My toxic trait is that I feel like I could walk up to that stunning wolf and they would just feel my chill vibes and be like, "Nah, I won't eat her, we can be friends." My obituary will read, "She died doing what she loved, petting a giant floof."
I would take that as a superpower. Can't even talk to animals, just let them feel my vibe and let me feel theirs.
@@hmnhntr me too, for sure.
I saw a meme once that resonated with me in ways I can't describe. It basically said "how am I supposed to find out just how soft and fluffy a bear is without dying a very Caucasian death?" As a white man who wants all the fluffs that question haunts me at night
@@godrickstockwell1505 not sure if my profile pic made it obvious, but I'm also problematically caucasian. Burn like a lobster, wanting to pet things that could kill me...at least I don't clap when the plane lands or the movie ends.
Either way, they probably wouldn't eat you. Wolves tend to be fairly scared of humans (North American wolves especially so), so they'll try to run away whenever they can. We're really way too much of a hassle for most animals to deal with.
[5:00] This hollow tree appears to be a Strangler Fig, a type of parasitic species which grows long vine-like tendrils that surround & consume the resources of another tree. After many years, the Fig's vines have gradually fused together becoming a cylindrical shell which surrounds the trunk & roots of the victim. After the host tree dies, it eventually rots away 'til only the hollow shell of the Strangler Fig remains.
At first it was kinda cool to look at, now it is terrifying
Thank you for the explanation! I tought the tree had had a lightning striking it and it slowly burnt inside, just leaving the bark on the outside 😄
I had assumed the inside was eaten away by bugs or something. But this is super interesting and just a tad unsettling. Thanks for the info!
Sounds like one of my colleagues
I guess that's why it's in oddly terrifying
Ya, my partner has a parrot that cries like a human baby too, she does it at 2am once everyone is asleep, because she finds it hilarious to scare everyone half to death. We know she thinks its funny because after she sees people freak out, she mimics the laugh of a deranged maniac while doing a little happy dance.
I'm convinced parrots know more than we think they do. Cats also understand way too much.
@@LGBTQLegendsame goes for dogs and horses tbh….my dog reacts to conversations all the time and some of the horses I used to work with were not only intuitive but also knew exactly how to break rules without getting in trouble. I’m also still convinced that one of the ponies teamed up with her goat pals to escape…..my slightly dislocated kneecap and super bruised knee back then were my main evidence lol
@@alex_snowI think with dogs it's a mixed bag. My dog was smart enough to open doors but not smart enough to avoid crashing his head into the couch every time during playtime.
@@LGBTQLegend oh yeah absolutely. I'm constantly astounded how my dog can be so smart and yet so very stupid at the same time. It's a talent.
@@LGBTQLegend Yeah, I can barely deal with the menace two fairly well behaved house cats can be. . .I don't think I could ever handle a parrot. Gorgeous creatures, but no. . .I don't need the insanity of what they can mimic at an odd hour of the night.
The "Life saving bed" looks terrifying. Imagine you sit on the bed and got cut in half, because an earthquake starts at this moment
Or you are sleeping with like your arm or leg hanging off the bed and then the bed activates and your limb is just completely broken and dislocated bc of the fold things
Don't try having any wild sex on that thing, either!
This is exactly what I was thinking. If you aren't in the exact proper location on you bed, you would be sliced in half
Or if the box is covered in debris and dust all around and the vents don’t work anymore and you can’t climb out
The design is very human
Two oddly terrifying DnD facts just for Click. One: when a creature is killed the corpse is considered an object not a being. Mimics can turn into objects and move, so zombie mimics can be a thing. Two: If you have two druids of decent power they can use hurricane/tornado and summon animal, they literally can make a sharknado spell.
LMAO SHARKNADO DRUIDS amazing
When people are killed in America, the corpse is also considered an object not a being. Simply an object that cannot be owned. This is important for laws about them.
Actually corpses retain personhood in the US. This protects their remains from different kinds of exploitation.
IIRC mimics can only mimic objects made of stone or wood, but even if they can mimic zombies, zombies already exists, so the concept is not that scary.
I found it hilarious when Click started describing a movie idea about a murderer hiding bodies in statues, because such a movie exists. Its called "House of wax", where a person hides bodies in statues made of wax.
Another one is Bucket of Blood, 1959. They did a 1995 remake of it also.
The classic version with Vincent Price is absolute gold. The shoddy 2000's remake....not so much
And a Dorothy Sayers short story ‘man with copper fingers.’
Murderer covering victims in molten metal!!
Haha, except House of Wax has no artist 😆 just crazies

3:12 that's a reborn baby doll. They're usually used to comfort parents (mostly mothers) who have lost a baby and dementa patients to give them something to care for/redirect them when they're distressed.
I wont lie, reborn babies do give uncannny valley but they do good to people who need them.
EDIT: it's really cool to hear other peoples stories & other uses they have
Ohh and I thought it's one of these babies they use in movies, good to learn something new
I always wanted a reborn baby doll not because I exactly NEED one but I guess taking care of a baby doll and treating it as if it were a real baby makes me feel like I'm caring for something else like a child version of me

6:30 Kind of but also not: The problem with this surgeon is that they post the pictures only a few days after the surgery, instead of a year later. This is important because with the medication and trauma the body just received, the skin gets swollen and looks very different from what the end result will be. The people looks absolutely terrifying and animatronic like in the pictures but they might look much more naturalistic after some time has passed, the swelling went down and the body has healed. Still, these are indeed dramatic changes with significant face lifting and eye reshaping.
Also, they then applied a filter on the photos to hide the bruising, you can see it glitching a bit in some of the original vids - so the uncanny valley thing gets really intense on top of the swelling.
The first guy turned into Ben Shapiro 😯
The photos that went viral and ended up in this video are DAYS after the procedure, so they’re gonna look scary and way too tight. There are videos posted on tiktok that show how patients look 30+ days after surgery, and they look normal. It’s just a scary healing process the public doesn’t often see
Pro tip: you don't need an "earthquake bed" if your house is built earthquake ready. You just need to maintain your house's existing systems and you're good.
So for anyone wondering those realistic babies are actually made to be therapeutic. They're usually bought by women who have suffered a miscarriage and helps them deal with their grief and heal.

About the tree video: I think it may have been a baobab tree! They’re the biggest trees AND they grow hollow. And little fun fact here: baobabs are used as wells in Africa, because they grow hollow, and the top is opened, and so water gets stuck inside the tree as it rains. Sometimes baobabs are also used as shelter, and the leaves and bark have slight healing properties. That’s also why the baobab is called „the tree of life” in Africa!!
Baobab trees also grow more trunks from their branches. What looks like a huge grove could be a single Baobab, spread out as trunks grew from branches dipping down and sprouting roots, starting a new center from which to radiate outward.
I thought baobabs were parasitical on other trees. They're not?
@@zemorph42 Nope. They’re just a normal tree type! There are 9 species and only one of them is outside of Africa, in Australia.
Oh nice! I was just wondering if that's what was used as housing in some places.
Also this makes me feel like it's one of these Pokémon 3rd Gen Secret Bases~
omg this is so cooooool!! I'm definitely gonna make a cool pathfinder setting in this!
Underground Wasps (yellow jackets in the US) is why i can never get stung again without using an Epipen and going straight to the ER. No one thought I was gonna make it, sheer dumb luck, cause holy heck, hundreds, if not thousands of stings on a tiny kids body. The more you get stung, the worse the reactions tend to get. Its wacked, I've slowly gotten to the point of not freaking out every time I see a stinging bug but for years, the sight of one, even across the yard, would keep me in the whole day and if one got near me? Sheer panic. Now i know to just be chill AF but gods, they're so nasty.
Omg that’s horrible and terrifying, I’m sorry that happened to you when you were a poor little baby 😢 I’ve only been stung once by a wasp because it got caught in my super long hair. I used to panic if I saw any flying insect. Now I’m fine with being near them but I still watch them suspiciously lol. I hope you never go through anything like that again.
That's terrible! I hope you continue to get better, and I sympathise! This was very nearly me when I was a kid, but I was just stupid, not unlucky... I was raking the nearby creek, got startled by buzzing from the ground, and hit the weird mound several times with my rake. Luckily remembered my uncle talking about the time he got stung by one after cleaning out an underground nest, so ran tf away in time. We piled grass and dirt on top of the nest, then sprayed it to high heaven. Never heard buzzing from there again!
@@tinaday189 Oh jeeze, I'm glad you remembered that story! I'd say remembering that is pretty lucky!
I'm pretty chill with most bugs these days, they're pretty fascinating once you get past the fear and you learn how to behave around them (most animals really). Took a looonnngggg time, wasn't until my mid-20s that I even started learning about them but now, 10+ years later, I'm like. I GOT DIS!
14:34 The pup is fine. I'm guessing it's a true albino pinscher, hence the coloring. There are some health issues that can come with albinism, especially regarding their eyes and skin, but in most cases it doesn't have too big of an impact on the animal's quality of life. I have a pinscher myself (a miniature one) and it's very common for them to be this level of grumpy. My old lady will literally get mad at the cats for looking at her from across the room.
14:04 The tongue is like that because the dog has no teeth! Once a majority of the teeth are removed or fall out, the jaw warps a little bit, gets weaker and (of course) there's nothing to hold the tongue in. Most dogs who have no teeth do that constant licking!
Source: I work at a vet
a dog breeder told me that the tongue is also a common canine sign saying more or less "i'm not interested in a fight, let's move on". in the present case, i'm not sure though. maybe one or the other, maybe a bit of both.
@@Ysckemia The tongue has a LOT of meanings for canine interaction. A spoon-shaped tongue means stress, yawning and licking the nose is a sign that they don't want to fight. Considering this dog was actively growling and moving towards what they were growling at (classic chihuahua, lol), I don't think they were trying to say that they didn't want to fight
That thing terrified me I’m not going to sleep ever again
@@foreveran00b52 Animal communication is so very interesting.
Not only the position of ears, tounge and tail are important but also how long the signal is shown, are the dogs standing directly frontal or is one exposing his flank?
And the change in signals is often so subtle, too.
Truly fascinating

Hey click!! The girth of the ropes can depend on the size of the ships, but usually you don't want something that's too thick for a line handler to move by hand! They are very heavy, especially when wet, and the creaking noises from the strain on the lines is very loud up close, almost like someone hammering nails into wood, and sometimes, rarely, like gunshots.

The hyper realistic dolls can be very healing for parents who have lost their children to SIDS, or other traumatic events. Some folks use these hyper realistic dolls to help heal with the loss of a child
It still looks like something from Black Mirror, though.

To preface, I am a Christian. Now, for what I actually wanted to say, WHAT THE FUDGE IS THAT JESUS THING? THAT IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING!
I'm hoping it's an animatronic because those eyes are very bright for supposedly being in shadow and just a statue.
I think it's just the eyes being lit up that make it terrifying though.
HE'S REAL!!!! I've seen him. And as an atheist raised Catholic, it is in fact terrifying.
probably just a questionable choice of materials or a bad conservation. The body looks like it's made of or gilded with a metal that has discoloured (might be gold imitation or bronze, might just be soot from all the candles) and the eyes were clearly not made from the same material/painted and haven't darkened alongside the body itself

Walt Disney wanted real skeletons for his rides. He was... something.
off topic but i love ur mlp oc
No idea if it's true, but some random yt-video taught me that there is a real human skeleton in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at some Disney park. But one of the schools I attended (as a teenager) also had a real human skeleton for teaching purposes 🤷 My dad went to the same school and he told me it was the skeleton of a man who died in prison in our hometown. He wanted to do something good with his life, so he donated his body to science after he died. I think he actually wanted his skeleton to be used for teching in a school 😃
Yes, the original pirates of the Caribbean did have a lot of real skeletons, that was due to the plastic back when it was made not looking realistic enough at all. So they decided to use real skeletons on the original ride. As plastic technology got better they replaced the skeletons. None remain today and the skeletons have been laid to rest.

Agreed on the aging gracefully. I have had so many people confused whenever I'm excited to see another gray hair on my head. I call them silver highlights. I dunno, it amuses me to see a new one since they catch the light like glitter in my normally brown hair.
You can absolutely get vertigo from space. I grew up in the deep country on top of a hill. I used to lie in my back yard and the lack of light pollution means that the night sky was VERY clear. I would experience feelings of panic as my brain decided that that was a very long way to fall despite the fact that it was technically "up" and not the direction of gravity.
I can manage it with a blank white ceiling if it's wide enough, too! Mimics the space vertigo feeling because you can't tell how far away the "sky" is anymore.

24:36 for anyone interested, the tiles are doing this because there's little to no space and grout between them. The concrete underneath, like wooden floors, absorb humidity to a degree and "moves" (expands or retracts) with the humidity and heat/cold, in a sudden change of these parameters, the concrete will react quickly but the tiles will be pushed against one another, the lesser grout gap there is and the higher the chances for it to happen!

The people who could afford it would get cages like this (mortsafes) over their graves which extend deep underground, or else they'd have ridiculous multi-layered coffins made of wood, metal, even concrete and with crazy straps and locks on them. And you can bet the medical practicioners who had created this booming black market invested in their own so their competitors wouldn't dig them up. Cadaver research has an absolutely crazy history. And medicine in general.
Edit: whoops, I got too excited and paused so I missed that someone explained it literally seconds later 😅

That uncanny plastic surgeon on TikTok was Dr. Kim.
Apparently, according to an investigation done by a CZcamsr named tuv, him and his team have been doing a lot of shady business in their own establishments and have been accused of multiple crimes, such as being in possession of expired medicine.
Yeah, that whole situation is incredibly disturbing.
I appreciate you for touching on it and also talking about life experience and how you shouldn’t look young forever, Click.
People are beautiful the way they are and should not have to feel the need to get these types of surgeries.
I've been watching Luxeria recently who reacts to videos on makeup, plastic surgery, and the like. She recently looked at these pictures and was also saying that there was a lot of context missing and these videos were taken soon after the surgery before the skin and muscles had time to heal and relax. I'm not more curious about the additional investigation that's been done so far, though.
I agree that everyone is lovely as they are, but I'm seeing the motion that if the changes you make improve your quality of life they can be worth it. It's when body modification becomes an addiction or people choose to go to sketchy doctors that things really go downhill.

At 15:43 those flashing photos, it’s against the rules to take flash photography on those rides. My ex-friends did that and wouldn’t listen to the staff telling them to stop. While the rule might seem like it’s just to preserve the rides quality, the rule is to prevent fatal and even deadly consequences.
A quick flash of light on some of these rides can and have disoriented cast members when traveling behind the dimly lit scenes. Furthermore, some of these rides are the few ones without flashing lights, and the bright flashing light can trigger migraines, sensory overload, and even seizures depending on the medical conditions of those around the person taking flash photography.
Don't fatal and deadly mean the same thing?
@@Heccfire Yes. Yes they do.

I am not an expert. To my knowledge, there are 2 types of "sonar." Active and passive. Active sonar sends out the ping that you are familiar with (the sounds from hollywood are not correct btw) and passive sonar is just listening. Sonar is THE loudest man made sound and can be heard from an ungodly far distance. If you were THAT close to a sub when it sends a ping, I have no doubt you would die nearly instantly from ruptured organs, brain bleeds, and so on and so forth.
I don't know if this is correct, but I remember hearing that sonar can even boil water just from the pressure of the sound wave. It make me wonder how the occupants of the sub survive it.
So shitty for the sea life
@@ida6950 that's why active sonar isn't used THAT much anymore, that and sending a ping would announce your location and possible intentions to anyone listening.
20:05 having close contacts with bats is generally not a good idea.
You see, germs are usually an ever-present issue. There are a bunch of them in our bodies at any time. If some of them start to multiply too much and start causing problems our bodies adapted to go into a fever - raising the temperature to try killing off excess germ. Most germ we have will die from it. However if a germ is still causing a problem the body will try to double down and raise temperature even more. And more. And more. But having a fever over 42C for extended time will also start killing off normal cells and can cause organ failure and death.
The thing is - when bat's fly their body temperature goes to like 45C. So any germs that adapted to survive inside a bat's body will just laugh at our body's attempt to fry them with fever. And even a germ that is mildly irritating on its own can be deadly to human because our bodies will like rally self destruct trying to fight it.
But... they are so cute!
3:20 they were definitely frozen laying on their side and stood up for the video. Their legs are resting together and their heads are just kinda splayed upward. Also not goats, but not sure what kinda deer they are. But yeah them being so well adapted to this kind of climate would mean they absolutely don't just die standing up like that lol. Idk if anyone would be able to live there if this happened regularly in winter.

About the topic of aging, my psychology teacher (who herself was a joyous, loving, visibly old woman) once told us that you can read the aging lines. Basically if you have/had a happy life, your lines will go upward like a smile would. Same with unhappy people, their lines will resemble the frown they wore their whole lives.
15:50 Isn't there a saying that you aren't afraid of being alone in the dark, but of not being alone in the dark?
Yes... We're afraid of the dark not because it's the dark... But because we're afraid of what's in it.
@@user-io4rt5mc6i how can a comment be too accurate?
@@AliaM270 I was a child once too... I still am afraid of the dark even though I'm freaking 16.
Plastic surgery isn't just cosmetic! It's a really important field of medicine with the ability to profoundly affect someone's mental health.
I'm personally not planning on any elective cosmetic surgeries, but a plastic surgeon was part of my team for a major orthodontic surgery, and then there's burns, injuries, restorations, etc.
But also, if you want plastic surgery bc something specific really bothers you or causes you problems, go for it. It's not my business.
And aging is a weird thing.
Some people age really gracefully in that they adapt to their changing bodies and faces and allow themselves to become someone new.
Some people resist aging with every fiber of their being, seeing every sign of age as a blemish to be corrected, a problem to be solved. I feel bad for these people.
Very true. Some of the reconstructive surgery I've seen in videos, TV shows and photos has been amazing. Even if it is "cosmetic," as long as it's safe and the patient is happier, I don't see any problem with it.
The hand surgeon who did my carpal tunnel release surgery was also a plastic surgeon. I'm pretty sure he retired several years ago. You can't tell I had surgery unless you are looking very closely because he hid the scar in a natural fold/line and stitched it to minimize the final scar. I was really impressed.

My dad works at a local training hospital where they teach doctors/surgeons/nurses etc how to do various procedures.
They have two full adults and two full children manikins, along with various torsos etc.
Anyway, I had gone in to work with my dad to record some voice overs for the child robot manikin 'Allan'. We had some trouble to begin with that we couldn't get it to speak, but my dad switched tablets and it seemed to work ok. This particular bot has tracking enabled, so its eyes and head move to follow you around the room, and let me tell you the facial expression changes are borderline horror movie.
Couple of days later, they had a technician come in to check the robots (I'm not joking, they're worth so much money. An individual full sized adult is £120k). My legs tensed up and I felt my brain fog entirely. I’m glad I’m not the only one who got freaked out by it
I don't like heights do to an experience where I ended up hanging by my fingertips as a kid in a house while playing hide and seek (open loft area). I am actually more comfortable now with something like a wall where I can hold onto something than a ski lift or floating in water. I think it is due to the fact that I caught something during my childhood experience, so my brain thinks that things are more likely to be fine as long as there is something to hold on to or be able to grab a hold of if I slip. I am really only mildly tolerant of planes (takeoffs and landings are the worst) due to flying every summer when I was younger to visit family. Even then I still don't like turbulence and feel better if I can hold onto the arms of the chair. Something like space or microgravity would absolutely horrify me due to floating in nothing. It's funny, because I think I wouldn't have minded heights except for that experience, since I climbed trees a lot as a kid.
I'm not afraid of heights and shots of mountaintops or flying doesn't bother me, but let me tell you that the space shot finally triggered that fear. Which is a shame because I love space and would love to go one day if I had such an opportunity.

idk about dogs but i can mimic koels (idk what they’re called in english im too lazy to look it up) pretty accurately, and at like either 6am or 6pm, they start loudly chirping and i can have a full back and forth conversation with them it’s so fun
My dogs do this all the time if they're bored and think they're alone in the house. It's really amazing. It was even better about 5 or 6 years ago when we still had our German Shepherd/Boxer who really shouldn't have been able to howl but was usually the one who would be starting everyone up. @@godrickstockwell1505 Yeah though it's also exaggerated there, yes a cable an bisect a person but it can just as easily flay them because of the cable unwinding during the recoil; depends on how close they were, where it hits, and how much it exceeded its rating upon structural failure.
