Looking good! A few other things before heading out to the strip: make sure you have a radiator overflow catch can of some sort ( I don't see one). make sure your helmet is DOT approved and the year is still valid or will fail tech inspection - unless you can rent a helmet at the track. Tech can also fail you for excessive rubber fuel hose. Bring tools, jack, parts, those spare belts, oil, brake fluid. BE PREPARED and HAVE FUN!

The driver side tire looked like it had a crack as well from the fluid. Did it have any cracks? I would check just in case I could be wrong.

You should check your vin number. Nothing on the car looks like a 74. Different nose, different dash, different rear window, etc. But I wish you the best of luck with your new car.

Do you know how to read the date on your tires? Even if you bought them recently, you never know how long they were sitting on the shelf.

Your corvette isn't a 74, the body style is from 78 through 82. Definitely not a 74 stingray
