But you've done a great job with that. I've done carbs, fuel pump , fuel pipe, ignition system, rear springs , hoses , doing the front suspension at the moment. But the great news is parts are sooo cheap

Must get new tyres , mum gave me her MGB GT , it's a 74 car , the tyres were 25 years old . Mum did not do many miles. But the rubber had gone as hard as a bullet. They seemed ok in the dry , but they were LETHAL on a wet road !!!!!

I always loved this car. I’d hit it with some buffing compound and a buffer and do a full buff detail on that car. Bet you it would clean up nicely 😊

Can't thank you enough! I searched all over the internet for days until I put the right combination of words in to come across your video. I have been working on cars for 28 years and this had me stumped, I had all the same issues you did and spent 3 days messing with timing and carb adjustments. After watching your video I pulled my intake manifold and sure enough, gasket blown out and must have tightened it down to hard because one flange was cracked and another broke off. Everything was brand new so it never even occurred to me to check until I saw your video. Replaced my gasket and new intake manifold and BOOM started and idled better than the day it was born. Thank you again, I was on my last nerve with this car and now my excitement towards it has been renewed. Keep up the excellent videos and take care!

I had this exact brand and body type of gokart, I took the roll cage off mine, this body type doesn't require the cage for structural support, mine had that same stock motor to and I swapped it with the predator 212, I also took a 68 vw beetle seat and cut its lower mounts off and back rest off and put it on as a seat, the springs of the seat made the ride so smooth you couldn't feel anything, also I had bicycle tubes cut up and placed between the engine block and mounting plate to serve as vibration dampers, I had it super smooth and super clean, I had to sell it tho sadly and it miss it, seeing this video makes me happy to see someone else with one 😊 also the tires on it have tubes in them so keep in mind if your thinking of changing them, when I tried to change mine I didn't know and i almost damaged my tubes 😅😊

Not seen your channel before but the P1800s popped up. It was funny listening as I too had never seen a P1800s apart from photos.....I too found they were all too far away...in UK miles = more than 50! Then saw one advertised approx 40 miles away....white with red interior looked great.....has moss and mushrooms growing on the carpets......bodywork styled by Frankenstein....but loved the look......two days later saw another approx 50 miles away......but in the direction of my head office...so lunchtime trip saw a black p1800s with broad rattle can silver stripe....no bumpers black interior looked OK ish.....started but was told would need a trailer went back and bought it .....still has the silver stripe....even though said it would be the first thing to go.......two years down the line have had some fun.....mechanical pump means if left will never start first time but the good news is..the engine is full of oil when it does. I will take a look at your other videos good luck

Ha! I have a 1974.5 just like yours! Same color with the same wire wheels. I too am having some electrical issues 😢. I bought the moss motors autumn leaf interior kit, and I’m getting it resprayed next month. I went with the Weber 45 DCOE side draft carbs. Best of luck with yours.
