LITTLE CABIN IN THE YUKON
When I'm not traveling in an RV or at home working on an RV, I'm usually at our remote, off grid log cabin in the Yukon. My husband and I have had this cabin for over 20 years and love it. If you'd like a look into that part of my life, I have a channel showing how we live there, lots of beautiful scenery and wildlife. So much of what I learned living off grid at the cabin has come in handy living in an off grid RV! The link is here-

I had such an amazing time on my 3 week long car camping trip from my home in southern BC to our cabin in the Yukon! You can follow my journey on the playlist of those videos here-czcams.com/play/PLf1i4HjA-m9Tb_cNKO92IXxXSJfgCNhwN.html
Whoa!! Creepy doll! But very neat old bridge! Quesnel looks like a nice place.
Thanks for watching!
Oh you know how much I love cemeteries.
I love them too. Peaceful and beautiful, plus interesting!
That tombstone made to look like a tree trunk reminds me of others I’ve seen which were placed by Woodsmen Of The World life insurance company. In the very late nineteenth century and up through the first half of the twentieth century, families used to buy burial insurance and paid ten cents per week to keep the insurance in force. Often times the policy included a cemetery head stone. Those placed by Woodsmen Of The World, and possibly other insurance companies, used headstones such as those to remind others of the importance of having burial insurance. Fascinating history! 👍
That's so interesting, Greg! I'm going to have to research that and see if that was what it was. Thanks for the info and for watching!
Creepy doll for sure. I love stuff like this. So interesting.
Me too! I don't actually believe in any of it, but it is interesting. Thanks for watching, Angela.
That is so nice of them to cater to travelers. I love finding interesting headstones. That tree one is a Woodmen of the World. It was an organization in the 1800s
Yes, Quesnel’s rec centre was a really nice surprise. Very welcoming!👍That’s so interesting about the tree headstone! I’m going to have to google that! Thanks for watching!❤
Oh love a good historic cemetery. That’s a nice one. That tree tombstone is neat. I love that bridge too! It’s like you made this video just for me 😂 I can see where the doll would give someone the creeps. Interesting about the lamb being outside the locked case. The mystery trail in the museum is a fun way to tell a story. I take no one ever found the family? Now THAT is creepy 😬
Glad you enjoyed it , Felix! Quesnel is a lovely town full of history. Mandy has so many stories related to her. When she went to NYC, a psychic held her and said she figured she was the doll belonging to 2 twin girls whose mother's grief was imbedded in the doll. And yes, the family was never found. Can you guess who was the chief suspect?😏
Very interesting. There is a haunted doll in KeyWest Florida, also. His name is Robert. Maybe it’s her brother 😉
Spooky!!! lol! Thanks for watching, Brenda. I'll go check out this Robert doll now!
Hello Susan, I’m knew to your channel. I’m 63 and live in the states. I came across your channel doing research for my car camping trip across the U. S this spring. It is uncanny how much alike we are. And when you said “Keto” on your channel, during your first car camping trip, I immediately pushed that Subscribe button. Thank you for your ideas, information, and history tidbits! I love history too. It is uncanny how much you and I have in common. It’s nice to find a kindred spirit. I look forward to your next video. Take care!

It's a beautiful area, except for the creepy doll! 😳😉
Lol! Yes, it is very pretty. The doll is kept under lock and key, so not much chance of it ruining the scenery! Thanks for watching!
Thanks alot for sharing sister
I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was a fun, and interesting, stop on my car camping road trip! Thanks so much for joining me!
@@HoneyandMe welcome sister

Interesting. Did you stop at the Ancient Forest on your way north?
No! I've never heard of it. Where is it located? Sounds intriguing!
@HoneyandMe Ancient Forest/Chun T'oh Whudujut Provincial Park is located about a half hour East of Prince George. Here's a link to my video slide show of it, really must be seen. czcams.com/video/_qHD7MqhdEQ/video.html
@@HoneyandMe The Ancient Forest is about a half hour East of Prince George just off the Yellowhead Hwy (16). It really shouldn't be missed. Here is a link to my video on it. czcams.com/video/_qHD7MqhdEQ/video.html
Going to check your video! Thanks! If it's east of PG, I would have missed it as I went west. But, I am thinking about doing the eastern route next fall, so could stop then!
@HoneyandMe My buddies place is a half hour West of PG so you probably went right by it then.
