This was great. Could you do a standing variation of this as well? I sit pretty much all day so any standing sequence would be super helpful. The overhead stretches specifically, as sitting has caused my back to not be great.

Thanks for checking out my video! 🧡 I practiced yoga casually for 2-3 years before pursuing my yoga teacher training. I would describe the program as beginner-friendly in terms of prior yoga knowledge; however, I would recommend a level of physical fitness that would allow you to keep up with ~2 hours of yoga practice each day. I stayed at the Mansion campus, which is at a resort. If I could do it again, I would choose Amertham or Melati for a more intimate, secluded environment ❤️

Question! Do you guys get alone time often there? Or is there a lot of pressure to join groups during free time
Over the 20 day training, you get 2 days off to do whatever you'd like (on day 7 and day 14) 🧡 Training days end once dinner is served at 6:30 PM, then you have the rest of the evening to yourself! I always felt included, but never felt pressured to participate. You also have the option to choose a private room - I did! Hope this helps 🥰

Can you share - more tips on how and what to prepare for the trip - important things to bring that you only realised when you were there - how much rupiah to bring especially if we were to go out sometimes - is it possible to have a more peaceful and immersive experience rather than a party-like and loud one? - were there any bad stories of roommates in the shared rooms? (E.g. roommates being too loud etc.)
I'm planning to create a video answering most of these questions - please consider subscribing so you don't miss out 🧡 House of Om provides a VERY comprehensive Student Guidebook that lists what to bring, how to prepare mentally and physically, how to travel to and within Bali, etc. It's 100% possible to have a more meditative, introspective experience - it's actually encouraged! I would say our group was split 50/50 between those who mixed in tourism and those who didn't. One regret I had was NOT buying a local SIM card. I relied on Wi-Fi (which was spotty) and my off-resort travels would have been safer and more efficient with cell service 👍

Thanks for checking out my video 🧡 I think a beginner could do easily do well in the theory classes/on the written exam! I would caution that there is between 2-4 hours of physical yoga practice each day, so a daily yoga practice is recommended before the training 🥰
