On this Spring Day I set out to do some rock hunting at one of my favorite beaches to go to for variety and red colors ! I was overwhelmed by how many beautiful rocks were here at this beach in Marquette, MI. I could of filled my bucket without even looking at them, gone home and been happy :)
Thanks much for watching :)

Blacksand!! 👍 Awesome Rocks! That one with the Hematite reminds me soo much of the Nephrite Jaspers I find. Also Love the streaks! Great video, thanks for sharin' and Take Care! ☺✌
Michael, there is so much to look at here I could spend all day. I did return, I am trying to beat the tourist crowds. That is interesting to hear about the Nephrite Jasper you find. I bet they are beautiful ! Thanks for watching 😊

@@upnorthadventureswithccc I couldn't agree more
The rocks there on that beach are just so dang colorful. I think I would be lost trying to find anything. Lol. Love the bif!
The first time I came here 5 years ago I just scooped up a pail full and took them home to look through, lol. Thanks for watching 😊
What a great hunt. It's going to be a slow week for hunting down here in Mississippi. Rain, storms, and cold front ( mid 70's ) this Friday. Have a great week .
The colors here are amazing. Lake Superior is full of color and Lake Michigan is full of fossils. Both nice to rock hunt. Hoping you have a good time on Friday 😊 Thanks for watching🥰
The colors really are so vibrant there. Sounds like a nice start to the day. Coffee and rocks. I like that you share the "fun rocks" too even if you don't know what they are.
I couldn't wait to get up there and relax while looking through the colorful rocks :) Thanks much for watching~Have a great day where ever yous are 🥰
That black sand might be fun to pan for gold. Great rock hunt.
I did bring some home in my bucket. I will be panning it :) Thanks for watching😊
LAST SCENE GORGEOUS TO ME.........
YOU COULD SELL SCENIC PHOTOS ON ETSY😂❤
I agree ! Some beautiful scenic photos along the shore line🥰
Some of the reds are just sooo red and vibrant. Really neat contrasting colors shows off the patterns on some of them. Marquette definitely does have the pretty rocks. Can't blame you for returning so often. I'll be up in Wausau May 19th looking for moonstone. First time for me rockhounding up there. Yes, it is surprising you don't find more Kona there. That was a pretty pink piece you found. Thanks for taking us along, Cherry. Have a great day!
I think the red colors are what keeps me returning to this beach. Never go home empty handed here. I try and refrain from taking a bunch, well only because I know I will return :) Your trip to Wausau sounds like fun. The moonstone is a beautiful stone that many love looking for :) I hope you find several ! Thanks for watching my friend😊
When I metal detecting I always look for the black sand , blank sand is heavy and holds on to things .
Another great adventure.
Good finds .
Mike
Hello Mike :) I brought some of the black sand home in my rock bucket. I will be panning it and hope to see some gold :) Thanks for watching😊
Πολύ ωραία χρώματα
The colors were amazing. Thanks for watching😊
BLACK SAND there is GOLD.
Hello Lindalee :) I did bring some home to pan. Got me fingers crossed I find gold ✨ Thanks for watching🤩
@@upnorthadventureswithccc only the BLACK SAND 🪣 FULL OF GOLD⚖
I love all those pretty rocks! They're just so colorful. 04:01 is a great seam agate. I think it's the craziest thing that a rock could shrink lol. 07:30 really is pretty. Did you walk away with a bucket full? I think I would have. Such a pretty area. Even if it was a tad gloomy that day.
The colors of the rocks here are awesome ! I usually go home with way to many from here. I did pretty good this time. Probably because I know I am returning, lol I like the rocks you like :) Thanks much for watching😊
was in Marquette/Munising yesterday sadly didnt make it to the beach
Sorry you didn't make it to the beach. Hoping there will be a next time ! Thanks for watching😊
There's definitely a variety of colors. Kinda like snowflakes. No two are the same.
So many colors here that you really don't know which one to look at, lol Thanks for watching Martin 😊
@@upnorthadventureswithccc Bringing home some new friends!
I like the "fun" rocks. I seem to have a few of those myself. I tried to send you an e-mail, but I don't know if you got it. I'll be in the UP this summer. What do you think of doing a collaboration video?
I am bad at checking my email but I will now that I know you emailed me. A collaboration could be possible :) Thanks for watching 😊
my favorites are at 5:39 and 7:29.
Nice color choices ! Happy Hunting ! Thanks for Watching😊
I am up there right now. We went youperlite hunting last night, we found a bunch of them. A few agates and other pretty rocks. You did 😌
Oh I have yet to do some serious yooperlite hunting, ever sense I got lost on the dark pitch black beach a couple years ago, lol Congrats on your finds 😊
@@upnorthadventureswithccc yes you have to mark your way out with reflective flags so you know where to get out. I learned the hard way one time. It’s definitely fun. I also wear a head lamp.
@@greatnorthernviews3052 can I ask if there are lake flies up there ? they are really bad along Lake Michigan right now.
@@upnorthadventureswithccc Not too bad yet the woods is bad.
@@upnorthadventureswithccc They are but the numbers are way lower. I can find a half of a five gallon Pailin one night you. Calumet.
