If you want to clean the chrome up from surface rust use some tin foil and warm soapy water, it works very well. I have used that trick on plenty of dirt bike wheels that looked trashed, just keep it wet and watch the magic happen.

Awesome video Migs!! Hey I have a suggestion for you to get all the rust off, by some naval jelly which is used to dissolve rust and it makes everything look 10x better.

Use some never dull on the wheel, the bulb in the headlight casing is high beam ,& you should find a indian motorcycle dealer for the parts like the headlight !!!!

OMG! I had one exactly like this! Only it was grey! I had to find Rings for the engine... what a nightmare! I used steel wool and Naval jelly on the rusty bits! Works insanely well!

Chrome acid will work perfect!, just spray it on there but don’t let it sit to long, just spray it wait a minute then spray it with water

You didn't need to replace the whole head light, all you needed was the bulb assembly from the new one IF it's that same...

Try soaking a rag with white vinegar and laying it on the rust on the rims over night, mariatric acid works too from home depot, #0000 steel wool and coke cola might work too

SOS pads are great for rust. And have you checked NADA for the value of the bike? I bet you would be shocked!

Migs, This bike restoration series was really good. Your editing skills are spot on! You planned and executed the slow pan of the before and after sequence and edited it together perfectly. 10 out of 10. Your videos are entertaining and action packed. Best of all you have a positive, up beat, can-do attitude. You are going places (besides in circles in the backyard!!)

they work pretty good on some light pitting
i've heard people use soda to breakup rust too. but be careful with that

🇺🇸👍. You could have removed the new headlight from its rear housing and just plugged it in to the old one without having to mess with the wiring and use if an S O S pad to clean the rim
