Something you may want to consider is a tool roll. It would keep the stuff in the "garage" organized and together in a small package and may even allow for more room for other tools or stuff from the junk drawer area. Pretty impressive set up and good use of space.
I like that you didn't need to modify the car at all. The bench storage is a nice idea for outdoor seating as well.
Almost identical to me. I have a DC fridge where your clothes storage box is, and I bought a square 3 gallon water jug at WM instead of round. I think it uses space better. I actually bought a car organizer box with a divider and put it on my front seat. The square jug fits perfectly on one side, and I can cram stuff in the other. It’s black and keeps thing looking neat and concealed. Those are my ideas, but I got some good ones from you. Thanks for sharing.

What impressed me is how clear and understandable your video is about where everything goes and why. That is not always the case, even with other tidy and organized set ups. Plus in under 12 minutes, great job. Sometimes when i see 20 or 30 minute video's of this kind I just don't want to take the time to watch. Oh, and loved your "shot" throwing an Item into the rooftop container.
Very efficient use of a nice vehicle! I think the color scheme is cool and classy as it is. And being inconspicuous is probably a great idea anyway.

Hello. I have recently discovered your channel and am enjoying catching up on your adventures. Recently I watched your latest video on your van build which I can appreciate the efforts you have made so far and the journey ahead of you, having just recently completed a Ford transit custom van build myself.
I too prior to building my van, built a mini camper unit to fit in my citroen berlingo, an ugly vehicle but I truly loved it for its versatility and practicability. I used it for numerous trip around the UK.
A great security feature I learned was when parked up over night, to stop your doors from being opened, pass the seatbelt through the door arm rest and then into the seatbelt restraining mechanism. This prevents the doors from being open from the outside.

Thank you for this! Considering a RAV4 and appreciate the info on the platform setup. I'd camped many years in a first generation Ford Escape and that worked out great with the flat rear cargo area. Nothing like being in a vehicle for protection from lightning, torrential rain, critters, etc.

I love how organized you are. For me in my Ford Explorer I use a 3 drawer container for my clothes, some dishes and a smaller 3 drawer for my odds / ends. I got a cooler but keeps ice for 2 days really sucky looking into a Ozark something small until I can put a permanent solar panel on my roof rack then I can use more of my electric cooler.
Hi!I did car life for over two years. Great job at being organized. I was too! I never understood how ppl could have so much stuff & be disorganized. Disorganiztion drives me nuts 😅. It’s just much more peaceful to have a system and you e done a great job!
I recommend that you keep the yeti but put the dry goods bag inside of it. It seems big enough to fit it😊

Great video... Thanks. You may want to get an 'Air Horn.' These make for a serious defense tool. One loud blast will frighten any intruder, whether man or beast. Seriously. It'll also alert others, providing for safer travels.

That's pretty nice! I have a minivan and even though I say "I'm not taking too much stuff" I almost always end up taking too much. I also have the window covers from weathertech and they are awesome! Sadly right now it is way too hot to be camping in Texas.

You'll be pretty comfortable in your RAV4. Of course there are day when it gets tiring so it's always good to take a break here and there. Good luck! 💕

Hi Elisa-you know, watching this one reminds me of how I was looking at a Rav4 for my next potential vehichle. It was a toss up between that, a Hyundai Tuscon, Kia Sportage and the Nissan Rogue. The kia Sportage was my top choice but with the space that you have shown with your Rav4 you have caused me to take a 2nd look. Sometime in 2024 i will make the choice but it is close-thx for the inspiration.

Yes! I love this! Not too much stuff, just the essentials! I’d return the cooler and get a console sized fridge and battery. I have these and they fit much better than a cooler. And obviously you can have cold food. You can recharge your battery whilst driving, and get a blanket solar panel. Just an idea for you, it what I did :)
The red paint on the pines looks ike Michigan. I lived there for 9 years tent camping May thru October and cabin living Nov- thru April each year. It ws the best time of my life. Familial commitments brought me back to Indiana. I love being near family but I absolutely hate living here.
