Good job on the old Indian. I had a 1974 Indian MT 100 that I got new in Perryville Maryland. Great times !!!
That’s such a clean bike for the year I have a Honda XR 85 1979 doesn’t run but I’m going to try to get it running soon great videos keep it up
Best of luck getting her going again!
Really enjoyed the Indian, beautiful bike and a lovely colour.. You did good Migs ...
Great series Migs! Good on you finishing it out and getting that beauty into a nice state for your buddy!
Great Job Migs, thank you for your time
If you want to clean the chrome up from surface rust use some tin foil and warm soapy water, it works very well. I have used that trick on plenty of dirt bike wheels that looked trashed, just keep it wet and watch the magic happen.
I gotta 1971 Suzuki TC90 and I love that thing to death, I'm glad to see there are people out there who still have a passion for the ol bikes 💯
Another nice job Migs !!
Thanks!!
Awesome series of viedes enjoyed every one 💨
Loved this series
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed, hopefully I’ll find another bike like this to get up and going again!
Awesome video Migs!! Hey I have a suggestion for you to get all the rust off, by some naval jelly which is used to dissolve rust and it makes everything look 10x better.
Use some never dull on the wheel, the bulb in the headlight casing is high beam ,& you should find a indian motorcycle dealer for the parts like the headlight !!!!
That was awesome. The Indian looks almost brand new even with the rust on the wheels. Great job and awesome video Migs!!!
OMG! I had one exactly like this! Only it was grey! I had to find Rings for the engine... what a nightmare! I used steel wool and Naval jelly on the rusty bits! Works insanely well!
Love your channel and ur vids!! I would like to see your naskart series again if possible! Loved ur naskart!
You should ride your rm125, even if it’s Around the backyard 😉 plus it would b nice to see you in current time
Chrome acid will work perfect!, just spray it on there but don’t let it sit to long, just spray it wait a minute then spray it with water
You didn't need to replace the whole head light, all you needed was the bulb assembly from the new one IF it's that same...
Try soaking a rag with white vinegar and laying it on the rust on the rims over night, mariatric acid works too from home depot, #0000 steel wool and coke cola might work too
SOS pads are great for rust. And have you checked NADA for the value of the bike? I bet you would be shocked!
Migs, This bike restoration series was really good. Your editing skills are spot on! You planned and executed the slow pan of the before and after sequence and edited it together perfectly. 10 out of 10. Your videos are entertaining and action packed. Best of all you have a positive, up beat, can-do attitude. You are going places (besides in circles in the backyard!!)
I have those headlight pieces.
try an sos pad.
they work pretty good on some light pitting
i've heard people use soda to breakup rust too. but be careful with that
nice bike
The little red light is for high beams...
First nice video
Great video! But what happened to the fire truck go kart build?
I have all the parts you could ever need or want for this bike.
🇺🇸👍. You could have removed the new headlight from its rear housing and just plugged it in to the old one without having to mess with the wiring and use if an S O S pad to clean the rim
👍🍺🥩🌽🥔. 🥛💤
NO BS , is that bike for sale I'd like to bring it back to where was born Springfield Massachusetts
Ayee
Can we get a update on the nascart
Try alkaline spray on the wheels spray it on and jetwash it off
I’m on Facebook. I have six dealerships worth of new old stock parts for this bike.
