First Solo Camping Trip ~ beginner car camping for women!

- My first solo camping trip in the mountains. This was my very first time car camping and as a beginner car camper, the experience was a lot of fun! I've documented the process of camping in my car for two nights as a solo woman and if you're thinking about trying car camping for the first time, it's absolutely worth it! You don't have to be a professional or have fancy gear. I honestly got stuff at the thrift store - hello REI chairs!) Learning how to car camp as a newbie takes a little bit of research, some basic gear, and an open mind. I'm so glad I gave it a try and I'd love to hear if you try it too!

Beautiful video. Hard to believe you’re new to this. Loved the tortillas. Homemade? I also have the problem about going to bed too early when car camping but I have resorted to watching a Netflix movie before bed. Perfect fire too! Are you not scared at night? I cover the windows and don’t look out.

I did my first solo road trip last summer...from Fresno Ca to Portland OR. camped at Lassen National Park and Shasta..stopped at Crater Lake...WOW! I'm looking forward to seeing all the National Parks with me and my sweet lil dog!! You go girl!!!!

Beautiful video…I came here because I just got myself a van and my first trip is this weekend with family so I have an idea of what I’m doing. Then the big solo 3 nights, I’m so excited but also so nervous and anxious….but you never know if you never go. ❤❤

Good for you for having such a wonderful first solo trip. I just turned my Nissan Sentra into a car camper and took my 1st trip last week to Old Orchard Beach and I had a great time with no issues. I actually had plenty of room to sleep. I can't wait to do it again and I will film at this time. What sauce did you use for your tacos? It looked delicious.
