- I had to try and shape a few already cut rocks and cut more banded iron and a beautiful gifted rock. It was gifted to me so long ago from Shannon who use to have a rock channel called Michael W. I am very happy with my cuts right up until my blade went dull and I could no longer make anymore cuts. I will be buying a new blade soon. I cut close to 100 slabs with this last blade.
Thanks for Watching :)
That's the green opalized petrified wood.
I still remember finding it we were going fast maybe 35 mph down the dirt and that piece 🧩 just stuck out on the road I yelled stop I seen a cool green white rock go back I still see it 😂
Looks cool hard to tumble I've tried a few pieces
Hello Shannon, I love this story :) This is special to me, it is from you and it is beautiful. So glad to have a I.D. on this gorgeous piece of opalized petrified wood. I check on them after step one yesterday and so far looking good. I hope it turns out I love it. Can I ask what kind of trouble you had with it during tumbling ? Thanks so much Shannon 😊
The few I have tried to the green opal tumbled away for some reason but it still took a good polish.
Looking forward to seeing how your's turns out
@@Shannon_Michael_W. I thought they appeared to have shrunk a bit after step one but not to much. Looking forward to seeing then done. Thank You again :)

Lots of cool pieces , should be nice tumbled , cant wait to see them , thanks
Gosh those are so beautiful. 😊
Thank You Lisa 😊
Well done on the saw! It is hard to get good shapes on the saw, at least, if you like your fingers. I don't know how many times I've smacked my finger on the blade trying to shape a curve onto a stone. It doesn't cut, but it sure does sting! You've got some amazing pieces there. I can't wait to see how you wrap them.
It is hard for sure. I first cut the shape I wannt "well try to, lol" then try and round the sharp corners. Ha I even tried to add 90 degree angles all around one of them. Surprisingly that is easier than rounding the corners. It is fun to try different things. They are in step two now. I got my fingers crossed on these :) Thanks much for watching 🤩
Those would make awesome jewelry!!!
It will fun when I make jewelry out of them. Thanks for watching Bill😊
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you for watching 😊
So many pretty ones. I really love seeing them cut. That jasper that you wasn't able to cut is still really cool. It has a very unique shape to it and love the colors of it. Have you started setting up at any craft type shows to sell the goods you wire wrap? I've seen booths like that at various festivals. You might be able to make a few bucks off your hobby.
I love seeing them cut also :) I am trying to get enough to set up a booth at a craft show. Don't have quite enough yet. I may be putting some in a local shop on consignment. Just not sure yet what to do. Could sell on Etsy like everyone else does ? Some day all this work will pay off :) Thanks much for watching ! Have a great week ahead😊
Hermosas piedras amiga, para hacer joyas, te envío un gran saludo y un gran abrazo desde chile 🙋♂️🇨🇱⛏️🗝️💍🗡️💪👏👍🙏😊

@@upnorthadventureswithccc Thank you I just got my stitches out today I have a new titanium toe. It will take a while before I can get out there again but I will 🥹
@@greatnorthernviews3052 Sound like you are on your way to a good recovery. Just take it easy my friend ! There is always another summer 😄
Really nice material! Very pretty! It's to bad there isn't a resident geologist around our area 😊 that could identify some of my stones too! I found a nodule by Christmas Michigan, it weighs about 5 or 6 ounces! It has in botoidal
I bet if you went into Kinsley North located at 910 Brown St, Norway, MI 49870 they could help you ID your find that sounds amazing ! Also if you are ever in Grand Marais, MI the agate lady has a store and she is very knowledgeable with Upper Michigan rocks. Thanks for watching😊
Really nice cuts!!
It was fun cutting them. Like the surprises they show 😊
Cool colors . Looks like a lot of projects coming soon.
The colors are nice this time. These will keep me busy for awhile. Thanks for watching😊
Interested to see how those turn out. Love bif. Some of those other materials definitely look cool but I am unfamiliar with them.
The green is opalized petrified wood. So looking forward to seeing these at the end. Thanks for watching😊
Stunning composition!
Thank You Cindy😊
Nice stuff🙂
Thank you😊
Υπέροχες πέτρες οι πιο πολλές γίνονται όμορφα κοσμήματα για το λαιμό😊
I can't wait to see how they turn out in the end :) Thank You for watching😊
You could glue bails onto those lovely flat prices.
I do have a lot of bails. I just may do that :)
@@upnorthadventureswithccc they will look great.
That looked like a lot of work for that saw. Some times if you use a bastard file on your blade you can get it to cut again. Some rocks leave a residue on the blade.
Hello Jerry, it was a lot of cutting. I get carried away some times, lol I have used a bastard file in the past and totally for got about doing that. I did save the blade, I will give that a try. Thanks for the heads up on the file :) and for watching😊
Head over to Harbor Freight, Menards, Lowe's or Home Depot to pick up your saw blade! Sometimes I find good prices at Harbor Freight on the blades there!
I do get my blades at harbor freight. I should check out some of the other places you mentioned. Thanks for watching 😊
You're welcome! And those were some beautiful rocks that you were working with.
@@bobbieker8915 Thank You :)
