Leaked! CCM RBZ Goalie Skate Analysis (OMG BBQ CTTV)
Analysis of leaked [ahem] footage of the new CCM RBZ goalie skate, including side-by-side comparison along the crucial inside edge with a Bauer Vertexx cowling!
After CityTV produced this clip (czcams.com/video/9I4bxbyI7z8/video.html) of Sean Murray from Proformance Goaltie School in BC clearly showing the unreleased, heretofore under-wraps CCM RBZ goalie skate, I decided to do a ittle video analysis of this [in]advertent leak of information about a very interesting new skate and its nearest competition in Bauer.
Because this clip has been broadcast, and is now publicly available, and my analysis represents is clear fair use, everything's nice and clean!

Excerpts from a Dallas Stars pre-game warm-up in 2009; Marty Turco is shown using the 'Turco' overhand grip to play the puck from the butterfly and one-knee down (or VH) positions, on both forehand and backhand, in a variety of situations and orientations. Notice that the overhand grip gives Turco excellent leverage on and control of the stick and puck, even though he's in nothing remotely rese...

    The Canadians were very passive for most of the game and the Czechs had far more chances. Dominik didn't even have to deal with any big chances. Canada was held up in crucial moments by Patrick Roy, who covered several dangerous chances. Canada was much better in overtime. The Czechs were crushed by the equalizing goal with a minute left. Whoever was luckier in the shootout won.

      @September2004 Před 2 lety

      A different angle at 0:52 is interesting because viewing the first time, it's not clear that it hit the post or Hasek's glove but I think after a few viewings, it's clear that it was Hasek's glove. Also, we didn't hear the metallic 'ping'.
