LITTLE CABIN IN THE YUKON
When I'm not traveling in an RV or at home working on an RV, I'm usually at our remote, off grid log cabin in the Yukon. My husband and I have had this cabin for over 20 years and love it. If you'd like a look into that part of my life, I have a channel showing how we live there, lots of beautiful scenery and wildlife. I love that you travel with a cat like me. My girl isn't nearly as adventurous with food LOL! Your channel is so helpful for traveling in a mid size SUV with pets. Plus the awesome bear footage!!

This is a small one in a small town, and not a rowdy one at that. But honestly, I think in all the years and various Walmarts we’ve spent a night at, we’ve never had a bad night. I only remember one where a car full of ‘hooligans’ decided to screech their tires to annoy RVers staying there. Lol! 😆And then left, so really not a big deal.They are a great place to spend the night while traveling, especially if it’s a town you want to explore a bit. Thanks for tagging along!
love your videos! It is so beautiful up there where you live. Capturing the adventure of mama and baby bear was a bonus!!! We live in SC in the US, and we have lots of hurricanes that bring lots of rain. It is amazing how destructive the power of water is!!!

Awesome you took both fur babies with you. They so adorable. I had the same thing happen to me with a lettuce burger. 😂😂 I still have never slept at a Walmart . What a fun video! It looked like the salmon were spawning. I could see the way they were swimming. Used to live right next to a river that was one of their water way north to spawn. Gracie is so cute! Wasting your lunch! ❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, the salmon were spawning up the Nicola River after coming up the Fraser. Amazing feat. Gracie is such a character! Love her to bits❤️Take care, Winter!❤️❤️

I've kind of hoppped around your channel so I may have missed it if you covered it already: could you discuss how you got your cat a) used to wearing the harness, and b) getting used to the car? I'm assuming she had spent time in the RV so she might just see this as a mini version 😁
My life would be so much simpler if I could bring my cat. No problem bringing the dog. I figured if I get a van or minivan it would be more practical, but like you, I'm in a SUV. Any logistical tricks you can share? I'm also curious how she reacted to the carwash ☺️ Thanks! This was a beautiful video 💗
Thanks so much for watching and for your comment❤️Gracie, right from the get go as a kitten, has been travelling with us in our RV as well as trips to see family just in the car. I have always had cats that were indoor/ outdoor cats and the 2 before Gracie were used to traveling. We took them to our remote off grid cabin every year and they had travelled in a large kennel in the truck and then by ATV and Skidoo in and out of the cabin. They adjusted. But with Gracie, I wanted her to be an indoor cat who went out on a leash only. She is a pretty adventurous girl to begin with and rules over the dogs like a Princess. Traveling is 2nd nature for her. Our other cats never went on leash. They stayed in the RV on trips and adjusted well to it. The only real advice I can offer is to allow your cat to adjust. Take it on trips to the store, let it drag a leash around the house. If it feels safer traveling in a kennel, let it. Leave the kennel door open and allow it to choose when to come out. Cats are pretty adaptable if given time. Gracie has been through a car wash several times and takes it in stride. Allow yours to get used to things in its own time and it may surprise you!
