Marc-André Fleury - The Butterfly Slide, or/ou, La Glissade Papillon

- One of a series of videos produced in Quebec by the McDonald's Hockey Academy (Académie de Hockey McDonald's), Pittsburgh Penguins' goalie M.A. Fleury demonstrates excellent butterfly transition and slide technique for goalie coach Dominic Roussel. Notice how Fleury breaks down the movement at the direction of Roussel, but performs smoothly and fluidly throughout: jerky, robotic movements are a sure sign of an unathletic 'driving range' goalie. Don't worry if you can't speak French-- athletics is a universal physical language.
"Répéter, répéter, répéter!" -- I think we've heard this before... - Sport
I don't speak french, but I still find this entertaining. :)
die hard penguins fan right here, and no fleury is not the best goalie alive, although, i will give him the credit he deserves for being up there with some of the best goalies in the league
Vive le Québec et sa belle langue!
Greatest goalie alive
Regarder ça en 2021 après son Vézina et ses 3 coupes et entendre Joel dire ''J'pense que tu vas avoir beaucoup de succès''. YOU BET haha
sounds so much better in french
Price is my favorite
Certain things they say in thee videos seem to be head trajectory and box control but explained in another way.
I'd say Hasek is the greatest goalie alive or dead
While Roy and Brodeur have more win and rings, at that time, it was easy for even Die hard Habs and Quebecois like myself to say Hasek was better.
Because jour a Penguins fan.
Lol Fleury talks the same in English as french.
How else do you want him to speak
