calling your own strike out is crazy
It’s the pitchers strike out
@@capitaljay1 True but the catcher called the pitch and is considered the General on the field... Kind of like a 'quarterback' so they work together but the pitcher usually gets the accolades from fans.
@@dawnbaker8023Nah. The pitcher has always been the qb. After all, they’re the ones who shake off the pitch.
And now they straight up call it themselves
@@dawnbaker8023the catcher is like the center in football.
How would the pitcher be the QB if they only last 4 innings and get swapped@@kman9884
The catcher calling strike before the ump
The pitcher bluffed the batter and ump at the same time!
@@conrad463well it was a strike anyway
Punched him out real quick LOL
Tim Hudson
What about it lol.
The dude framing it was hilarious
It’s in the box right ump?😂
Travis D'arnaud. Very comedic guy 😂
Ump just looked at him like… your joking right? 😂
@@2by4Tylor i loved when he got HBP by a position player and fell
Fr ! 😂
The ball still landing in his glove after hitting the pitcher is perfect lol
One of those once in a lifetime moments that never ends up on camera ended up on camera. 😂
@@CreamyPesto505exactly 😂 you try and tell that story and no one believe you
"pa doonk" 😂
Shouldn't the first guy that caught the ball be walked ?
@@tjvaneyk7010You mean take first on a hit by pitch? It’s not a hit by pitch if you make no effort to get out of the way.
The dude that framed the ricochet is great
Top tier framing work
What does it mean to frame…. I don’t watch baseball 😭
A real catcher would frame that out of habit. Just like signaling on the road
@@flvckoVLONE framing is bringing the glove up to the strike zone really fast after you catch it in your glove to try to trick the ump into thinking it was a strike instead of a ball.
@@iwillnotcomply6001crazy. Its like hes a real catcher reacting how you described. Do you feel like you add to anything and actually make a difference?😂
The batter catching your ball is just belittling 😂
That's my Phillies JT
Did this fractured 3 fingers but still got on base and hit for two more innings
@@SorryImLate-fv1xfjesus
@@Nardo2G that did not happen. he was fine.
@@chriskerr8736 He was talking about himself
The last one is diabolical lol
Last one should be a banned play
@@davehendrickson9186 Nope, it should stay fair game, the batter has to pay attention to the game being played.
@@davehendrickson9186 I think it is now…I read the other day that they’ve outlawed intentional walks
@@i_am_kjr no, they did not ban intentional walks, they just changed the process
Posey threw an absolute dot there
Roll tide
The dude that framed the bounce is the energy of our catcher in high school and he always had everyone on the team in a good mood having fun with that energy. Priceless to a team.
love how players can still have a laugh and a joke on field, you would not think it is a multi billion dollar kids game
"boodoonk"😂😂😂
Yess ty for writing it! Lol I was about too
Catcher calling the strike out before the ump was awesome 😂
"Hmmm, I have 2 strikes on me, but they're going to intentionally walk me now? Seems legit."
I cant believe that worked not only once, but multiple times.
2ᴺᴰ last one is probably my favorite
Muscle memory goes hard. Also they would take the walk out rather than let him hit if that's their plan. Keep them guessing until it matters.
@@vang-toulee8351lol really dude
It’s a pitchout call
@@ethankr9596 you would not make a pitch out called that obvious… That just tells the bass runner you’re gonna be doing a pitch out so hold off on stealing. Did you even remotely think before you tried speaking or do you just blab the first incorrect thing that comes to your mind.
"Last one" is the "best one" no lie .🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tony peña 🔥🔥👏 our Dominican great
I didn't even know that was him and I heard the name many times 🤯🤯🤯🤯
So good it should be illegal
What happened?
@@hairyneil it probably happened on and/or approaching a “full count” (3 balls, 2 strikes)…the catcher faked a signal to the pitcher to throw a “ball” (probably “ball 4”) and to intentionally walk the batter…the batter saw it and relaxed assuming that it meant that he shouldn’t swing at the pitch…but, instead of throwing a “ball” as the signal suggested, the pitcher threw the ball right over the plate…strike 3…tricked em…struck him out standing still and straight up
That last one… 🔥
The second clip is actually golden. Trying to frame a bounced ball, lol. Too good.
commentators did a great job of making these moments fun
JT Realmuto is like why you throwing the ball to me he's the catcher right now, not me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Last clip is ICONIC
Yes sir👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
The Peavy catch was remarkable! I also loved Mauer catching a ball off a backstop ricochet!
Nah that catcher that thought he was gonna hit the pitcher had one of the most accurate throws lmaoo
My favorite was a few weeks ago when Trav had a ball bounce of him into the air and he jump to grab it then framed it.
All of them are good but that second frame was funny 😂😂😂
the ball bouncing into the folded glove is incredible
i died at the "badunk!" the commentator made when the ball landed perfectly in his glove
I love the batter flinching at the ball thrown to the unsuspecting pitcher
2番目の
ワンバンフレーミングおもろいww
たまーに古田選手も本能でワンバンでもやってましたね😅
The catcher playing ump at the end killed me 🤣🤣💀💀
The announcer saying " Ba-doonk" had me dying man
That bluff ball 4 was vicious
2個目マジで好き
Where is Joe Mauers no look catch behind his back off the backstop?
Forgot about that. Great point.
Haha I just commented the same thing but couldn't remember who the catcher was!
That last play is genius
Nah man. Thats how you get your entire lineup hit by a pitch. It's 100% bad sportsmanship.
Framing the one hopper was Hall of Fame Worthy
The last clip was 1 million iQ 😂
I'm curious as to what the situation was that would make the premise of intentionally walking someone with 2 strikes already a believable thing that could fool the hitter.
Like why would you intentionally walk someone with 2 strikes? Even if they double stole to load up 2nd and 3rd, if you had 2 outs and 2 strikes you should just go for the strikeout instead of loading the bases so that there's a force out at each base.
@@Jkev24 I think that’s the exact reason it worked. The batter was probably so caught off guard by it that it worked
Framing a pitch after it bounces off the ground is wild..😂😂 we aint playing cricket 😂😂😂😂
second guy thought he was playing cricket 😭
These are great!!
That last one was diabolical
And waiting for the call like it was legit is great comedy.
The catcher that tried to frame a pitch in the dirt 😂
I caught the ball like that first clip when I was an 11 yr-old kid playing in my local house league, the ump let me walk and the other team's 1st base coach talked shit to me lol
You have to love a game you can play while drinking beer.
The phone started falling and I caught it 😂
The catcher throwing it into the pitchers pocket while he wasn't looking tho .
The second one was like “are you proud sir”
This is tougher than cricket
The frame after the bad pitch tho 😂😂
The catcher calling his own strike😂
The 2nd one, where he tried to frame it after the hop, too funny
Faking that pitch out was the best. Damn, you know that batter was pissed at himself. Got bluffed out of his cleats. 🤣
BP’s throw back into the glove is legendary
I wouldn't even want to call the strikeout anymore after I see the batter did that😂
I loved all the catchers I played with. Heartbeat of the team.
Posey just adding to his legend 😅
The dude who did that thing in the video was great
That catcher’s getting a drop kick to the back of the head after that last one 😂
The frame on the bounce was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen
I love that last one
That Last Clip Caught Me Off Guard. Catcher's Reaction Time Though...
More series of this plz😂
First one was hilarious, he was like, "You gonna throw me a real one now?"
The two framing ones were gold
That’s a walk he hit him with the ball lol
Last guy was the best. He was pumped!!!!
These moments are amazing. Lol
That last one with the pitcher and catcher was badass
The dude framing the pitch after it bounced made me laugh pretty hard 😂
Ringing him up himself at the end😂
First one always gets me😂😂
The best sense of humors !!
That one clip is legendary
the way he stares at his glove before checking the ump on the second clip💀
I love baseball no matter how much it breaks my heart.
Ball one-bounced.
catcher: Hey, call the strike.
umpire: Is this guy okay?
That last one was pretty bush league. 😂
Bro the throw into the dudes glove while he’s not looking is so sick
God bless that catcher for framing the bounce
The last clip was Tony Peña, ICONIC
The most exciting highlights of 30 years of MLB.
The last one hard asf
We catchers are sneaky as hell.
Thats frame after the bounce was just nutty
You know that last catcher was talkn shyt..! "Go sit down bish!"
That last one was sick
The umpire on the first one like
"Wasn't me"
Framing a ball that came from the dugout is hilarious.
Some of the greatest"THANKS"😊
Read a story years ago that Mauer after he won the M.V.P. he had the trophy laying on the backseat of his car for awhile. Like it was just an old pair of shoes or something. 😂😂
The dude framing it looked so innocent 😂😂
I laughed watching it! 😆It was my first time to see a batter catch the ball!
The third one was ridiculous. He wasn’t even looking that direction!
I was waiting for Mauee catching the rebound at Nationals Park
D'Arnaud framing the one-hopper is awesome.
Tony Peña was wild for that😂
Nah the new ball frame then asking for another ball is crazy 😂😂😂😂
That last one was DIRTY and I loved it
Tony Peña the legend with his own strikeout call!!!
Backboard shot off the pitcher right in the basket 😮😮😮
0:30 he even pulled it into the strike zone. I'm dead.
My favorite play in sports is when someone throws a pass so accurately that the person on the other end unconsciously catches it. There was another play in the CFL where the QB pinned a pass in the reciever's arms and he had no idea that he caught a touchdown.
Catcher sold that like a mattress salesman😂
