I kind of think it would make more sense if they were made by ancients to withstand the cyclic death rain for some sort of purpose having to do with the farms. like a long lasting way to care for the harvesting machines or a complete replacement for them after all the ancients moved to the iterator can cities?

I feel like reindeer have lore that is in the works as to why they are so tanky, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a carnivorous species of reindeer that went extinct because they ate everything
fun fact they can walk on air but only under very specific conditions. if you drag the deer out in some place like the small isolated sky island area mode you will see. Also yes, singularity bombs do work if you want to kill a dear and you can also use ascended saint's ability.

I've accidentally killed one as Gourmand from jumping on it from too high up. The worm grass ate very well that day.

Not all the bombs hot the dear so it didn't do max damage. Try to do it in a smaller place
