- I was solo car camping alone by the Fraser River and was visited in the middle of the night by a few party animals! I found a beautiful spot by the Fraser River on my car camper road trip and enjoyed every minute!

Hello Kimberly! Thanks for watching! Yes, I'm pretty sure they were rascally raccoons! I looked over the car to see if I could find any paw prints, and did find some that looked the right size, but were hard to photograph and share. Right angle and all that. My cartop carrier was, at that time, just full of empty totes that I needed to fill, before heading into the Yukon with food stuffs we'd need at the cabin this winter. They would have been disappointed if they'd managed to get into it, lol! Take care!-Sue

I wish we could be a little more play by ear. But I get nervous that we'll be stuck with no place to stay. Ugh stupid rain. What an awesome spot! I love a camp spot with a view! There are times when I pack something and wish I had done it differently. Not really in the camper, but when we do the suv thing. Limited space requires some things to not be nearly as accessible as I would like many times. You totally should have got video of the noise of them climbing on the roof. Do you have oppossums there? Maybe it was them. I didn't know you wouldn't have racoons up there. Glad it wasn't something dangerous or anything that did any damage. Great car camping trip! Thanks for taking us along.
Hi Felix! We’ve always been ‘flying by the seat of our pants’ people, lol! It works for us, but not for everyone, obviously😉Yes.. packing small spaces really takes thought. And sometimes trying but out til you get it right👍
No possums up here, but I live those little guys! I got to hold a baby one at a zoo once and wanted to take it home❤️Pretty sure it was raccoons. There really isn’t anything else it could have been, and they seem to be migrating further north. Thanks for watching!-Sue

Lol! They would have been hugely disappointed if they had😆At this point, it was filled with empty containers to fill with supplies for the cabin. It was a gorgeous spot though and I hope to return next year! Take care, Winter!

Love all your videos! You find such amazing spots! Weather here in Maine has been snowy. I’m not a huge fan of snow, so I’m anxiously awaiting spring to camp. I’m itching to get out there, but I guess I’ll just have to watch your videos to tide me over.😁

I'm currently at our cabin in the Yukon (where I was heading in these car camping road trip videos) and enjoying the winter here. Yes, I do LOVE the Yukon winters! But, I'll be back in the car in about a week to go and spend Christmas with a couple of my kids and my mom. I'm going to do a few car camping outings this winter and hoping they are a success, lol! I'd have to be pretty hard pressed to eat a raccoon. Lol! I'll stick to moose. But I would not want a moose climbing all over my car!

I'm pretty sure it was raccoons now. It was quite a surprised to be woken up by their antics all over my car! lol! Yes, I was amazed Freddie didn't bark. He is usually the one who barks at everything!

Hi Jeanne! Yes, that’s always been one of my ‘musts’. I have to be able to go from my bed to the driver’s seat without getting out of the vehicle. Better safe than sorry. But, these critters were just out for fun, so no worries! Take care!

Hey🙋♀️🛻🇨🇦❤️‼️ Have been so busy, missed a lot of videos😮 I too really enjoy IOverlander. Found some amazing spots with that app. I am currently on blm land in southern California, doing the trips to dental in Molar City😅. This spot Im at is on IOverlander, and I found the best gas station in Yuma, using the app, free dump, garbage,water And gas up..one stop shop😅! I've been 5 weeks off grid now, could not have done it without BADGE fixing my genny,lol! He has been a Mother Hen fussing over me,lol! 😅this has been a mild winter back in Canada eh?
