It's fascinating some folks are so unaware of basic political science and don't know what the far right is or what to call it. Instead they take offense because it probably implicates them. If you're in denial about the far right, you're probably far right, mmk? These days the communists are more capitalist than the capitalists. The socialists are liberals, and the liberals are the conservatives. So what's happened to the traditional center right conservatives? They've either fled back to the center, made Faustian bargains in denial, or they're joined up with or find themselves otherwise convinced by reformed fascist parties. That sweet and savory seductive appeal of anti immigration, faded glory, and unquestionable authority. Immigration is the best litmus. If it wants immigrants gone; if it's willing to overthrow its government, constitution, break with the EU or NATO, or invoke Hitler without knowing it, then it's far right. Don't need to have gas chambers or wars to be a Nazi, and you don't have to have a dictatorship in order to be fascist. Diet Coke is still Coca-Cola, the acid will still rot your teeth. Take a look around sometime. Russia wanting to unify Slavs by force? Israel killing civilians instead of terrorists? Attempted coups in the US? Billionaires buying up the press outlets? It's not 1985 anymore folks. There's a new and very old evil in the world today, and if you're blind to it, you might just be part of the problem. Get skeptical about your own skepticism folks, and wonder where your feet are and if your footing is okay. We can't afford to be flying blind here.

Hi Stuart, Sinn Fein we’re the political wing of the IRA similarly Herri Batasunak and Euzkadiko Ezkerra we’re the political wing of ETA. Sinn Fein are now the ruling party in the Republic of Ireland but I don’t see their politicians running around with AK47’s and hand grenades. Please also put the context of ETA’s presence in the 60’s and 70’s into perspective; they were fighting a fascist dictator who was Hitler’s closest ally during the II World War and Europe’s longest serving fascist dictator.

Turist tax. No I wont go where there's an extra cost unless I really have to. Five euro per day is not cheap if you're somewhere for 14 days. As for National Service; that'll be expensive for a country, they'll have to house, feed and clothe the service men/women as well as provide trained trainers, weapons etc etc.

I usually see a lot of cyclists along the harbour area slightly later in the day Stuart and the racers out training head out of the city on the country roads. So they are there just not at the time you were heading out. The beach where you saw the first lot of campervans parked is the dog beach.

Nice video Stuart. That certainly brought back a whole lot of memories from when I lived and worked on the Costa Blanca. You are right. In summer that entire lower Costa Blanca is ram packed with Spanish, the majority being fom Madrid. Further down the coast you will find places like Ciudad Quesada, Playa Flamenca, La Mata, Torrevieja, La Zenia and Villa Martín. All very popular with British Ex Pats. It amazes me but many of them have lived there for years and don't speak any Spanish at all. Torrevieja also has a huge Russian community.

Spain will have a mass public revolt on their hands if the draft is implimented..The Spanish DO NOT include their military in their national identity or culture like say the UK does. However, trying to force the draft on the hundreds of thousands of youth unemployed may just be a welcome income..but their enthusiasm doubtful aa they'll be drafted hundreds of kms from home😮 How useful will this type of policy actually be if the conscripts were posted to a conflict zone? He's getting out because no tourists that will mean the residents will have to pay more to live there 38% of the income comes from the tourists if no tourists they have to find that money from the people that live there not only a lot will be out of a job so you'll have to support them to and the migrants that are coming to Spain often so the cost of living will go up a lot

PTZ cams are neat. Some integrate with Amazon’s Alexa app and you can create a routine that when triggered that turns on other lights or states that motion has been detected. I put a cam in the garage because I would sometimes forget to shut the door and I could check the app on my phone to verify I did or did not close the door. When somebody uses the term "far right" I get suspicious. It is used against so many people with views that were considered mainstream a few short years ago. It is nowadays used as a slur to shut down conversation. I can't believe the accusations can go to court without some kind of criminal investigation by law enforcement. Seems like a system open to major abuse.
