I’d get that paint and stuff buffed and compounded before it’s too late. Leaving it out in the sun like that without protection for too long can cause permanent damage to the paint.
Give it a good wash, buff and compound it, and ceramic coat it.
And get those plastics restored with some plastic UV protection/restorer

nicely done alternator issue is pretty common the alternator will be fine i would clean all the contacts if its the one i think it is it has black and spade terminals in a little multiplug there known for goin manky and needing a good clean and also tightening up for a better connection am pretty sure that will cure that issue bud
Also I think on them old set ups the voltage regulator is an external unit from the alternator I would definitely try it

For a good charging system you should be no lower than 13 V but a good charging system would be like 13 1/2 to 14 V just a little information for you
