I first met Migs at a car show 2 years ago. We walked in the woods, talked about Corvettes, held hands and watched the sunset. Migs is an amazing guy and I will never forget that day.
love the new project. just so you know for next time you should strap it down by the suspension because when you go over bumps the weight of the car can drop and rebound to the point it can brake your straps.

Love these cars. The 390 is a runner. Especially if you put a bigger cam in it . Get it chopping. It sounds pretty good now. Send the transmission out to a builder get that done. If the bumper's are good you can rechrome them.
passenger side trans tunnel small round inspection cover/hole thats where you can adjust the transmission bands.. tighten them and it will be new again.. one is for foward and other is reverse..

My first car was a 63 Galaxie in excellent shape. I got it my senior year in high school in 1972. Had a 352 4 bbl. Had a lot of fun in that car.

I really like your purchase, your right ,I do believe the paint will shine with a good wash , clay bar it then cut and buff..that would be sick with some black aftermarket rims & tires and tint the windows ..

Are you ever going to buy a decent car to race? You should just save your money and buy a nice car, like a charger or something? So your last car did horrible on the track, so instead you buy another cluncker. You remind me of my dad, a million cars, and not one decent one.
You have a terrible mindset. He enjoys fixing them up. He's young, and he's still learning. I would say all his cars are in quite good shape, perhaps we have different opinions on what a "decent" car is. Furthermore, he's never been to the track with that car, of course it's going to have issues. Learn from those issues and prevent them in the future. Your opinion is irrelevant and unnecessary.
My opinion is valid and true. I have seen people lose everything in life pouring money into projects that consume their savings. Your opinion is valid and so is mine. We just have different view points.
I have a great mindset. I am college educated with an Associate degree in Science. I am successful earning 2 grand a month for working my ass of doing security, and I have a good head on my shoulders. This is why I am trying to give logical and good advice. I am a smart person.
