I don’t agree with reposting it because many people are sociopaths and would look it up. Unless he called the authorities first and it was taken down permanently. Then, I suppose it’s okay with the person completely blurred.
Those ppl are the same reason why i have a hard time going to the gym. I know ppl say that no one is looking at u in the gym, but these videos and other videos i have seen of fat ppl getting laughed at in the gym give me so much anxiety. I went to the gym for the first time and i couldn't even workout, i was so anxious and paranoid that i felt nauseous. In the end i had to leave without working out. Even the thought of going to the gym gives me anxiety and i dont know how to overcome that feeling.

I once had a seizure while at the gym with my personal trainer. They had to dismantle the leg press because my entire body was so rigid. I woke up (halfway) after a few minutes, and being carried out on the wheelchair was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. I’d be furious if someone saw me being attended to by EMS at the gym and they just said I was being a martyr!
The post said mayn at the end which was them saying man but pronouncing it mane and spelled it mayn. Nothing about being a martyr so I’m not sure why he said martyr while reading what the post said.

So like you could write maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan to put empesis on the a and display exhaustion, or to ad a few s on so(ooooo) to draw it out put a phonetical emphasis on the o maybe indicateing sceptisim.
Mayn is very similar to the maaaaan version, it puts a strong phonetical emphesis on the a makeing it sound not like a but ai, which were it spoken out can indicate disappointment or dissapproval.

Things like this annoy me because this man seems kind and like he understood the “mess up” but since he “snapped” the guys spraying the water probably wrote him off as a Karen.

For example, two “rogue” (no pride) lions were observed hunting and living together. They were originally thought to be brothers, but they certainly acted more like step-brothers, if you catch my drift.
Edit: also, female lions can transition into male lions. Not like, biologically - but they grow a mane and take up all social roles usually reserved to a given pride’s male.

My mum bought Noah Kahan tickets for me, over 6 months in advanced, as a Christmas/birthday present since he's one of my favourite artists and was in my city *ON* my birthday...and there was this couple directly in front of me filming the *entire time*. People often forget that on 9/11 there were 4 planes that were hijacked. The first two hit the twin towers first, and the other two were headed to the Capitol, but the first three had already crashed and people on the 4th plane had called their loved ones and found out about it. Since they knew that they were going to crash anyway, they ovetook the hijackers enough to cause them to crash the plane in a field in Pennsylvania before they got to their destination. Everone on board died, but no one else was killed. United Flight 93 Memorial is in Stonycreek Township, PA.
They were the only ones that knew in advance what was happening, which is why they had time to do what they did.

The lady who bowled with a pumpkin has no idea that what she did is not just wrong but that bowling alley could actually sue her over it. The fact that they were just escorting her out & possibly banning her is them being generous to her. If that pumpkin was smashed the guts could easily get into every every crevice of the machine which could lead to one or several parts of the machine to malfunction. It's not just a mess to clean out but could prevent the arm from coming down to stop extra bowling balls, prevent the pin collector from picking up any pins that are still standing, prevent the sweaper from collecting the knocked down pins, etc. If it somehow didn't get smashed it could block the ball return which means that then some poor person has to get in there to remove the pumpkin so that people can continue their game or collect their bowling ball that they own. Best case scenario she just made a hassle for other people & worse case scenario she damaged property for a video so she has no place to say that because the security guard insulted her she can sue him. Like sure try not to insult people but also don't going doing shit like this in the first place

When it comes to assault, it is about power and control. It's doing something you KNOW crosses a boundary and doing it anyways, just because you can. While women (generally) are more physically threatened in a situation like that, men still have their autonomy violated and are also defenseless and powerless. Any kind of retaliation is frowned upon due to the stigma surrounding men and sexual assault. Being forced to just "let it happen" and brush it off is nothing to gloss over. Assault is assault.
In Japanese offices it counts as sexual harassment when a group of girls swarms a guy and asks him if he has a girlfriend or not.
I do think they call it "reverse sexual harassment" but at least they're aware of it. (If a group of guys did that to a girl it'd surely be scary)
Japan has more progressive laws than people think and a lot of the reasons people don't know that is cause they only get information from western media that is often catered with a bias.

They aren't moving (and rats are very curious and busy creatures) and they seem to resemble common field rats (dunno if that's the correct English term, it's just a direct translation from my language), which you can't buy just anywhere (the rats bought as food, pets or laboratory test animals are specifically bred for certain genes that keep them all relatively similar for research purposes. They tend to be smaller, have white fur and are more likely to have dopy ears). So unless she caught some out in the wild, they're fake.

That whole post was pretty much falsified. The shoes were worn in New York as part of an art commune's attempt to raise awareness of the city's rat problem during Fashion Week. The rats are taxidermied and the shoes were auctioned off to benefit a rat rescue charity. You can google 'rat cage platform shoes' and find about a half dozen articles about it.

I'll give context as to why it does not belong on the subreddit: Taylor Swift has a moment in the Eras Tour where she plays two surprise songs every concert(one on guitar, one on piano) and until late February 2024, there was a rule that she couldn't play a song twice. This video was likely filmed on August 7th(the night she played exile in LA). It looked like a hotel room, so it's likely these girls had tickets for her concerts in the same city on either the 8th or 9th. You may see now, how her seeing from a livestream that she had missed seeing live the song that had "saved her life" by one or two days might have rightfully had an emotional reaction. That was probably shared on the internet with the intent of only other Taylor Swift fans seeing it.

People can be extremely dumb in emergency situations. Ten years ago I saw an international student passed out in the snow with three people standing by her staring silently. I took CPR classes before so I asked one of them to call 911 while I went to fetch the campus nurse. I came back to more people dumbly staring but at least a med student was checking up on her. Now people film instead if dumbly staring 🤦♂️

@@magentasunbringer If you mean what the last words were, many of the passengers had called family and friends to tell them what was happening, and some just left the call going. There are many quotes from the passengers on the wikipedia page for the flight if you're interested.
I’ve been to the Fight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Pa a few times. They did a wonderful job with it, very respectful and serene, but it is very haunting to place to visit when you know what happened there. Heartbreaking but absolutely they were heros💔

The "hose a stranger" prank reminds me of my idea of "PRANKSTER ISLAND" a place, a kind of prison society made by dropped off self-proclaimed "It's just a prank, Bro." kind of offenders from all countries. These people on this island will have to create their own society to survive with minimal help of supplies from the mainland. And maybe turn it into a reality TV show or doc series for the rest of the world to watch.

Gym services are there for all patrons to use comfortably. This is also why plus size individuals, myself included, and terrified of entering gym spaces. I've done water therapy for injuries, which was held at a YMCA location that had times where only people there for therapy or classes were permitted. I felt safe with the older ladies doing water aerobics as well, but younger women make me so uncomfortable. The looks they give are bad enough.
