I mostly rock hunt for agates along Lake Superior in Upper Michigan. I also fossil hunt in Northern Wisconsin. I visit rock shops in Upper Michigan. I travel to rock hunt from the very bottom of the U.P to the top of the U.P. It has been a hobby of mine for many years that I enjoy very much. I will be taking you on many rock hunts for at least 9 months out of the 12 months every year. The cold never stopped me or the snow ! I will share with you my rock tumbling progress of many rocks I have found in the Great Lakes. I do rock trades and receive rocks in the mail that I share also.
I also Metal Detect and collect coins. From time to time you will see a metal detecting video and a coin related video.

Took a road trip to Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Ended up at a unique and fun rock shop in Iron Mountain, MI that also offer tours of a old iron mine if interested. I did the Iron Mine Tour many years ago so on this day I only visited the rocks shop. I really enjoyed the wide variety of rocks and much more at this shop. I highly recommend it. Also had some great mineral water out of the running faucet in front of the building. It is the best water I have ever tasted. Bought a few things and went on to explore more of the U.P. that will be be in up coming videos.

The rocks cut in this video were brockman jasper, moroccan agate, banded iron formation, jasper, beach rocks, jade and fossils. It is always fun to cut rocks to see the beauty inside. Had a great time watching the ducks, geese and other birds while out there. I really went to see if the Pelicans have returned to this area but only found a few. I had to try and shape a few already cut rocks and cut more banded iron and a beautiful gifted rock. It was gifted to me so long ago from Shannon who use to have a rock channel called Michael W. Wow. So much cool stuff to see in that shop. I agree that the little duck was cute. 6:11 those are so pretty and so is the jade after them. The little egg shaped stocks and the pretty mortar and pestles are awesome. Now that would be interior visit the mine. But pretty sure I’d chicken out. Too scared I’d get trapped in it. Cool that you filled your bottles with the mineral water. Great vid.
I would have to say that is the largest rock shop in Upper Michigan. There were so much more other things they sold also. Would of been to long of a video if I got it all. The black and white one you like at 6:11 is Orthoceras Fossil an Extinct Cephalopod Shell from Morocco That water had a great taste to it. I wish I had a gallon jug to fill up. I guess many locals fill up jugs there. Thanks much for watching😊

@upnorthadventureswithccc nothing for sale, have to call. Looked on ETSY I remembered Italian Melliflori glass. Lots of options got caught up in. My sister was into beads, me rocks. A place in South. CAl called Lumber City had wood bins, you could SCOOP YOUR HANDS IN.🤣🙃🤪😜theft was not such a problem then, there were lots of MELLIFLORI BEADS. I have been reminiscent lately things I did with her. Maybe that store will sell a colorful Melliflori ❤️ or I will find 1 on ETSY. It says they are getting RARE these days. 😊
@@lindaleehulsey3167 I had no idea how rare they are. If I would of known more about any of the blown glass items I would of spent more time looking at them. I do not recall any outrageous price tag that would shock me. But I didn't pay enough attention to them. I am sure I will return this summer. If I am planning on a visit I will let you know. Wow like that jasper , crazy colors , the crazy lace is cool too it can change patterns real quick , the one i sent came off a big chunk of mookite jasper had a big yellow spot in it , shines like glass should make some nice pendants , thanks

@upnorthadventureswithccc been pretty muggy. So, I have just been inside resting my sore leg and trying to heal up as quickly as possible. Me, I hate fireworks anymore and can't wait for the 4th festivities to be over 🤣 Take care, my friend 🙂
@@outdooradventureswithfayde6832 I just got fluid sucked out of my what was a good knee two days ago because that one is acting up now. OMG the pain was terrible. I screamed and tried to grab the aspiration needle out of knee as the doc was doing it. The nurse said, everyone screams when getting this done. Then they injected the cortisone in the same spot right afterwards. It was terrible but today I am 100% pain free, so it was worth it but oh did it hurt.

The brockman jasper was hard on my saw blade a bit. It was kind of like cutting hematite or banded iron formation. It is really pretty material though. Thanks much for watching😊

I noticed the little face in that one rock also :) I have way to much fun cutting rocks :) I can't wait to get back at it. Once it cools down a bit outside. In the 80's and humid today. I have way more cut rocks than I have have tumblers. I guess I will be set for the winter this way. Hoping yous have a nice 4th of July weekend.
