    I've been wanting to do this FOREVER. So I recently bought a 36v e bike from Amazon, with a smaller 350w motor. It comes with a 7.5ah battery but since it's 36v I can modify it with two 6ah 40v Ryobi batteries

      It work great for my built, the Ryobi 40v are really 36v anyway. Just wired them in parallel with the right wire gauge and you are good to go

    Did you ever get the old axle shoulder removed from the old half shaft? If I can’t yank out the axle while on the car I’m planning to remove the half shaft with the bracket and reinstall it once I can get the old axle out of it. It’s a 04 civic hybrid passenger side. I bought an aftermarket axle which I am nervous about as I’ve heard bad things about using them on Hondas.

    • @JoeBakerOutsideTheBox

    Please learn better language skills. Instead of describing the job in terms of bad, let's use proper language and say something like, "Look at what a fine job this 55 year old piece of equipment has done.'' Also Too mention it's maintenance situation. If it's all original and has been on the job for all or some of those years state it to give credit for it. I have many older things that work nearly perfectly but some have sat out for many many years. Some have been right in the battle year after year and now need a new belt or spindle bearings. It's much more credible and gives a "real '' picture to the listener

      @JoeBakerOutsideTheBox Před 6 měsíci

      Hello The practical and the easiest on the wallet is to find a good 4WD parts car that is damaged enough to be a wreck but still has the whole powertrain in good conditions. The other way is to source all the parts individually to built your 4WD powertrain: so you will need: • 4WD transmission and mounts • propeller shaft with all the mounts • rear differential and mounts • rear drive axle And probably a few other parts that I don’t remember at the moment. It should be relatively an easy project if you can find the right parts And best of all the 4wd engage with an hydrologic system built in in the rear differential…so no need to do any change to the OBC. Visit Elementownerclub and other chat room where you will connect with peoples who already did this project and usually eager to help. Visit Hondapartsnow.com for parts list and schematics Good luck with your project
