I think you took Ratchet worried about people thinking they're washed up too seriously. The galaxy IS thankful to them, you can see it as soon as they go on the parade. People are celebrating THEM. That comment was Ratchet's not the galaxy's. The thing is, their last adventure was back on Into the Nexus and that was YEARS ago. So Ratchet is worried not only in game but his comment also talkes to us, players, who haven't seen our heroes be heroic in years

I am surprised they didn't return things like ground battles from lego star wars 3. That was super fun and the most unique mechanic out of all the lego games. Was there a reason for this?

Three Kingdoms is like Odessey for Assassin's Creed. Incredibly popular and a honestly both very good games. But they went in the wrong direction and both devs learned the wrong lessons from each game.

Tbh I think in pretty much every aspect except AI the series has just been getting worse. AI is the same so I can't say it got worse

it's so easy my 4 yr old has figured out how to beat bosses and finish levels. is that really the point? probably not but this game is so disappointing as a gamer. Long stretches of getting to check points, open world fatigue, easy levels and puzzles. Proud of my son that we can play together though.

Im not sure why but aoe iv forced me to abandon some of my worst habits. It previous games I would just spam the best units I could find. In aoe 4 this will get you killed in no time. In some ways the game is worse, but its different snd fun at the same time.

I don't know if this the best mod ever for Rome remastered, I was playing the campaign with this mod as julia faction, and as soon as I would start a map battle it would go in super slow motion, which I thought the game to be froze, but I couldn't play the game that slow, is very annoying and frustrating after all I did in the campaign. I have ,Windows 11 Home , 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900KF,NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090,64GB Memory,2TB HDD / 4TB SSD. Never had this problem with Rome 2 running it at it's maximum graphic settings, so I say it has to be the mod not to be that great as some people say it is.

In my over 1000 hours experience i must disagree with the diplomacy statements. Once you had build up some allies they would never betray you unlike in shogun 2 where you get betrayed all the time. The way to go is starting with non agression pacts and then hopefully building enough score to get trade agreements or just add some coin. Unless they are barbarians you will usually get a solid partner out of them. Overall the diplomacy system has always been the same more or less in total war.

I loved the start, that i wanted it, till the part he started to swear about the battles 😂😂😂😂 so i skip to get this game i stick to rome total war and rome 2 😊

I like them all but my favorite is HOI4 because the battlefield is like none of the others. Cutting off supply lines and pulling of a pinser attack is something you can only find in HOI4. A couple of smaller armies can defeat a larger army by starving it to death with very few bullets being used. Take over an airfield and the tide can turn real quick. HOI4 > ALL OTHERS

For me, I was most disappointed by the character class system. I always really enjoyed buying new characters out of curiosity to see what little quirks and abilities they have. But now that there are classes, I know exactly what each character can do when selecting them.

Been playing for probably 12 hours and not getting it fine tuned. I just lost my first battle to bandits because I didn't know how to move my units 🤣 so excited to take another stab at the game after this video. Thank you!!

It might be overwhelming at first but a lot of us TW fans were ecstatic to get this huge scale in both battles and campaign back to TW after Warhammer kind of toned everything down and the subsequent historical titles were smaller and more focused to specific events like Atilla

They have been all but saying for a couplw years now that once they are finished with WH3 ( which they basically are now) they would work on a large scale historical title which would lilely be M3 or E2. Mind you the fans cried out for 3 kingdoms for years and then half them didnt actually buy it....

It failed because of Warhammer franchise Warhammer is supposed to be 40k futuristic not a f*gg*t swords and magic.

To revitalize the Total War franchise, CA need to venture into new themes. I have 3 suggestions : 1. Sci Fi themed Total War inspired by Civilization Beyond Earth. Where humanity struggled to colonize an Alien planet in the near future. The "affinities" are overarching philosophies on human advancement that shape players' technological advancement and unlock affinity-unique units. 2. An alternate late 1980s and 1990s themed Total War where Cold War goes hot, WW3 has erupted, Nuclear Weapons and biological weapons were used en masse. In the early game, you have to deal with the Nuclear threat, but later you have to deal with the zombie apocalypse caused by the rampant usage of biological weapons by Warsaw Pact and NATO nations. 3. A Mad Max themed Total War, where after the WW3. Nations around the world collapse, humanity had to reorganize and reclaimed the wasteland with limited resources left, diseases and nuclear wastes are the biggest threat as well as the ongoing zombie infestation due to the massive usage of biological weapons during the previous WW3. CA can take some inspiration from a city building game called "Surviving the Aftermath: Rebrith", in that game you can have quests and mission to complete just like in Attila and Three Kingdoms.

The biggest obstacle to innovation are the fans. In Age of Empires 4, the developers oriented themselves extremely towards AoE2 because otherwise the fans would have torn it up. We saw it in Dawn of War 3. What was actually a very good game was destroyed by the fans because it wasn't a DoW1 copy.

At the beginning of the video you said Medieval 2 Remastered is officially in the works. Is that actually true? That would be awesome, but I didnt hear anything about that.

As a casual veteran since Medieval 1 - Warhammer III, I'll stick with remastered; Rome II and especially DEI mod's gameplay feel slow and awkward. It simply doesn't have a good flow, giving history an undue priority over playability.

The 4x part of the warhammer games doesn't exist in Total War. The mao also doesn't really matter except punishing player movement, whereas jn previous games if I put an army at a choke point like a river, the enemy actually had to come to me and fight me. For me to ford a river it takes an entire turn, even if theres a bridge. If an AI crosses a river, it doesn't matter, it doesn't exist.

CA does not necessarily need a new engine. Hideo Kojima and his team made Death Stranding with an engine from 2013. The question is what is going on with CA, the management and devs? I believe that it is corporate effort that directly influenced the combination of all the good things past games did into one "perfect" game in order to justify the sale of older titles.

Hey andy take u should cover steem and steal mod for mtw2 the mod is set on 1860 and its a global campaign

I really miss the agent action cutscenes there was always a bit of suspense cause they started similarly and you had to wait to see if they messed up. Made it a lot more immersive than just getting the result immediately.
