themselves like that does mean a lot to me. With special mention to the 50 dollar Patreons: Caroline, Niko Deschamps, and somehulabaloo, the latter who has been supporting for over a year now. Non-biased is on of itself an antonym since we are all biased. Going beyond that, James himself is biased since he, like most people, is against Onision. I do not support or agree with that guy but bias is bias. Morales simply determine what is a good bias and a bad bias. Being a supporter of black civil rights was (and in some circles stil is) seen as a bad and even potentially dangerous "bad bias" once upon a time for example.

I find it annoying when people say your vids are “too long” or you “dance around the point” because i like the long form videos where in you go deep into the topic and explain multiple sides, this is not some “tea spill” video but usually an analysis of not only an event but what the event reveals or affirms or illuminates, so thanks for the content!
It takes a TON of courage to stand up and publicly admit when you've made a mistake.That is one of the many reasons I respect you and what you do.
I think the ProJared thing had a lot of people (myself included) fooled into dogpiling on him. Try not to beat yourself up too much about it.

I completely understand how you feel, I’m the exact same way. When I get “anxious” I get physically sick and nauseous and I get the tremors too. Most days I feel numb to everything

When you originally kept appearing in my recommended, i didn't click because I thought The "Right" Opinion meant "right wing" lol. Oh how wrong I was, and oh how glad I am I ended up clicking. I then made a playlist with a ton of your videos and started watching them every night until I fell asleep. I know you've heard your voice helps people sleep before and said you hope its a good thing, it's most definitely a good thing. I cannot fall asleep without watching something and the fact that your videos are long and your voice is soothing means I can watch a few and then close my eyes and usually fall asleep listening to that one, and it's awesome. You were on my twitter top 10 list of youtubers for 2019, as thats when I discovered you, and I think you'll always stay there. 💜

I had been at the ER 5 times in 4 days bc I was so sick. turns out I had 2 very serious issues, both of which were very bad for the liver. Random question but I don’t know if you’d ever consider making a video on the channel H3H3 and the H3 Podcast. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole that started with Gokunaru’s removed H3 video and it would be amazing to hear your thoughts on it all. I can relate to a lot of the things you talked about like the emotional and mental aspect of things. I have paranoia and self doubt with certain things specifically with other people. I believe deep down that people will just up and leave once they have taken everything they needed, or the moment one mess up happens that they will just abandon me. Im currently working on all of that, but i still struggle with it. I can also relate to the disconnect between what you feel overal and what your mind wants you to feel, i have that due to a lot of voices throughout my years telling me how to feel and how to act, people would get mad at me when something greatly effected me and they said its no big deal, or vice versa even where i didnt feel the need to feel a certain way and they said or asked why arent i mad or sad or whatever the case may have been. Im only just learning how to listen to myself and believe that if i feel a certain way im allowed to feel that way and not worry about how others might react.
I really like your videos and your channel is one of 2 channels i continuously keep up with, everytime you post i watch, i dont usually do that i generally jump from youtuber to youtuber but your type of videos are those that i really like (im a documentary dork haha). Keep up the awesome work!!!!

TRO, your talk about experiencing emotions physically rather than mentally hits very close to home. Growing up I was emotionally charged and was often vulnerable to toxic friendship situations. I was incredibly anxious. But then after my first year of uni, things just switched off. By now, as a postgrad, I have developed a twitch due to stress and that is one of the only ways that I feel stressed aside from it all snapping and having a depressive episode. It's hard but it is also beneficial in being logical and self-reflective.
Is it bad, good, or somewhere in between that I'm overjoyed Keemstar is getting sued in federal court just days after slamming you? 😂

In all honesty, I relate to you a lot. It actually feels good to relate to someone. I think you'll definitely grow as a channel. Your personality and the way you brand your channel is unique and very likable, keep up the good work.
You have always stood out among all the commentary channels, for me. I always feel that after watching all of the others, when I reach yours, I usually learn something new, relate on other things, and feel that I can somewhat close the book on that topic, in my own way.
I also have always felt there was something really nice about the sense of community within your videos and comment section. Its fun to see what all of the different editors bring to the table and check them out on their chosen platform. You can feel the difference they bring to videos and it’s just sort of refreshing. Your comment section is usually cordial and thoughtful and interacting with other viewers on your videos has never been frustrating. At least not yet.

Your editors always do an amazing job and make the visual engagement so much better, not to mention that I’m always hungry for long essay style videos that I can sit down and listen too while cleaning, drawing, etc and you deliver every time consistently. I understand the inner perfectionist to a T, however any small imperfections in the videos you create are always overshadowed by the hard work and hours of effort that goes into making quality content that I often watch 3+ times and never get bored.

Honestly, it’s amazing to see how far you have come even though I haven’t been able to witness it. Mentally and physically you’ve been able to adapt a lot while allowing yourself to stay true to your opinion and also allowing yourself to grow as a person. i related to so much of this. i ended up dropping out of a community college i attended because my first choice in university declined me for no reason. i also went through anger management when i was younger and used to hold some views that weren’t common because of my restricted upbringing, and now i enjoy looking at drama content from a similarly detached perspective as you, although mine is definitely a more isolated opinion. thanks for keeping at this, you’re definitely my favorite drama channel overall and not just because you have a soothing accent
