This amazing exercise helped me get rid of the constant heaviness, bulging and leaking when I thought surgery was my only option.

How to Strengthen and Support your Pelvic Floor Naturally | Pelvic floor Exercise
Today, I'm going to go through 3 poses which will help strengthen and support your pelvic floor naturally. You can either use the lateral breathwork I explain or add in the hypopressive vacuum if you know what you're doing! If you've got prolapse or incontinence, this will be perfect for you.

Hi Alice, I have recently (4 weeks ago) had a laparoscopic hysterectomy. Are these exercises safe to do now, or should I wait a bit longer before starting? Thank you so much for your videos. I am looking forward to getting back to moving more post surgery ❤
Hey, hope you're recovering well! Once your consultant has given you the all clear to exercise normally, and as long as you don't have any contraindications to the vacuum breath, you should be fine to get going. Please get in touch if you're at all unsure. It's usually ok to start again around about 8 weeks post op.Thanks, Alice 💕

Is it normal for a prolapse to improve and then completely drop again? 😞
Hello, it's normal for your symptoms to fluctuate as they're improving. So for example mid-cycle or during your period, after an initial improvement you may feel like things aren't as good for a few days. However, you should be noticing a steady improvement overall with more good days and less bad days and then in time, lots of symptoms free days 8-10 weeks into a regular practice. this may be a dumb question but when breathing like this should it only be done when doing a type of exercise for this breathing? or should I start to breath like this when hiking, pilates, just living and breathing??? :)
Hey, not a dumb question at all! Keep the hypopressives vacuum just for your hypopressives practice 💕 however, the 360 breath, is something you might be more conscious of now, and this is just a great way to breathe, as it's easier to slip into breathing higher and more shallow which isn't great for your pelvic floor or nervous system! Good posture, keeping your ribs stacked over your hips / pelvis will also be helpful as this will support the natural synergistic movement between the pelvic floor and the diaphragm in daily life. Hope that's helpful!
