It was still a hard time liking anime. And my friend had a rough time altogether. Bad relations in her family (now they have quite good relations) and I wasn't there for her a lot of time (We were quite young and I didn't know how to handle her or her situations well... I'm 300% better at that now.) She met someone online and chatted a lot and then they did video chats via skype. She is not the epitome of beauty standard and he was quite handsome, so it was kinda fishy. Especially that his mic was broken all the time and he needed to type all the things he would say to her in the chat. It bothered me a bit, cause I was made really sensitive on the topic of "on the internet they can be anything and play the young teenage girl/boy to lure you in" - but she did video call with him! ... Later she told me the heartbreaking story, that it was a girl all along that made fun of her all the time playing with her heart. That girl had her cousin play the model during video chat and dictated him all he was supposed to type and that's why his "mic was broken" all the time. It was really heartbreaking, cause my friend swings both ways. She would have been happy with a girl too, if she would have been genuine. But that added to all the shit she had in her life. I'm still kinda mad about that. At least with scammers I know they just want my best - my money. But that girl tortured my friend for fun. Simply because she could.
