  • Day 18: today we're adding in more dynamic movements but keeping our practise mindful and peaceful. These hypopressive exercises are great for whole body strength and for your pelvic floor. Ball is optional.

    loving the subtle but very pronounced intensity of adding a ball/object! also the shorter but challenging practices come in very handy.

    Another lovely floor focused session, yay! I feel the vacuum so much more lying down, so they feel extra beneficial I think! (but I do love lunges and other variations also I must say) That tipping up with the leg on top of the other at the end was amazing. I did these shorter sessions twice and that felt like a good practice. Thank you for guiding us through!

    Loving the series, Alice. Just a little note, I cant see my screen when laying down and Ive notice you dont always say which arm or leg is involved, I’m often having to strain my neck to see and then still cant always work it out 😂 I’m guessing as long as I switch it doesn’t really matter? 🙏

      I bring my kindle to the floor with me. Tricky if you can't move your screen.

      Ah ok - I didn't think of that! I will bear that in mind with floor moves in the future that I'm filming, but yes, just switch arms - and feel free to remind me again 💙

    hi Alice, on this little series i find i'm missing the longer 3 breaths between the vacuums - with only one or two breaths it feels a bit rushed.. I wondered what the benefit of doing less breaths is in between, or maybe you get just as much out of it doing fewer in between breaths ?? would be grateful for your thoughts on this thank you

      It's just for a bit of variety, challenge and speed! If you prefer the 3 breaths before the breath hold and rib stretch, you can always add more breaths in, and most of the videos on my channel are the usual 3 breath, breath hold and rib stretch cycles 😊
