    That's exactly what the problem was, my pin connection became unattached. Connected it back and no more error! Thanks

    Thank you so much. I got error code 24 when I was 10 miles from home. I rode my bike manually that far home. Now that I am here with my computer this video showed me exactly what to do with the 9 pin connector that had become a little loose. I might search for something that can make that 9 pin connection a little more secure in the future. BTW, I could barely see my arrows without using a flashlight. Thank you for the helpful video. ☺

      Update: I added a zip tie to the wire connector side of the loose male connector and attached it to another wire that is directly above the connection. Hopefully that will eliminate the problem in the future.

    Thank you brother, they are still using this wonky connection that is hilariously easy to disconnect.

    • @JoeBakerOutsideTheBox
      @JoeBakerOutsideTheBox  Před 2 měsíci

      Probably a broken wire within the sleeve or a loose connection inside the motor

    At 0:45 what is that frayed metal wire? On my bike it is starting to unravel and I don’t know it’s function.

    • @JoeBakerOutsideTheBox
      @JoeBakerOutsideTheBox  Před 3 lety

      Could be the motor or the controller...Spin your motor by hand to feel any rubbing noise or resistance, if normal it maybe a faulty controller or bad wiring connection.

      I would check wired for continuity first. If wired ok, I would crack open the wheel to check and test, clean connection… altought I never had to go that far.

    • @JoeBakerOutsideTheBox
      @JoeBakerOutsideTheBox  Před 2 lety

      Hi
      I dont know that code, my guess it is coming from the control display unit itself. Unplug the display, clean the contact then reconnect the unit. Also a Search on google for that code mention a bad throttle…

    i have a problem with error-19 on scrapper e-bike. can you tell me a solutions please😢

    • @JoeBakerOutsideTheBox
      @JoeBakerOutsideTheBox  Před rokem

      I am not sure about scrapper bike but usually error 19 is the battery improperly installed and not giving full voltage.
      Check your wiring for damaged and poor connections and test voltage at terminals

      Look for connectors anywhere in your wiring and unplug and replug them…maybe you get lucky otherwise you probably need a tech…good luck
