Hi! I appreciate the question, but I am not a mechanic. I would advise googling it. There is lots of info on how to tell if the fluid is low, what it should smell and look like, etc. Good luck!

Love it❤️ We wondered if A&W was just a Canadian chain because we just weren’t seeing any in the US, but spotted a couple this last trip south. You have so many fast food chains we don’t though. Hi Brenda! Check out the iOverlander app. It’s very helpful for finding spots to camp or just park overnight. We use it a lot. Gracie is definitely a unique cat. She fears nothing. She growls when she sees a person approaching the car! Lol! The Whiskey Jacks are so fun!! They will feed out of your hand in some places.The Blue Jays are bossier and tend to chase off other birds. We enjoy watching them all though❤️

Hey Felix! Thanks for watching! I take the ferry a lot! My family lives on an Island and the ferry is the way to get there, lol! Sadly, it's not a free ride, like the fresh water ones here in BC. But it's still a nice 2 hour trip! I would LOVE a freeze dryer! But they are soooo expensive! Like RIDICULOUSLY!!! My friend bought one ($$$) and freeze dries stuff she buys at the store, which to me is silly. I just buy mine already freeze dried from Thrive Life or Walmart. Much cheaper! The furbies are great travellers, and enjoy these trips as much as I do. Hope your summer is off to a great start!

I have a trip to Haida Gwai, (which I still mostly call the Queen Charlotte Islands, lol) on my bucket list. I've taken the ferry from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy many times, but have never managed a trip out to the islands. I am amazed that the ferry between the islands is free though! I don't know of any other salt water ferry that is free in BC. I grew up in Campbell River, on Vancouver Island, and cringe every time I go visit family at the ferry costs. Then, if you want to visit one of the islands off of Vancouver Island, it's also another fee. Seems strange that the one between the Haida Gwai Islands is free. @HoneyandMe As I remember it in the 1980s, it was free and no bookings, but things might have changed. I got to see and photograph the Golden Spruce before it got cut down. I flew in and rented a car, so I spent a lot of time on the South island. That was one of my most favourite trips ever, NFLD trips are up there, too.

@NorthernRetreat Oh wow! ❤️Amazing!! Interesting to hear about NFLD too! My eldest daughter moved to PEI a couple of years ago. I haven’t been to visit yet, but she loves it there.One day I’ll make a summer of it and visit all the Atlantic provinces.

@HoneyandMe Love NFLD after Labour Day. No crowds and everything is usually half off, although weather can be dicey. Makes for a relaxing trip and dramatic photography. Drove there and took the ferry once and flew into Stephenville 3 times, and rented a car. A must do trip, especially the northern peninsula.

@NorthernRetreat I love visiting places after the touristy tourists have gone! I’m not a fan of crowds.

Thank you, Pete! We agree on the Arctic Fox! Although, after we bought ours we discovered a bunch of rot around the bottom of the trailer. It’s a 2007, and there doesn’t seem to be very many around that were built this way. We think it was a design flaw. As far as Los Algodones, it’s too far to walk and when we’ve been there there has not been a shuttle. There is a huge pay parking lot at the border crossing though. Hey Felix! It was such a pretty park...even in the rain. I think if I were really in need of a cartop carrier I'd get one of the hard shell ones. This one was 'good enough' for getting the extra stuff to the cabin, but I won't ever trust it to keep things dry! I though the outhouse was cool just because it was made from all those plastics! Nice to see something that is actually utilizing all the recycling we do here in Canada. That's one of the big differences we have found between the US and Canada. Recycling doesn't seem to be a big deal there. Maybe it's just the states we have visited, but there is no incentive to recycle bottles and can, let alone our garbage. is it different where you guys are? Thanks for watching!

@@HoneyandMe Missouri definitely is not a big recycling state. Maybe in the big cities. But not so much in our little rural towns.

@HappyPlaceCamping I think the only state we went through that didn’t have plastic shopping bags was Colorado. In Canada, we’ve pretty much gotten rid of them.

Wow! Really?? Where are you located? Are you in a hot area? I'm trying to think of something else you could use in place of duct tape. It seems weird it would melt as it is made to wrap furnace ducts which carry heat! I wonder if different brands might actually be different quality. Something to think about for sure. Do you know anyone with one? Or maybe you could go to a dealership and try one on for size! lol! The salesperson might raise their eyebrows when you ask to lay down in the back, but who cares!

I love mine, but I also had hoped for, what in Canada, is the TRD version. It's the more rugged off road Rav4. Perhaps one day, but they do seem to be hard to find. Good luck in your search!

Thanks for your comment and tip on getting that glue off👍But no, I am not reapplying it. It was a temporary measure until I could seal everything up properly. I did use the corner seal tite tape under the corner trim though, which is the same as eternabond but with fabric instead of the smooth side. This was just the first step in this project.

Lol!! Good question!😆It’s never actually happened! Gracie is pretty ‘regular’ and uses her litter box during the day only. It gets cleaned soon after. I used to keep her litter box in the front on the floor, but switched it to the back to make it easier to access my solar battery. So far, having the litter box in the back, by my nose at night, hasn’t been an issue.

Lucky you!! I’d love to get a van one day! It would probably feel HUGE after a car camper, lol! Are you using your promaster to camp in? Gracie (my cat) doesn’t take up much space in the car camper. Lol! Yup! They’re there! I’ve saved all the stickers our ‘group’ exchanged until I had something I really liked and wanted to stick them on. It’s quite a but fuller now too, as I collected stickers as I travelled!
