Au Train Falls are located on the Au Train River just south of the Cleveland Cliffs basin on M94. The Upper Falls drop about 40’ and the lower falls around 10’. In dry years the falls are just a trickle, but in spring they flow hard. Signage making it easy to find and there is parking at the first turn for the upper falls and at the end for the lower. The walk down to the upper falls can be a bit slick so watch your footing. The lower falls are easily accessed by walking passed the gate and down the gravel road.
Did you know there is over 300 waterfalls in Upper Michigan. With a 5 to 48+ foot vertical drop. I plan on seeing more amazing Waterfalls this spring.
Thanks much for watching :)

I think you should take your grandkid (s) and do a hike and camping trip or just a camping trip! They would have fun and they will remember it the rest of their lives! 👍🏼⛺🏕🏕🎪🎪

Thank you so much for taking me back to Munising 😊 We saw so many waterfalls on our trip, but we couldn't fit this one in. I enjoyed coming along to see it with you! You know, some of the best food I have ever had was in that town 😊
There really is a lot of waterfalls to see in the U.P. I love the food in Munising also :) Thank you much for watching 😊

Lovely place. Bet that water is super cold! Thanks for the trip.
The water was very cold when I dipped that one rock. Thanks much for watching😊
Love a waterfall. Even a small one. Oh now that one 2:02 is very pretty cascading down. Yup that’s super pretty. Looks like a great trail. Well it does appear to be slightly overgrown. Yeah I would have turned around too. For sure is a great waterfall. Well I wouldn’t expect anything else. Gotta a see the rocks! Lol. Nice hiking exploration day.
It was a beautiful area. Love the cascading falls. I hope to see many more this summer. There are 300+ waterfalls scattered across the U.P., ranging in size from under 5 feet to 48+ feet vertical drops. I only seen maybe 12 out of all of them, lol. I have some catching up to do :) Thanks much for watching😊
Beautiful places sister
Thank You sister. Have a blessed day🥰
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank You😊
Peaceful hearing the water flow. There is a place in Dallas where I grew that reminds me of the view of the water running. Just throw her back in the water. Talking about that rock. Thanks for taken me on the walk. Have a Great Day. Not doing many video anymore, but still collecting.
Hello Armando :) I will occasionally pick up a few coins here and there. Life has a way of changing. Thanks much for watching😊
Thanks for sharing. Last time I was there we had row boats on the lower falls. Big changes

Thank You😊
Cool place!
It was nice to see 😊
Did you see the other fall that's on the right side just before the parking area for Au Train Falls? It's a taller one and in summer it doesn't have much water going over it. But I have never checked it out in Spring. In the summer my grandkids like to get wet under the wall that's dripping water. My brother explored up there once to see where the water was coming from but didn't find any water source. So maybe it was a part of the fall? Or a Spring? The water is so clear and cold we have actually drank from it.
I seen the other falls but the trail that went straight down was ice and snow covered. It really looked slippery, so I had to pass on it. I will try to take it during the dry season. I did really want to go down to it. Enjoyed hearing of your fun times there. Thanks much for watching Velma. Have a great weekend😊
Do you worry about bears???
Yes I do think about bears. I think about them more than I should, lol Thanks for watching😊
@@upnorthadventureswithccc I bet you have your eyes open for them.
We don't have to worry about wildlife over here.
@@nicolagraynewzealandrockho8976 We have black bears and mountain lions. I have had close calls with both🤐
@@upnorthadventureswithccc omg, do you carry the repellent stuff.
Beautiful animals but, from a distance.
I did have a run in with a fur seal 🙄😁😁
@@nicolagraynewzealandrockho8976 I do not carry anything but a knife but this year I am getting some bear spray because I plan on doing a lot of hiking in the deep woods this summer. I never thuoght about seals. But yes they do look mean to me !
